The demise of the foreman makes Vin's decision easier.
"Some people just aren't built for sun bathing", he says in reference to the dwarf, even as he steps forward and sends two bolts of force flying across the room towards the spawn that was attacking Gewyn. The first one goes wild as he gets the range, but he has more hope for the second, which he tries to invest some extra force into to push the spawn away.
It is then that the floor erupts and he hears the voice.
"She's here! Mori!", he says in a sharp outtake of breath.
For her part, Neferox stays by the door, standing guard in case any more worker spawn choose to die to her jaws.
The pair wait for instructions from Sol, although they are far from patient.

Muir hears the voice and raises the part of his face where eyebrows would be...His ear perk up surprised until Vin speaks. "Ah that does make more sense" he says to himself
Before Vin solidifies Sol's assumption as to who is cursing down below, he hears Mori's voice. His eyes go wide and his grip tightens upon his staff. The woman that has betrayed and doomed them all. The one that stood beside his queen, feeding her and the others lies with that snake tongue of hers and now.. to have the gall to show up here. Speaking of, how did she get here so fast? Didn't their friend say she was in her quarters?
Nevermind. Her demise is now all that is on his mind. "She must not be allowed to leave. It would be good to bring her to Shenoh, alive for questioning and all that, but if we kill her, it won't hurt my feelings."
He looks to the group and sees several still bleeding profusely and wants to give them what he can to help with the coming fight. Dropping the dawn circle he lifts his hands again towards the party members and casting his mass healing word he notices that Gewyn is outside his range and that Muir and Griff are not hurt. He sends 11 hps to Ometyr, Sam, Nef, Vin, Spyro and himself. He also sends an extra 5 hps to Sam (He did the first time as well, I just forgot and DM is letting me retcon that. So Sam receives 21)
Sol then starts running south, he picks up speed till he reaches the edge of the stairs, inverting his gravity he walks along the wall to the treads of the stairs and then runs down to the door below. He will use the rest of his dashed movement to walk into the room if he can.
Vin's second eldritch blast hits sending the Spawn reeling into the wall, he balances the force perfectly for the repelling blast just as he had been practicing, both on his own and with sam's advice. Unfortunately the Spawn being against the wall mean it doesnt go anywhere just yet...
Ömertyr sees the dwarf fall and turn to sludge and then refocuses his efforts on the last remaining Spawn. Putting one arm out to the wall closest to him, Ömertyr puts his fist through the wall and pulls out a large chunk of crystal which he then throws full force at the Spawn. (16 to hit, 25 bludgeoning) the spawn is near crushed but is still struggling, until Griff takes two arrow shots at the thing, the first misses wildly shattering off the wall near gewyn's head, Griff reacts somehow making the teeth sucking noise reminiscent of a mechanic about to drop some expensive news. Griff then takse his second shot which enters the spawns head via one ear and leaves via the other. The spawn, now stabbed, crushed, and with a nonconsensual brain piercing, slumps to the floor and begins pooling into black ichor like its comrades.
Griff immediately runs 30ft south toward the stair case, Ömertyr casts misty step on himself reappearing just behind sam, before running forward overtaking the half orc on the stairs.
This floor is clear of enemies, the threat to the group remains below.
As Sol walks through the open door downstairs he sees the mixing machines all around, on the opposite wall (west) to the entrance appears to be a large vault door behind which is likely the store room for the mornlyf. Oddly, a couple of sets of guard armour have been cast aside on his side of the room (south), but the main thing he sees is Mori, stood on a slightly raised platform to the north of the room, she is alone here, waiting, her skin looks stony and glistens with ice, there is a broken staff at her feet. Between Mori and Sol a veritable shower of mornlyf splits the room, trickling down from the cracks Muir put in the floor above. as soon as Sol sees her, Mori throws a mote of flame in his direction, which explodes at his feet ( dex save dc 17, 35 fire damage or half on save) Both Ömertyr and sam see Sol enter the room and then a blast of flame explode in the doorway.
Everyone is up! (Though i imagine this will likely be a round of dashing for most)
Sam rushes down after Sol, pulling up before he gets himself scalded by the flames if possible... If, after 30' of movement, he can see anyone besides the group then he will slam his maul against the floor or wall sending rippling waves of force at them (Eldritch Blast - Let me know if you need attack rolls) otherwise he just continues rushing forward (but not into the flames if it's a sustained thing) trying to catch up.
Mori. The traitor, the deceitful b*itch. Sol barely flinches as he feels the brunt of the fireball. Instead he transforms as he stands at the base of the stairs, heavenly golden wings form against his back and protrude through his armor. They give one full extension and the next they lift the aasimar into the air. As he flies up to get a better look at Mori, and he bellows at the woman, "YOU!! HOW DARE YOU BETRAY ALL THAT CALL SHENOH HOME. ALL THAT LIVE IN THAEIR, YOU HAVE FORSAKEN US ALL!!" Angry tears fill the man's eyes as he feels the fury well up in him.
"SURRENDER NOW." His voice stops thundering as he continues, emotion starting to leak it's way in, "You have deceived everything I hold true. You were my equal, my partner...but you... your very existence in a blight upon my devotion, Shenoh, to Vox.. to the light. All of it."
He raises his hands and cries out in a mixture of hurt, pain, frustration and anger, sending out a brilliant flash of sunlight centered so it covers all of Mori and just hits the spawn that is to his NW. CON save 20, or 44 radiant damage and blinded for 1 minute. (half if saved and not blinded) plus 5 radiant damage either way.
Seeing the last spawn dispatched, and Gewyn safe, brings a sigh of relief to Vin. Until he hears Sol bellowing and the explosion that is.
He calls Bry'ze with urgency in his tone, who dutifully zips out of their harness and manoeuvres between his legs, picking him up. Vin steers him down towards the door at the bottom of the stairs, slowly shifting his gravity as he spirals so that he ends up upside down looking through the door with plenty of cover from what is inside.
Seeing the spawn that ran away earlier, he wastes no time sending a couple ofbolts of force at it, trying to push it back into the shower of mornlyf to see the effect.
Neferox also hears Sol shout, and sees Vin descend into the staircase, and runs as fast as she can towards the stairs.

Gewyn pants as the spawn dissolves at his feet and then looks towards the stairs. He rolls his shoulder. Stiff. No time to catch his breath though.
“Spyro, to me!” He sheathes his weapons and starts plucking a tune on the cittern. He [spell]fly;rises from the ground and rolls lazily through the air as he soars quickly towards the stairs. “Onward to the next,” he says imbuing himself, Spyro, Muir, Vin, and Nef with a bolstering melody.

BA: Mantle of inspiration for 5 temp hp and reaction movement
Sam not being able to get fully down the stairs moves faster to get into the room a good 15ft, seeing the complicated obstacle course now unknowingly presented to them by Muir's previous idea. Mornlyf showers down in the center of the room making movement toward Mori difficult without dealing with immediate death.
Muir drops down from the ceiling and toward the top of the stairs with ease, where he waits for his friends, but as Gewyn makes a speedy flight down, accompanied by the floral dragonling, Muir is faced with the possibility of moving ahead and quickening his descent toward the action.
Griff utilises this gift, quickly heading toward the stairs wings outstretched he flies by gewyn and Spyro's side, ready to descend over the rails instead of down the actual staircase.
Ömertyr takes turn to run down stairs making it to the doorway, not wanting to block the remaining party members from entering he once again misty steps toward the center of the room just ahead of Sam.
The flash of bright light from Sol's spell consumes Mori fully for a moment, in that instant she is unobservable in the flash, but as it dissipates she stands seemingly untouched, unblinded. (Legendary resistance used), the spawn isn't so lucky as it is near vaporised by the sunburst but remains steadfast and blind.
Neferox follows the blue giantkin. Making it halfway down the stairs, vin hanging just over the doorframe is able to blast and hit backwards the spawn, killing it dead as it lands with a splash. A moment later as the spawn turns to ichor, its liquifying body mixes with the mornlyf and begins running down the drain to the south.
"AS IF I HAD A CHOICE!.." Mori shouts aggressively back at Sol. She casts another spell, but this one doesn't fire anything across the room. "...your blind devotion put you exactly in this situation. I was born into my prison Sol, the only difference between you and I, is that my eyes were open to the truth and your's were not.
I could not live if I didn't do what I had to, but you followed, YOU FOLLOWED ORDERS WITHOUT ANY THREAT UPON YOUR LIFE... Have you even stopped to wonder Sol? Why shenoh would allow and allocate resources to killing an entire race? HATE, that's the lie I perpetuated, and that's the lie YOU ACCEPTED! Your hate for me is simple deflection. You hate yourself because you cannot live with the truth of things you chose to do! We are not equals, I had no choice!"
To the group, it is jarring to see and hear someone speaking with the voice, the face and the body of Elthana, identical in every conceivable way. A faint shimmering surrounds her at a distance of around 10ft, like a very faint orb.
As Sam dashes past the floating Sol, past the machine to his right and up towards the platform avoiding the shower of mornlyf in the middle of the room, something moves as he passes. The discarded pile of armour behind the first machine fills instantly with that of some kind of air elemental and swings its flail at him as he passes. (26 to hit, 8 magical bludgeoning)
As the first springs to life it also activated it's accomplice in the south western corner. Two myrmidons dutifully enter the fray.
Vin watches through the doorway, his gravity still inverted so it looks like he is hanging upside down, and sees the myrmidon across the room to the west apparate as Sam charges north. He assumes from the timing it must be hostile and sends a pair of bolts of force at it, welcoming it to the party. He remains where he is for now, not wanting the whole party to cluster up and be susceptible to another fireball-like attack from Mori.
He tries to block out the familiarity of the voice of their adversary, glad he can't see who they are fighting for the moment. Knowing that Neferox will move into the room, he bolsters her defences.
Neferox lopes into the room and there is a brief glow around her, having seen Vin attack the myrmidon across from her. She waits, ready to bite out at anything that tries to get past her and out the room. She does see Mori, and register the fact that she looks and sounds identical to Elthana, but her focus remains on the task of not letting anything escape.

Before descending the stairs, Gewyn concentrates for a moment. His skin ripples and shifts, forming Elthana's appearance. He moves the cittern to his back. "Stay out of sight for now,"he says to Spyro. He then dismisses his flight, droppin down to the lower floor with one sword drawn. He recalls Elthana's body language. Thinking back to his sparring sessions with her, he emulates her fighting stance and movements as he comes into Mori's view.
"Born in you prison?" Gewyn/Elthana calls out mockingly. "I see no bars around you. No more than I see around myself. And yet look at where we are. No, I'm sorry Mori..." Elthana chuckles, perhaps at the rhyme. "... But you are just as guilty of using excuses to take the easy way out. There are two of us here. You and me. Except one of us won the fight against her cage, and the other surrendered. How then can you expect to win this fight?"Gewyn/Elthana laces his/words with twisted magics, distracting her with his vicious mockery while casting a hex
"Don't you turn this around and blame our Queen. She as well as the rest of us received her orders from Vox. We all know that we serve our God, don't tell me that I accepted Hate. YOU NEVER ONCE TOLD SHENOH THE TRUTH!! We could have been fighting this eons ago!! Before Nivara has summoned an immense army against us!! You could have fought along with us instead of feeding the enemy what they needed!! Don't tell me you didn't have a choice!! Actually, don't tell me anything! I don't want more lies!!!!"
Elthana suddenly appearing almost catches his attention, but Sol is so fixated on Mori it is more in the back of his mind. He is flying towards Mori as he says this, flying directly North as to avoid the deathly rain and ending up across from the vault door.
Vin's first blast hits the Myrmidon dead on and unfortunately garners it's attention, the second blast is batted away by it's magic flail, it prepares to attack (waiting for turn)
Gewyn's words in Elthana's voice hit home for Mori, though the psychic damage he wants to deliver falls short, he feels his hex spell also buffeted away by the faint shimmering sphere surrounding her. "I told you before Elthana, you had a choice..."
As sol screams out at Mori in anguish, she smirks, his hold person spell also disperses across the shimmering shield with no effect, "you tell me I had a choice, you don't even know what I am. Nivara's power over me means that she could end my existence at any moment with a mere thought. I couldn't have helped you if I tried... I still can't."
Looking back to the disgusted Gewyn she continues. "...You and I are world's apart. You don't know Nivara as much as you think you do. But as for your choice it seems you've made it. I warned you what would come next..." She kicks the broken staff off the platform she is on. It goes clattering along the floor. "Eight hundred thousand... That's how many were tied to this, how many spawn and vampire were hidden by this one staff, their false lives tied to it... Good luck getting Shenoh's help when she's busy killing the undead amongst her ranks. I gave you the choice Elthana. To take my life from me or leave me alone, I told you what the consequences would be... You chose this."
