With the Bokoblin surrounded you slowly circle the frightened creature, it gnaws and gnashes in your direction while its beady black eyes search for a possible means of escape. Youu lunge forward, grabbing the creature around its rather thin waist. Heaving it over your head and slamming it down onto the ground, knocking the wind out of it. It writhes in your grip helplessly, unable to even mustur enough strength to even threaten breaking free.
Rae,
You do still hear the labored breathing from behind the door, in fact judging by its distance you surmise the source is likely leaned against the other side of the locked door. You wait a few moments for a response, but it does not come. The breathing sounds shallow and deep, like someone asleep. Yet there is also a dragging pain on the exhale, the likes of which you have heard before.
In your training, you know that a hard strike to an individuals sternum could cause severe pain and trouble breathing for days on end. Whoever this person is, it is clear they are not concious and likely passed out due to the pain.
Theo and Paca,
Impa walks alongside you, although keeping her distance. Obviously she too is not quick to trust, She however is noticably walking faster than the pair of you. "The Castle is sacred ground, a Poe shouldnt be able to even enter it. Let alone disguise itself as the king.....Where did you see the Poe? In the throne room?"

“Yes, there was one in the throne room itself,” Theo says, his breath heavy while his short legs struggle to keep up. “We accidentally told him about the Orchard, and he disappeared. We have no idea where he went from there.” Theo gasps for a breath. “If it couldn’t get into the castle itself, I fear that we may be in more danger than we thought. Something, or someone, must have been powerful enough to get it into the castle unnoticed.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Though Quiggley recommended a use of force, Rae elected to pull out her thieves' tools. If there was an injured person leaning against the door, she did not want to risk hurting them. The yellow zora attempts to lock pick the door.
Praxius holds the creature tight, dragging it over to Dagoro.
"What do you think, Dagoro, can these things talk?", he asks his enormous friend.
He starts to squeeze the Bokoblin, "Can you understand me? Can you talk? Or do I need to squeeze until your eyeballs pop out? Tell me all you know, wretch!", he growls at it.

The creature still fights against you, albeit feebly. Now that you have a firm grip on it, you can tell that this particular Bokoblin is rather spindly and thin. Not as physically strong specimen, so you are easily able to contain it and prevent it from slipping your grasp.
Your attempt at communication does not go unnoticed by the Bokoblin, in its feeble attempts to escape your grasp its large, rounded ears do twitch and there does seem to be some recognition. Enough to settle in your mind that the creature does understand the common tongue.
Dagoro does step up beside you, aiding you in your attempt at intimidation. With both of your looming forms, cascading shadows onto the creature it immediately stops resisting. "Understand.......Leek......understand." The language is broken as it passes through the creatures mouth, the words are unable to find comfort on its tongue. This is not the creatures native language, but it does seem to speak and understand a little of the language.
Rae,
At first glance you do recognize this make of lock, it is simple and crude. Used by most of the continent in their day to day. You cant help but grin, you have picked this particular type of lock dozens of times before, it should pose not challenge to you. Carefully you find the tumbler and apply a small amount of pressure as you ease the first pin into place, feeling the familiar snap that indicates it is in its correct position. You move to the second pin and perform the same action, feeling the snap once more.
The third pin proves to be more than you bargained for, using your knowledge of the lock you put the pin in the position you think it should be but do not feel the snap and the door open. Thinking that there may be a small alteration in the actual pin, you push it a little farther. Applying more and more pressure.....You feel a Snap!
Pulling your lock pick from the mechanism, you grip the doorhandle and attempt to open it. It thuds against the lock, you let go of the handle and it falls, indicating that the mechanism inside the door is now broken and permanently locked.
Theo and Paca,
"Wait a moment...." Impa stops walking, lightly grabbing your arm Theo. Causing you stop moving forward as well. "So the Poe was in the Throne room......Where is the actual King? Does he live?"
Quiggley,
By now a few individuals have come into the throne room, while a couple do glance in your direction. Most of them seem to be more worried about the Princess, they have moved her so she is no longer on the throne. Using a blanket to cushion her head and seem to be mixing some herbs together in an attempt to aid her.

"Aid has come for the princess! There are more than a single person so I am relatively confident it is not another deception. They also look to be doing a competent job." Quiggley will relate to Rae, " It also means we are running out of the time we will be allowed to be of assistance and understand what has happened here. Concisely, Now or Never!", Quiggley will add.
He looks to Dagoro, remembering his reaction to the enemy fleeing towards the mountains.
"Where are they going? Why did you attack? You must know you have no chance of winning", he asks Leek.
He starts to move back towards the city gates with his prize, trying to keep his body and Dagoro's between it and the Commander's line of sight. This was his captive.
Rae sighs as her lockpick breaks before turning her head up to hear Quiggley's words. "Concisely then I suppose.."
The yellow zora reels a fist back towards her shoulder, her other hand hovering a few inches over the door's handle taking aim. With one swift motion, she strikes at her mark.
Luckily, Dagoro's large form is very good at concealing both you and your captive so you are fairly confident that while the commander will not be able to see you. The soldiers you had commanded to step aside on the other hand, seem to be uneasy with what has transpired and are conversing among themselves. One of them breaks off and begins to head towards the front line.
"No know.....Leek.....no Know." The creature snarls feebly, gnashing threw gnarled teeth in your direction. It is still showing signs of resistance despite your firm grip.
"Praxius, Whatever you aim to do. Do it fast, i've a feeling we wont have much longer." Dagoro watches the Soldier as he gets further and further away.
Theo and Paca,
Impa falls quiet, her stern gaze becomes distant as if she is thinking on what you have told her. The three of you pass through the Times and enter back into the Skyhall, the castle gate is now in view.
Rae,
(I have to clearify, your lockpick did not break. The lock itself broke, Im not going to force you to get another lockpick for a natural 1)
Your years of precision training coming in handy in this instance, all that time you spent honing your craft to be as deadly and precise with your fist as a archer is with their arrow proving to be time well spent. With one swift punch, you strike the actual handle of the door and feel the wood splinter and break. The handle and lock falls away from the door with a chunk of wood.
You gently push on the door but still feel resistance, however you know it to be the individual who is currently unconcious on the otherside.

Understanding the resistance behind the door, Rae continues to push the door open slowly. Once in the room, Rae will immediately scan the room for threats before focusing her attention to the injured person.
The Bokoblins feeble attempts at resistance become barely noticable the more force you apply, in fact you do feel what appears to be a bone in the creatures torso snap as you apply more pressure. The creature squirms and lets out a pained gasp. "LYEUK, LYEUK LEAD US." It screams out in pain, the name of the beast that leads the enemy. "White mane Lynel, named Lyeuk lead us."
Dagoro holds in hand out, stopping your movement forward. He looms over the sobbing Bokoblin. "What was your goal here Leek." In a fighteningly calm manner, the likes of which conceals a fury that equals your own. Dagoro streatches his hand over the Bokoblins head, Even with the large skull of the creature. Dagoro's hand fully encompasses it, leaving nothing but the creatures mouth visible.
"DISTRACT"
Rae and Quiggley,
While at first there isnt much room to squeeze yourself through the door, you push on it little by little until you are just able to slide your form through the gap and enter into the room. Stepping inside, the door immediately closes as the weight of the person leaning against it causes it to slam shut. Immediately you note that you are in a similar chamber to the one you just came from. Circular in shape and no more than 30 feet in diameter.
There is no light source, save for the one you carry and as you lift it high. You are greeted by the unmistakable shine and sparkle of thousands of Rupee's. This room is filled with gilded chests, overflowing with the wealth of the Kingdom itself. Best guess, you stand in a room with no less than 100 thousand in currency. Once the marvel of what you witness passes, you turn your attention the form of an old, rather portly looking man. Unconciously leaning against the door, his shallow breaths come laboured. A bald head, and a rather elegant if a little overgrown beard hides his facial features.
However you have seen images of this person before, albeit they werent as wrinkled or as bloody. A series of fresh wounds line his chest and appear to be rather deep, the cause of his labored breathing. This is the King, and judging by the state he has been left in. The True King.
Quiggley, the moment you enter into the circular chamber hidden beneath the door. The lightsource vanishes and you hear the dull thud of a wooden door as it slams shut.

It made perfect sense that this was a distraction. The fact that they had found an intruder in the city made it all the more believable. But what else was happening that they didn’t know?
