Stonegrin looks to Trilena, "Oh..." he then looks back to Mitsu, "Hold a moment lad" and then back to Trilena, "I need ales, one for myself, and one for my friend...oh wait ya know, lets get one for the whole table, we are celebratin the liberation of a new acquaintance from some Goblins and a big ol' bugbear. Going to have us an ale, and some rest before going to look for our patron who has been nabbed."
“Not so much a Businessman. Between my membership in the Lords Alliance, and my Station in the Gryphon Cavalry, my connection are far and wide, though I may not always know with whom I am dealing."
Stonegrin, Mitsu
“An adventuring Troupe! And you say you’ve just come off a search and rescue mission? Well. You’ll have no trouble finding work in these parts... people have gone missing left and right since The Redbrands came to town.”
Well, you'll not find them here I can tell you that... they've been loitering about that dive up the road. The Sleeping Giant. Makes sense, since they are holed up in Tresendar Manor on the east side of town. I hear they call their leader Glasstaff. They've been snatching people up, and disrupting nearly all business in town! All except the Phandalin Miner's exchange, that is. You could probably talk to Halia Thornton tomorrow. She runs that place. I'll be off to get your drinks now"
Nice, we should talk about that: this Alliance of yours looks like a wise choice. we could about it later, come dwon as soon as you can or your drink will go spoiled...or drunk..bye
"Well from what I was just told they've been loitering about that dive up the road, The Sleeping Giant, they've been hiding out in the Tresendar Manor on the east side of town, apparently they call their leader Glasstaff, and also they've been snatching people up and disrupting nearly all business in town! All except the Phandalin Miner's exchange, that is. Anybody remember if that's who Gundrek was getting together with? She said we could probably talk to Halia Thornton tomorrow"
"Hmm. If The Redbrand's business is Snatching people up, they could be behind the disappearance of Iarno! They may even have some connection to the Black Spider, since Gundren and I were also taken."
Stonegrin takes a long drink from his cup, a bit spilling onto his bushy red beard as he does, "Not a bad thought there lad. I say we check em out, at the very least we'd be ridding the town of their nuisance, and at best we find a clue. What say ye lads?"
Mitsu is right, it is a high risk. Anyway, I think looting the looters can get us something, plus the gratitude of the kidnapped families will count for something, wouldn't it? I am in for it, unless Sildar here can address us somewhere else. Sildar, since you are still injured, if you don't mind, maybe you can search for your contact here or other clues while we will focus on this new...things?!
“Well, I’m already “on the hook” as it were... I’d say it’s likely I could secure a payment of 200 gold pieces if you were to deal with The Redbrand threat and find my friend Iarno. While you do, I will do what I can to sew the seeds of goodwill for you in this town.
But finding Gundren... that will take some work. I would be able to pay you 500 on behalf of the Lords Alliance for finding him and making sure The Cragmaw don’t endanger this town or its people any longer.
Law and order shall bring prosperity. And if Gundren has truly found what he claims, that would be more than worth the trouble.”
Trilena returns to the table, having had a glance at the piles of crates in your wagon outside
“thats a mighty haul you’ve brought! You should probably secure it before turning in for the night! I don’t want to attract attention from the redbrands, and you probably want to keep everything you’ve come here with” she suggests, nervously
"Right, where about could we find Barthen’s Provisions in town?" Stonegrin askes with a comforting smile, as he also hoists his cup to Trilena for a refill.
In front of Sildar Meleager wonders aloud:
No, I am not here for the payment, actually I was going to invit...
but then he thinks a little and replies
You have never been here and you already found someone lending you money?! What a business man!
Meleager
"I 'eard you talking about them before there, who are these Redbrands?"
Well, you'll not find them here I can tell you that... they've been loitering about that dive up the road. The Sleeping Giant. Makes sense, since they are holed up in Tresendar Manor on the east side of town. I hear they call their leader Glasstaff. Meleager replies, content with Sildar's answer:
Nice, we should talk about that: this Alliance of yours looks like a wise choice. we could about it later, come dwon as soon as you can or your drink will go spoiled...or drunk..bye
And then he goes downstairs
Meleager
"Why, thank you, I think I will...I've got some messages to attend but I'll be down shortly, thanks!"
Everyone
After Meleager joins the table, Sildar find a chair and sits with the rest of you, enjoying the pleasant company.
Mitsu drinks little of the strange alcoholic beverage, and talks little, though he smiles and nods when appropriate. He seems happy to just be there.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Stonegrin nodded to the serving girl in thanks for the information, "Didya hear that lads, towns got a bit of bandit problem."
Meleager
Damn
Says Meleager, sipping his drink
please, let's do a catch up, bandit what?!
"I've just learned about that! what is it you've heard?" Sildar looks eager to learn about the lawless element of the town.
"Well from what I was just told they've been loitering about that dive up the road, The Sleeping Giant, they've been hiding out in the Tresendar Manor on the east side of town, apparently they call their leader Glasstaff, and also they've been snatching people up and disrupting nearly all business in town! Mitsu frowns, scratching his black-haired head. He drums his fingers on the table for a second, then turns to Stonegrin.
"I want..." he says slowly,
"more gold for that."
And that's all I have to say about that.
Melager nods to Mitsu

“Well you can’t miss it! It the last store-house on the right taking the main road"
(it’s the same way you came, you passed it on the way into town)
