Nyka is a little rattled by mention of a curse, but laughs again at Lute's attempts to mock him. "Trust me on this one, Lute. I had no doubt in my mind that you were not the one who cast that spell. You need to have talent to use magic."
As things begin to shake, Nyka looks to Dagoro and the others. Then a squinting eye back to Lute. He waits to hear the response from Dagoro or Lute on what is happening.
"Is not the Yiga" Dagoro responds to Praxius, the look of concern on his face being replaced with one of steely determination. "The Mountain went quiet when a Hero of old killed an ancient dragon by the name of Volvagia, you've 'eard the name before. In Hyrule city. Ever since then there has been little noise come from it, is why we hollowed it out. If its waking up now, It means whatever bust into the mine found a way to wake it up without Volvagia.....I'm agreeing with Theo, we dont have the time for this." His grip tightens on the Yiga, who's pale and purplish pigmentation almost turns stark white as the blood flow is cut off throughout their body.
"Long......Live.....the.....Yiga" Is the most the Yiga member manages to say as they are squeezed by Dagoros strength, with the barrel of Theo's weapon pressed against their face. At this point, you get the feeling that if they do know more than they have said. They are either holding it back or they dont have anymore to say.
The rumbling underfoot stops, with the city once more coming to rest. "If'n the Volcano erupts now, Goron city will be swallowed in a lake of molten magma" Dagoro chimes in, thinking about the fate of his home.

"And if you give the order to abandon the city the way to the mines will not be guarded. Let me kill the fool, we'll go to the mines and go in. You order the city abandoned at that point until we fix this, find your father, or you know everything gets really red and hot. What do you all think? Sound like a plan?" Quiggley asks.
"Aye, let's be gone. We know there is another who can provide answers close by, maybe that one will be more talkative. In the meantime, we need to get into the those mines", Praxius says, in total agreement. He has no qualms about killing the Yiga.
"Give our regards to Master Yohga", he says to the Yiga as he waits for it's life to end.
Kadevii's eyes widen as the city shakes. "We can't let that happen, Dagoro. You're our friend; all the Gorons are. We'll get to the mines and save the city!"
He watches the life slowly drain out of the Yiga, and shakes his head sadly. He'd tried to spare them, show mercy, but the unrepentant Yiga had only scorned them, spit on Kadevii personally.
Some people couldn't be turned.
"Let's move!" he calls to the others, swinging the door open and taking to the sky, leading the group toward the mines.
Nyka's eye's widen at the name Volvagia. "Oh, this isn't good. Yes, we need to move quickly. I know Volvagia had progeny, could one of them be causing this? Valoo long ago helped the Rito, but it was benevolent and kind, I don't think it could be them. It even aided the Hero of the Winds."
A number of conflicting emotions go over Nyka as he watches the Yiga die. He didn't want this, but was there any other way. However, there was relief as well. With a sigh, he follows Kadevii out with a shout to the others "Lets go, time is not on our side."
"Well this sounds just wonderful" Paca says sarcastically "Lizi, I have a bad feeling about this but I suppose we can't just let this terror upon Hyrule." Paca then commands his mage hand to slap the Yiga right before Dagoro or Theo finish him off. "Let's get a move on folks"
Theo puts down his Pepperbox, letting Dagoro finish them off. He is breathing very heavily, and is looking down. Sighing, Theo puts his Pepperbox back in its holster and starts walking to the door. “Well, let’s get going then. No time to waste,” he says as he heads out the door.
With that, Dagoro's grip tightens around the Yiga who is now gasping for breath. Yet unable to find any as you audibly hear the snapping of their ribcage, The Gorons fingers tense as they meet around the torso of the Yiga and with a POP, Interlock while the Yiga collapses in his grasp. A trail of crimson seeping from their open mouth. Dagoro drops the unmoving corpse to the ground with a thud, The Yiga is no more.
"TO THE MINE" Dagoro yells, Marching to the entrance but is stopped by the Tiny hut conjured forth by Paca. The Goron slams on it a few times. "Uh....Paca? You mind letting me through?" He asks, having no knowledge as to how the spell works and assuming the Kokiri can let him pass through the magicaly conjured dome.
Kadevii will quickly cast guidance on the one looking through the Yiga's stuff before running out and kicking off into the air, following after Dagoro.
"Sorry big guy, this is here for the next 7 hours and 45 minutes by my calculation. I have no way to get rid of it. Try smashing a wall?" Paca says embarrassed
With the entryway now open, Dagoro swiftly exits from the building with all of you following after him. Exiting out into the City, you can see numerous Gorons who appear to be confused as to the recent tremors while others are picking things up that may have fallen over. A few Smith's are cursing as the tremor had caused them to strike a section of the metal they are working on in the wrong way, forcing them to start again. Other's are actually clearing some of the fallen debris from the streets.
In fact the deeper you travel into the city, with most of you keeping pace with Dagoro as the large Goron isnt exactly the fastest on his feet. You begin to see that entire sections of the carved city seems to have collapsed into the streets, quite a number of the buildings are no more than a pile of rubble while others, the sturdier and thicker carved are still standing with a few small pieces having fell off the corners of them.
Dagoro leads you past one of the Three Towers, which looks to have held up quite strongly in the tremor. Although there is a rather noticable crack now stretching up the entire length of the 100 foot high building. You enter into a section of the city where the population grows less dense, you see fewer Gorons as the street actually widens out into an open landscape where you see piles of unearthed minerals and stone.
The worked road you have been traveling on gives way to loose dirt and gravel while also beginning to show a bit of a incline as you near the edge of the City itself, where the Shell of the Volcano meets the ground. After a few more moments, Dagoro slows his pace and takes in a deep breath. The Goron is a paragon of strength but not much for long distance sprinting, just as you see what must be the entrance to the Mines.
A 50 foot high set of double doors, carved from stone and braced with iron are carved into the Shell itself. They are MUCH larger than the gates most of you have seen in Hyrule city and appear to be much thicker. However one of the Doors is broken, the lower half of the right door has been destroyed and below it sits a pile of stone and mangled iron. This is clearly where the gate had been broken into, as Dagoro had told you earlier.
Two Gorons, both roughly the same size as Dagoro stand on either side of the twenty five foot doorway. One leaning on the handle of a large maul, while the other Lazily sharpens what is a greatsword to you, but looks more like a longsword in his massive hand.

Praxius approaches the gate, keeping a little distance from the guard Gorons. He surveys the scene, taking note of the thickness of the stone that had been turned into rubble. Just to be sure, he looks to see the spread of the stones, to try and determine for sure that it was something breaking in and not out.
"What manner of creature could destroy a gate that thickness? Or could it have been magic? Either way, we are against something powerful", he says.
Pacawill ask the two gorons, "Did you happen to see what caused this or have any information as to what is happening?" Paca will wait for a response whiles also inspecting the two gorons to make sure they are indeed gorons and not magically disguised yiga.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Quiggley looks at the scene and the gates and the stone. Then a lights by Theo, whispering, "If that stone was propelled with the speed and force that your fire sticks throw lead, could it do that? Can you calculate the path of travel to its origin?" Quiggley will ask him and cast Guidance on Theo.
Examining the debris left over from one of the stone doors being destroyed, you find that most of the rubble is on the inside of the doorway and not the outside. Indicating that the force that broke the stone door came from the outside, meaning that something did break in to the mine. By the look of the debris, being that most of it is in smaller pieces and having broke in a few doors yourself in your past. You are fairly certain that whatever did it, was Physically VERY strong. Nearly as strong, if not stronger than your Goron companion Dagoro.
Paca,
"Uh......"The Goron leaning on his Maul straightens his posture, noticing Dagoro walking behind the group. While physically the Goron is just as big as Dagoro, he seems to be not as muscular but he does show clear respect to Dagoro. " 'Fraid not, we wus only told to watch the gate after it was broke" The Goron looks over to his companion, who acknowledges you and your group but does not stop sharpening his blade. Nothing about either of them scream that they are hiding anything or that they are something other than what they appear to be.
"Heron, Leron. Did ye feel that quake jus' now?" Dagoro steps the front of the group, addressing both Goron's by name. Both of them look at each other and then back to Dagoro. "Quake? We felt no Quake 'ere, its been quiet. No one even came close to the mine since you left a few hours ago."The one known as Heron, the Goron with the Maul replies.
Dagoro scratches the back of his head. "Dat's odd, We felt a tremor in the city a bit ago." Dagoro looks visibly confused, It appears that the center of the tremor did not go beyond Goron City.

“The gate’s already destroyed, I don’t know what broke it,” Theo says exhaustedly. He is panting as much as Dagoro is. Running around cities was not what he had in mind, even though he got to see much of the city as he ran.
Turning towards the Gorons, Theo says, “We found out that the Yiga were planning to get into the mines. We need to get in to see what they were planning on doing.”
