Flushing red with embarrassment Hamhock says aloud, “Well out o me fryin’ pan and into the fire” as he bashfully reaches down to his ankles to pick up his britches. Turning to his fellow party members, “Right, well I’m feeling a little “exposed”... so, maybe you lot should take it from here...”
Muttering to himself, “Knew I shoulda bought a new belt instead o’ that shiny new frying pan.. blast it!”
Out of sight from the rest of the crowd, Judas kneels down and scribes a weird ruin into the dirt on the ground. He then reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pinch of white powder. Sprinkling on top of the ruin, he quietly mutters a few non-descript phrases. Suddenly, the earth begins to rumble violently.
“Earthquake! Everyone take cover! The gods are showing their anger....”
Judas cast Thaumaturgy, causing a harmless one minute long earthquake.
While everyone is distracted, Judas will make the short run back to the body we discover on the roadway here, collects some of the blood, and brings it back. He then smears a large amount of it on the doorway.
In the panic of the earthquake, most of the laborers and some of the nobles ran away in fear. The doorway, sensing the blood, rumbles and opens just enough for you all to slide through. An exhalation of gas escapes. It sounds almost as if the antediluvian air were whispering to those near the entrance. It smells of decay and corruption, and there is an undercurrent of some wet, almost sweet, fungal stench, as well.

NEW RULE: INSANITY
From this point on, anytime you get a 1 on a roll, or if a creature or circumstance against you gets a nat20, the target gains 1 insanity point to demonstrate the slow deterioration of your mind. Get 3 and you will be forever lost, and your character will be considered dead.
Hamhock darts into the temple hoping to avoid any more leering eyes from the crowd as he enters he thinks to himself...hmmm smells like the inside of a vat of kimchi in here!
Following Hamhock, Ugg begins to lower his pants when he suddenly realizes that he didn't mean to do that and pulls them back up. Then as the door opens and Hamhock runs in Ugg draws his sword and follows more slowly his eyes roaming around carefully looking for any potential danger. As soon as Ugg feels the membranous nature of the floor he takes his sword and tries to pry some up to see what is underneath.

Seeing the entire commotion that has happened, Varth quickly fixes himself up a bit and follows his companions. He then turns to Hamhock.
"My friend, that was such a spectacular display! Reminds me of a little, ancient comedic tragedy I had read about concerning a fey spirit making people's clothes come to life and talk."
He then chuckles to himself at his little jest.
He then looks at the entirety of the inside of the tomb and looks around in awe.
"By the gods, this is remarkable. It looks a lot like a diabolic mix of creature and machine. I must write this down in my notes."
He then takes out a small leather bound notebook, a quill, and a small bottle of ink and writes down what he observes.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As Ugg digs in the floor, suddenly organic tentacles erupt from the floor at his position attempting to grasp you violently: 1 but they miss, and, in a flash, return to the ground whence they came.
As you notice that the humid air is creating dripping water, it drips and touches your skin - unless you are covered in some sort of head, shoulder and arm armor, it burns, and you take 1 damage.
"Gu-Guys. I'm all for adventure, and violence and stuff. Yeah, woo." Phil says very unconvincingly "But maybe we should just leave this place alone. This is definitely not right, maybe it's best we just go back, blow the door, and make sure everyone outside knows, absolutely nothing is in here." Phil finishes gravely, starting at the membrane like floor, and dripping acid from the ceiling.
Deep within, an impossibly large creature lies motionless. You cannot tell if it is dead or sleeping. The thing looks somewhat humanoid, though giant, parts of its anatomy are wholly inhuman. It has many tentacles, stalks with what appears to be eyeballs attached to them, various gaping maws hanging open breathlessly, something other than legs upon which it must have moved, scales and fur and slimy pustules growing upon its surface like a rotting mushroom garden. What might be its face has a vaguely aracnoid countenance. It seems a malevolent and ultratelluric beast, like something out of a nightmare.
Surrounding the creature are piles of disgusting muck - it appears as though faintly throbbing entrails and offal are strew upon the floor as if one were walking upon coagulated mucus. Egg-shaped things sprout from the revolting sludge.
Beyond the massive corpse-god glows a sinister red...organ(?). It looks like a cross between an alien device and some kind of living creature. It's a greenish-brown hue with red veins. Alongside the curious organ are humanoid bones so old they've nearly turned to dust.
Praise the Hells, nothing happens as you probe the "organ" with your weapon. The moisture continues to burn your skin, and it's so hot in here. The eggs, out of the corner of your eyes..did it just...wiggle?
So, for reference, in this chamber you have:
- The dead god - The eggs - The organ
Ugg. You feel...strange, after touching the organ. Is it...calling to you? You seem drawn to it. Like nothing else matters anymore.

Muttering to himself, “Knew I shoulda bought a new belt instead o’ that shiny new frying pan.. blast it!”
Haha, that was amazing. Great laughs. Who's got another solution? Hint: We need blood on the door.

Underneathe the floor, if you dig up enough, you eventually reach the metal floor.
If you would be so kind, because you did so, please roll a d6.

Anyone who is not wearing any sort of armor on the head, shoulders, or arms. It burns like stomach acid.
Feeling the burning sensation as a drip hits his arm Ugg grimaced and prepares to swing his huge sword if any more "tentacles" appear.
"I don't like this at all. I want to fight enemies not wierd floor tentacles."
Finishing his statement he begins to walk towards the red light to see what is up ahead.

“It's not that bad. I'm not saying I'd like to build a summer home here, but the corpuscles are actually quite lovely” Judas deadpans, quietly.

"I wonder what would happen if I poked that red thing with my sword."
Ugg mused as he began to approach it with outstretched greatsword.
