As you step out into the darkened streets, you breathe in the cold night air. You are across the street from the stonehill Inn. This side of town is fairly quiet.
You all return to The Stonehill Inn, ready for a night of rest. The room is mostly empty, but for Trilena and a man sitting at the bar, going over a few books and papers.
Upon entering the inn, two small boys in night clothes run out from the back room. They run up to Zuix and Stonegrin. One boy tugs on Stonegrin’s pant leg and the other knocks on Zuix’s shell.
One boy gathers up his courage to talk, “excuse me, mister... are you REAL adventurers?”
Stonegrin smiles, he only stands a bit taller than the boy, but he does his best to puff out his chest and appear taller. "Better yet, heroes boy, we saved a man just today from a band of vile Goblins, and their evil boss KLARG THE BUGBEAR!" Stonegrin chuckles, "Fought him with this very axe" Stonegrin says patting his handaxe.
One holds his hand up to the others ear, whispering to each other, giggling.
The taller one, about 8 or 9 looks at Stonegrin "I'm a bugbear! RAAAAWRRR!" He lunges at your leg, wrapping his arms and legs around it. He makes even more snarling and biting sounds as his friend joins in.
"Yeah, and I'm a Redbrand!" He is smaller, 5 or 6. He rushes to you with a pillow above his head. "Get 'em, get em!"
"Oh nooo!" Stonegrin says as he is attacked by the anklebiters. He gives them a few moments of winning the wrestling match before he begins to overpower them, "Take that Klarg!" he says as he wrests the Pillow from the Redbrand and lightly assaults 'Klarg' with it, then he turns it on the Redbrand in turn, "And you..." he says to the other, "I'm here to stop you" chuckling as he play wrestles with the both of them.
"It's too late!" the older boy responds "You win!"
both boys gather themselves from fits of laughter and the older boy runs back to his parents at the bar.
the younger stays behind "um, do you really want to defeat the redbrands? I know how you can find them... we was playing looking for hiding places and we almost gotted catched by them. They have a good hiding place. do you want to know it?!" the boy is still excited from the battle.
Zuix smiles at the boy and nods, That would be wonderful if you could tell us, I will spin a tell when we get back of our adventure there if you do tell us.
Well that is a stroke of luck I did not think we would run into. The divines are watching over us it seems.
Zuix finds a place to sit down and rest. He lets a load groan as he does.
"Yeah! Then you can teach us how to be adventurers!" He is beaming
"You know that big old mansion on the hill? Well, I think that their hideout is underneath! We was playing way back behind my momma's farm and I seen a buncha bandits coming out from the bushes at the bottom of the hill. They didn't see me, but I thought I seed a cave in those bushes where they were at." He starts talking about the ugly bandits with the speed and intensity that only a child could.
His imagination runs wild, but he finishes by asking "did I do good? I'm sleeping over with my best friend tonight, but I can take you tomorrow when my momma comes to get me!"
"You did a good job son, you are well on your way to being a great adventurer some day." Stonegrin reached his strong dwarven hand up and rustled the boys hair and grinned. He then turned to the rest of the party, "So, first we rest lads, then tomorrow we go to the mansion on the hill. I'd wager these ruffians have an ear to the ground here in the town and might 'ave heard us asking around 'bout them. So we might do well to be on guard tonight."

As you step out into the darkened streets, you breathe in the cold night air. You are across the street from the stonehill Inn. This side of town is fairly quiet.
"Whaddya say Lads, rest up for the night?"
Zuix nod I could use some rest. My old bones are starting to make sounds. He thinks to him self.
"I for one need some rest."
Zuix nods again
"I'm tired" is all that Mitsu says, smiling.
And that's all I have to say about that.

"Better yet, heroes boy, we saved a man just today from a band of vile Goblins, and their evil boss KLARG THE BUGBEAR!" Stonegrin chuckles, "Fought him with this very axe" Stonegrin says patting his handaxe.
Mitsu keeps an unnaturally straight face at Stonegrin's speech.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Both children gape, eyes wide "Wow!"

Zuix smiles at the children playing. "Get him little ones."
Zuix looks around the rest of the inn. As much to himself as he can he cast detect magic
Zuix, roll slight of hand or stealth.

Neither of the children notice you casting, nor do the two at the bar.
"Oh nooo!" Stonegrin says as he is attacked by the anklebiters. ”Oh, no” the older boy exclaimed “he’s winning! Retreat!”
the younger boy also shouts “don’t tell them about the secret hideout!” As he continued to hit you with his pillow
"It's too late!" the older boy responds "You win!"
both boys gather themselves from fits of laughter and the older boy runs back to his parents at the bar.

Mitsu's been examining the room disinterestedly, but he now looks over.
"Yes," he replies.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Stonegrin looks to Mitsu and then to the boy and with a wink says, "We'd have a great story to tell ya, if we knew where to find those rascals"
Zuix smiles at the boy and nods, That would be wonderful if you could tell us, I will spin a tell when we get back of our adventure there if you do tell us.
