"It's...", Praxius doesn't finish the sentence as he just stares out across the vast city.
After a few moments, he turns to Dagoro, "You have a fine home, I am honoured to be allowed to see it". He thinks back to his life before his exile. His people would have given anything to see this.
As Paca begins to play a smile comes to his face, "Now that is a tune! You know, if only I hadn't lost my horn, I could have joined in".
He turns back to Dagoro, scratching the back of his neck. "My friend, I found something in that cave back there. And I might have taken it. Ok, I did take it. I am sorry if it was important", he says and slowly draws the sword to hand to Dagoro.
"But it was wasted stuck in the rock growing spice. Such a fine sword should be wielded against the dark forces", he tries to explain, but then goes silent and looks at his feet as he shuffles them.
Quiggley stops hugging the Goron and flies out to take a look at the city as everyone chats and sings songs at the sight. It was all so new and interesting.
Dagoros large frame begins to shuffle as he listens to the amazing tune Paca has conjured on the spot, The Goron's hands begin to slap against the side of his thighs as Praxius steps forth. Handing the blade he had just acquired to Dagoro. "OH, If it isnt Frostbrand!" He exclaims loudly, with you all beginning to make your way down the winding path. It's strange seeing such an impressive greatsword within Dagoro's massive hand, compared to his size the blade looks more like a longsword rather than a weapon that would take two hands to wield.
He turns the blade over in his hands, looking at the edge and flicks his finger against the white metal, listening to the cadence of the steel. "Aye it was put in the cave to grow some of our spice, but it's not our only spice farm Praxius." The Goron beams at you Praxius, handing the sword back to you. "It's a fine blade and its been some years since it's seen use, Take care of it and It'll take care of you." Dagoro gives you his blessing to wield the mighty weapon he referred to as Frostbrand.
"Y'know I was there when it was forged, nearly five decades ago now. It was crafted to quell the mountains rage but after we carved out the inside of it, we had no use for it other than growing spice. 'M sure you'll find use for it my friend!" The large Goron's hand collides with your back Praxius, causing you to lurch forward and nearly tumble head over heels down the path but you catch yourself.

The big smile on the Gorons face slowly fades as he is reminded of the current situation going on within his home. He faces the pathway as the five of you continue making your way down into the city, still with some distance before you reach the perimeter of the hidden metropolis. "Aye something got into the mine." He begins, Dagoro's black eyes are distant as he talks about what has been happening within Goron City.
"The Army we fought against retreated towards the Mountain, Of course us Gorons are not exactly the easiest to take down so they were met with quite the resistance. By the time I got back here, most of the army had been take care of, a few stragglers got away but we got groups out searching for em. It wasnt till after everything was done when we noticed Me ol' man, Patriach Daruilk, Chief of the Gorons was missing. We searched the ctiy for days but found no sign of 'im." He lets out a deep breath, with a clear expression of concern painted on his features.
"Then we found out somethin managed to bust into the mines, The Mines is locked under a heavy gate at all times.....There are things in them Mines that shouldnt see the light of Hylia, so we keep it closed and only venture in to search for Gems or Ores. Them doors were smashed in, Something mighty strong forced its way into the mine for something. Best we can figure is, Me Father went in after em."

Pacatakes a moment to take in everything thinks to himself "Dagoro, the son of the chief of gorons? Amazing." He then speaks aloud. "Are you planning on going in after them? We can assist you if you wish." Paca notices he is accidentally speaking for everyone says "Of course if you all want to help that is."
“Of course we would like to help!” Theo says to Paca. Hearing what Quiggley says, his eyes widen with excitement. “Could we visit the forges? Please? I would love to see what you are working on!” Theo says excitedly.
The wide smile of Dagoro returns as you voice your willingness to aid him, without being prompted to. Choosing instead to help a friend made in a dire circumstance. It occurs to you that there are many who would choose not to aid the large Goron, those who see his imposing frame and assume he could handle whatever may come his way while within the Mine. "I'd welcome the companionship!" Dagoro lets out a hearty laugh, along with Praxius as you finally reach the end of the winding path and enter into the stone city.
The first thing you notice, All of the buildings are carved not built. It seems that when the Gorons hollowed out the Volcano they chose to use the sturdy rock to carve their city out of, rather than working it into bricks to build with. So there are no sharp corners or panes of glass over the windows, this is VASTLY different from the previous city you had visited. Hyrule City was a pillar of structural engineering and architecture, meant to look as welcoming as possible. Goron city seems to built more for function. The heavy air in the city carries with it a plethora of different aromas, from cooking and sizzling meats to the stark fumes given off by what could be thousands of forges. There is no fresh air within this city, The wind does not reach it even with the large opening within the western side of the Volcano.
The ground is surprisingly soft, not as packed or hardened down as you expected it to be with the Tens of thousands of Gorons that live within the city. The Gorons all share similarities, the same black pupiless eyes and brown skin with a very rocky protrusions in place of where hair would grow on some of you. Yet they are all surprisingly different, in fact no two Gorons look the same. Some are taller and wider while others are shorter and thinner, One you stroll by is even taller than your looming friend Dagoro, who stands twice the Height of Praxius.
Most buildings you pass by seem to be living quarters of some kind, your notsure how many Gorons could fit into them but they seem rather large for only a handful. As you grow closer to where you had seen one of the three towers within the city, you start to hear the banging of metal and the sizzle of steel as it is quenched. Immediately Theo's eyes begin to wander across the dozens of smiths, burly looking Gorons swinging hammers that evern Praxius would have trouble wielding. One looks to be finishing up a rather elegant and small set of armor, clearly not meant for a Goron. While another quenches a shortsword into a vat of oil, before pulling it out and tossing it to one side. Visibly upset that something went wrong during the quenching process.
"This is Dor Feroes Alley" Dagoro, noticing Theo's excitement begins to explain what exactly this particular area of Smith's work on. "They make the finest commisions in the land, Mostly ceremonial and not meant for use beyond showing it off, if yer lookin for somethin more practical. I'll bring ya over to Cor Feroes cross, Thats the place where most useful things are made. Might even see sumthin to tickle ya Rupee purse"
"OH, Speaking of. There's a bank over yonder ifn ya needs it" The Large Gorons hand stretches down the street, pointing to a large set of red doors that are currently open. All of you look that way and immediately perk up as you see a very familiar yellow Zora enter into the building.

“Let’s go, no time to waste!” Theo says with excitement as he follows Dagoro, dragging Quiggley behind him. “If anyone can fix it, we’ll probably find it there!”
"It certainly looked like Rae, hold on", Praxius says and sprints towards the bank, dodging in amongst the larger Gorons.
"Rae, wait!", he calls, making a bit of a scene.
He felt a bit guilty that he had not asked Dagoro straight away about their other companion. He had been too caught up in finding Frostbrand and seeing Dagoro again, but he needed to know it was her, that she was safe. And find out how, why and where she disappeared to.
Your calls to the Zora go unanswered, likely due to the vast amount of white noise within the city itself drowning out your voices before they could even hope to reach the Zora. Praxius breaks off and heads towards the building pointed out by Dagoro, the same one in which Rae had entered. "Well I guess we're headin to the bank" Dagoro leads the rest of you along, walking behind you so as to not lose you within the cramped street. "Ye could buy a new one of dem ifn ya needs it Quigg's, is only a lantern."
As you get to the building, standing outside a large set of red stone doors. You look inside and find that the room is surprisingly small. No bigger than 20 by 20 with a single Goron leaned over a desk made of stone in the center of them room. Rae stands with her back towards you, talking with the Goron.
Quiggley will wait for the others to visit with Rae and conduct their business at the bank before searching for a place to fix the lantern. At the words of Dogoro, Quiggley will reply, "I would if it were mine, but it's not, so it wouldn't be the same." Quiggley continues to chat with Dagoro while the others finish with Rae while looking around at the shops and services.
Dagoro stands with you, outside the banking institution and points out a few buildings that might be worth your wile. "Over yonder is Lucky Tidings, dey usually import things from all over Hyrule. Even got a contract with Beedle and Barts to peddle some of their wares." He points towards a single story stone building, again this one appears to be carved out of a large boulder, it is round with no noticable edges and noticably without a door of any kind. Tucked at the far end of the street you are currently standing on.
"Ifn ya lookin to get it jus repaired, talk to Ol' Amoto jus down there." He directs your attention a little ways past Lucky Tidings, to an outdoor smithy where you can see a Smaller Goron who seems to be more a tinkerer than a smith. This Goron looks visibly MUCH older than Dagoro, with noticable rocky protrusions on his elbows and knees along with a long rock outcropping coming from his chin. "He's got fast fingers."
Paca and Praxius,
Rae looks over her shoulder, acknowledging your appearence but finishes her conversation with the Goron before turning to address you. "Hey!.....Yeah Im sorry about that." She steps out of the building with the pair of you, holding a small leather pouch in her hand. "I got a message, Beckoning me to return to Zora's Domain. Something has happened to my property there that requires my attention, Im just getting some spare change to gather some food before I take my leave. I feel awful for vanishing on you like that....but.....this is everything I've built."

"When you got to go, you got to go", Praxius says sadly. "You'll miss all the fun in the mines mind".
He looks downcast for a moment before perking up, "Maybe I'll see you sometime, I have never been to Zora Domain, and I seem to be on a bit of a tour".
With that he looks a little uncomfortable, starting to reach a hand out to shake Rae's, before withdrawing it.
"Not good at goodbyes", he says finally before turning around and heading back to the others.

"The Hero is Chosen by destiny. A Champion makes their own choice", he mutters quietly, but loud enough for the others to hear.
"Of course I am in, Paca. Besides, if Dagoro here gets himself killed, he won't be able to make good on our bet. Got to keep the big guy alive. Ha!".
Quiggley just shrugs, "Sure, but I got to get your lamp fixed first." He replies to Paca.
