As the dwarf clearly takes things irrationally out of proportion Sol furrows his eyebrows. He bends down and takes the bell but does nothing other than hold it.
"Yes, please point us to the stocks and as my associate has mentioned, what are the protocols in best disposing of the mornlyf? If you all help in this endeavor, I do not see your income changing as your work is continuing, just in a different direction. The direction Shenoh is requesting, and as you all know, her requests are followed, yes?" Sol holds steel in his voice now, the pleasantries only in his words, but not in his delivery. There is no question here.
Finally he looks at the bell and makes a quick decision, hoping he isn't going to regret this. He holds it out to the dwarf, "Here, lead your workers as you are paid to do. My friends here will assist, some need to dismantle the operations of creating the poison, and the rest to eliminate what you have in your vault. We are wasting time talking about this."
“You a worker or an owner?” Sam asks with a sneer, it quite obvious which he has disdain for. “Cause you whine like an owner…”
“A working man has half a brain. A working man knows the time, the effort… the WORK that’ll be needed to turn this place over from Morley production into being suitable for the making of anything safely ingest-able,” Sam continues. “The hard work and labor cleaning and purifying and retooling this place before it could ever produce anything else.”
“And to do it with minimal disruption and a quick turnaround?” Sam asks slyly. “We’re not talking regular hours… we’re talking overtime hours!” What worker doesn’t salivate at those two words?
“So stop your sniffling and pick up your little bell and you organize your men into a necessary and irreplaceable workforce… Or by Shenoh’s puckered ass we’ll find someone capable of the job and give them not only your he’ll but your ball sack to carry it in!”
The dwarf sneers at Sam's words, and more so at Sol's, he takes the bell back and grumbles. Moving into the middle of the room. "You're not wrong, it is a kind of ownership, but I'm not the one owning us, we are all tied to this bell, like the others are tied to her staff... She said something like this might happen." And as he says that he drops the bell on the floor, and stamps on it, crushing the small item into sharp pieces that cut into his boots and make his foot bleed over the floor. He immediately becomes paler, like someone has drawn all but the smallest amount of blood from his body. The shards of the bell glow and then fade as something is dispelled.
Each worker mingling through the group also pales and begins giggling, claws grow through their thick gloves and two teeth elongate in their mouths, they speaking in a frenzied manner, almost talking to themselves "she is coming/ we will feast/ death will never see our souls/ we will live forever/ SHE IS COMING!"
Each of the five workers now standing amongst the group attack.
One between Muir, Gewyn and Nef off to one side slashes out at the loxodon. (17 to hit, 14 slashing) Claws slash Muir's thick hide and the vampire spawn grapples him close sinking it's teeth into his neck (25 to hit, 6 peircing and 8 necrotic. Muir's max hp is reduced by that 8) it then, whilst still having Muir grappled moves 30ft up the wall toward the ceiling. (AoO for Nef if wanted)
The second closest to the door having made it's way behind the group launches itself at Nef, claws out (10 to hit) it cant seem to get a grasp in Neferox and attempts another slash (26 to hit, 12 slashing) but fails to grapple her
The third wedged nearly between Sam and Sol goes for it's better known target and slashes out at the Golden skinned advisor (11 to hit) its claws get caught in its own clothing and so it tears out with its other hand instead (22 to hit, 8 slashing) grappling Sol as it does.
Vampire spawn 4 also next to Sol does the same attempting to inflict more damage than it's failure of a counterpart, but only does slightly more damage as it similarly fails its first slash bouncing off Sol's armour (14 to hit) and slashing into his bald head with it's second slash. (18 to hit, 9 slashing)
The last spawn between Vin and Nef (to the north) attacks Vin. One claw comes crashing down on the boy (20 to hit, 11 slashing damage) and grapples him, whilst the spawn dives at his neck for a bit attack only managing to fill it's mouth with Vin's cloak (10 to hit)
The gaunt dwarf does nothing but chuckle (as he has used his action to smash the bell)
(Vin, Sol, and Muir, the DC to escape grapple is 15)
"Nobody kills Muir except for Ratatouille," Sam mumbles under his breath and stamps his foot! As he does so a concussive wave travels across the floor of the factory and throws the second vampire attack on Muir off. Instead of sinking their teeth into Loxodon meat, the vampire instead tastes it's closest kin... ((Negating the second attack on Muir which reduced his max HP and having it happen to random vamp instead via Sam's Cloud Rune feature... Reaction used.))
Not surprised at all about this sudden but inevitable betrayal, Sam lets out a bored sigh and then gets to work. He has done what he can for Muir and no other teammates are in danger and immediately nearby... But Sol may actually be on their side. Or just still hiding their betrayal. Hard to tell. They are the one that walked the group into this trap. Still...
Sam grapples Sol and moves them five feet counter-clockwise, effectively tearing him out of the grip of the vampire grappling them. ((Weird rules thing but RAW, as I understand it, says forced movement breaks a grapple. So Sol can choose to fail any save vs Sam's grapple and allow themselves to be moved out of the vampire grapple... First attack as part or Sam's action.))
Sam then grips up his maul and starts swinging...
Maul Attack vs closest vampire: Attack: 21 Damage: 14 ((Magical Bludgeoning damage... Second attack from his action.))
Sam then burns his Action Surge to swing more and hopefully tilt things in their favor quickly, getting two more attacks...
Maul Attack vs closest vampire: Attack: 30 Damage: 23 ((Magical Bludgeoning damage... First attack from his Action Surge.))
Maul Attack vs closest vampire: Attack: 15 Damage: 19 ((Magical Bludgeoning damage... Second attack from his Action Surge.))
Though even while swinging for all he is worth, a part of Sam is holding back. It was stressed time and time again that they weren't to kill the workers or destroy the building so Sam is only using non-lethal maul attacks.

As the workers suddenly mutate and attack, Neferox wastes no time getting into the fight, her head flicking around aiming her powerful jaws at the one who is attempting to drag Muir away. Vin also reacts, seeing Neferox taking damage and using their bond to help her resist it.
Vin grunts as he too is hit with raking claws and also held firm, and decides it is a good time to get out of harms way. Using the magic Gewyn cast into his ring he teleports away up to the gangway above. He then lets fly a pair of bolts of force towards the worker attacking Neferox, looking to focus their fire.
For her part, Neferox spins around and bites out at the one that clawed her, growling furiously as she does.

Gewyn begins to strum louder and faster now, letting the music crest. He weaves the sound around himself, right in the middle of the battlefield, twisting the energies of those nearby.
(Enthralling performance requires a dc 16 wis save from all enemies, otherwise they are charmed by me for an hour or until they take damage or see me attack their allies)
(Mantle of inspiration gives 5 temp hp and movement as a reaction with no AoO to Vin, Nef, Muir, Sol, and Sam)
As the workers morph into the unholy undead, Sol is almost stunned. Hearing it come from the outsiders that this was happening was one thing, but for it to occur right in front of him was quite another. Undead? Eluding the grace of death?? Oh Vox.. please forgive all of us in our complacency. He prays.
He is brought back to himself as Sam pulls him out of the grasp of one of the vampires, the claws scrapping his skin barely noticed. He is about to thank the man when he sees that Sam is holding back and hitting them unlethally! "Sam! These abominations must die! Undead is.. well... the scourge of all!!"
With that he raises his Sun Staff high above his head and channels his divinity. The top of the staff glows brightly and every undead within 30 feet of him need to roll a WIS save of 18 or receive 19 radiant damage and be turned, using their full movement to get away from Sol. (Half if saved and doesn't have the frightened condition).
"If you hit one, they will no longer flee, but they shall not be allowed to leave this room! Eliminate them all! Do not try to charm them... please."
As Sam wrestles the Aasimar advisor from the grasp of the vampire spawn, his reflexive swing at the assailant goes wide. Bolstering himself with a surge of energy though, Sam's next two hits find their mark quieting the babbling spawn but not enough to bloody the creature.
Neferox reflexively bites back at the spawn climbing away with Muir but cannot get enough of a grip on the undead thing to knock it prone. Turning her attention to the spawn actively attacking her she bites at it twice, knocking it on its ass with her first sucessful hit and tearing further into it with the second.
Vin, cleverly disappearing from the grasp of the spawn that has him reappears on the gangway and attacks back, both his shots hitting their mark, but these spawn seem hardy.
Gewyn's melody vibrates through the room, his resonance being picked up and amplified as he finds the tone which best reflects his notes back to him from the crystal that this room is carved from, all spawn aside from the one who's face is embracing Sam's maul and the second spawn who attacked Sol, become charmed by gewyn.
As Sol warns of the undead and decrees their fate, He raises his Sun staff high attempting to turn all the spawn in sight, each and every one of them scream out as they become wreathed in radiant flame damaging them but also distracting them from the enchanting nature of Gewyns melody, the one spawn nearest the door takes the brunt of the damage and is visibly bloodied by the onslaught and afraid.
Muir breaks free of his captor and is able to use the movement granted to him by Gewyn to escape, running up the wall and along over the ceiling toward the middle of the room
Griff with no one attacking him takes flight and something within him takes over, whether it is training or duty, not even he knows, but he instinctually begins attacking to protect the highest authority in the room, Sol. firing two arrows at the spawn that sam is bashing, one strikes true and as it does bursts into lightning which crackles over the spawn's body (24 to hit, 5 piercing 7 lightning)
Omertyr takes a step forward and as he does he forms cloud around his hands twisting them back and forth before shooting them forward toward the door, He raises a wall of ice covering the door and most of the wall, the one spawn that was closest to the door gets shunted away from it and as the ice pushes it freezes the spawn solid and it shatters across the floor as it falls, the second spawn on the wall which had had hold of muir also gets shunted off, the ice freezing its back and tearing great sawthes of skin off as it also falls to the ground bloodied.
The blue dwarf tuts at his fallen comrade and then sets his eyes on Sam, "ownership... you know Shenoh must have loved you and your big mouth hm? surprised you left that place alive.. I bet youd give anything to tell her what you really think about her, Huh?" his words laced with charm and magic sam feels the beginning of a compulsion as the dwarf begins casting a spell, but as of right now has not completed it, he takes a step or two back keeping sam in range but as far as possible.
The bloodied spawn behind Nef attacks her with two claw attacks (16 to hit, 15 slashing, 17 to hit, 15 slashing)
Sam sees the spawn in front of him is bloodied and like a cornered animal it strikes out first with a claw attack (18 to hit, 9 slashing) grappling him in the process and taking advantage of that moment to bite into sam's throat (8 to hit) but it cannot find purchase as it tries in vain to get around a set of bronzed hag horns upon Sam's pauldron.
the one spawn between Omertyr and Nef takes two wild swipes at the cloud giant, the first swipe hits slashing across Omertyr's stomach and the second one seems to pass straight through the cloud giant's body as he reacts to the pain. (10 dam)
the last spawn still seeming pretty healthy takes a 5ft step away from Nef (AoO) and instead targets the bard, swiping at gewyn in an attempt to get him to stop playing, (13 to hit, 7 slashing) and with Gewyn grappled it goes in for the bite, (19 to hit, 7 piercing, 11 necrotic and reducing gewyns max hp by 11) the spawn seems releived of the wounds it already had aquired as gewyns blood begins to nourish it.
Sam Arcana check to put 2 and 2 together and know the blue dwarf is responsible for the googly feeling coming over him: 4 Sam knows nothing...
Sam hears the annoying dwarf foreman muttering on but, giving them a quick glance, Sam sees them edging backwards. Further away. Coward, Sam thinks to himself and decides he is harmless. Or can at least wait for now. Shaking his head to clear the wave of... something... that hit him, Sam focuses instead of the dirty bastard bloodsuckers instead.
"We can kill them now, eh?" Sam asks Sol. Without waiting for confirmation Sam embiggens and grows large. (Bonus Action - Giant's Might.)
Looking for a target Sam first spies the bloodied (unbloodied?) vampire near him and gets his maul a-working! If the first blow happens to squash the gnat he moves north to the next alive ankle-biter. (So 1 square north... but if both get killed Sam keeps moving up to the one near Gewyn even if he has no actions left.)
First Maul Attack: 18 to hit for 28 magical bludgeoning damage plus 6 from Giant's Might.
Second Maul Attack: 20 to hit for 27 magical bludgeoning damage...
After all the waiting around in hiding over the last few hours, Neferox is enjoying the simple ferocity of the fight. So given the opportunity to clamp her jaws down on another worker is not rejected. As it moves towards Gewyn, she bites out. But that is followed by a yelp-like growl as her back is raked by claws. Fortunately her natural resistance deflects a portion of the harm.
Vin sees and hears Neferox once again struck and now bloodied, and once more doubles down and throws another two bolts of force towards this new target.
"Tough buggers!", Vin mutters under his breath.
For her part, Neferox once again spins around and bites out at the one that clawed her.
Neferox
Reaction: Opportunity bite attack on one attacking Gewyn - To Hit: 20+7=27 [crit], Damage: 2+4+4+6+6=24 [magical piercing] - if hits target has to succeed on a DC 17 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Vin
Action: Eldritch Blast the one attacking Neferox Blast 1 - To Hit: 10+9=19, Damage 10+5=15 [force] Blast 2 - To Hit: 7+9=16, Damage 4+5=9 [force]

Bite 2 - To Hit: 10+7=17, Damage: 4+6+6=6 [magical piercing] - if hits target has to succeed on a DC 17 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
The spawn in front of Sam crumples under his maul upon the second swing.
The spawn stepping away from neferox takes a massive amount of damage from her but is not bloodied, it is knocked probe but uses it's movement to get back up and complete it's attack on gewyn (reaction on hostiles turn)
As vin blasts the spawn attacking neferox from the rear, both his blasts land and explode the vampire spawns head.
(Diverting neferox's attacks to the one in front of her instead) both bites hit pushing the spawn in front prone for now, though it doesn't look bloodied at all.
Escaping along the ceiling, Muir thinks to himself oh what a feeling to be dancing on the ceiling....although he's not much of dancer. He snaps back to reality and the fight at hand. He decides he should keep the boss occupied and not focused on his friends. What better time to call one of his friends. He summons a giant scorpion near the foreman and attacks. Muir moves back towards the group and bonus action hides along the ceiling using his mantle (23 stealth)
Claw attack 1: 21hit 4 damage DC 12 save to break the grapple
Claw attack 2: 14hit 7 damage DC 12 save to break the grapple
Stinger attack: Crit damage 18 DC 12 con save or 11 poison 1/2 on a save
Hearing the foreman start to cast a spell, Sol smiles as he sees the giant scorpion attack. He then concentrates on the dwarf himself. Casting hold person with a DC WIS save of 20.
Raising his hands towards the ceiling of the place above where the dwarf stands, Sol casts forth dawn, bringing in a column of sunlight over the dwarf, and away from the giant scorpion. CON save of 20 or 18 radiant damage.
As the vampire grabs Gewyn, he screams in terror. Or, is he cackling. The teeth sink eagerly into his neck, and pass through a cloud of ash.Nothing more than an afterimage. From the midst of that ash cloud, Spyro streaks forward, now visible, to breath a confusing fog over the vampire.
At the same time, Gewyn appears behind Sam and Sol. He strums a piercing Tri-tone chord and then lightly slaps Sam’s back, casting protection from evil and good
”Dont let the foreman get in your head,” he says, as his magics work to buffer Sam from the influence of undead magic
as Muir stealths along the ceiling ending up over near Gewyn, His giant scorpion hits with hits first claw attack, though the damage it does seems to be mostly shrugged off by the dwarf, it is however successful in grappling him and slamming its stinger under the dwarf's sallow skin to deliver its poison.
Sol's bright column of sun descends narrowly missing the Giant scorpion, Thought the dwarf stands tall, bracing successfully through the radiant damage the tips of his beard and his extremities do catch with radiant flame. (saved)
As Gewyn disappears, the small faerie dragon left in place breathes a floral scented dragons breath over the offending vampire spawn. (spawn failed saving throw) the spawn looks around blinking at the light but all hostility seems to have left it.
Griff takes two pot shots at the now confused spawn that Gewyn just left, one arrow strikes true and bloodies the confused Spawn.
Ömertyr, happy with his ice wall, turns his attention on the scene, the nearest spawn is within arms reach, the giant chuckles and grabs the spawn in one meaty hand (spawn failed save) with seemingly no real thought to it, Ömertyr launches the spawn at the southern wall as if he was pitching for the outfields, winding up and letting loose. The spawn sails through the air, meeting the wall with a meaty slap where it drops prone, bloodied, but still breathing.
The one confused spawn, so effected by the enchantment magic within spyro's breath takes no actions, and instead runs aimlessly, heading toward the middle of the room (AoO for Spyro and Neferox if wanted.)
The prone spawn gets up and starts heading down the stairs that the dwarf first came up before the spell bell was broken and their undead form revealed, it dashes to get out of sight of the group.
The sounds of scraping, slamming, and rumbling comes from the other side of the ice wall as more spawn, those workers the group heard in the rooms above, try to get in. One, two, three, four attacks is all it takes to bring a door sized hole in the ice wall come crumbling down and in its place is a sheet of frigid air, through which four more vampire spawn enter the fray, each one of them taking some degree of cold damage from the frigid air as they move in, (all failed their con save)
Two with attacks left, the northern most one and the southern most, attack the enemies they see in front of them. Neferox to the north takes a claw attack (16 to hit, 13 slashing damage) and is grappled as the spawn tries to bite (13) but cannot clamp its jaw properly due to the stiffness from the cold damage it just acquired. Ömertyr to the south gets clawed once again (11 dam) but as the spawn strikes out for a second time Ömertyr again dissolves his body to mist around the spawns claw causing it to pass through him without issue.
The blue dwarf, thoroughly not enjoying radiant damage and not wanting to be held here by giant scorpion claws any longer, gives up on his attempted domination of Sam's mind and instead dissolves into a red mist which travels forward, passing through the scorpion and towards the rafters, where it passes through vin too before reassembling itself into the blue dwarf, as the mist passes through vin he feels his very blood being drawn from his body in microscopic droplets shedding out of his skin and being consumed by the mist. (Giant scorpion and Vin make DC18 Con save or take 30 necrotic damage, half on save)
As the blue dwarf stands next to vin he calls out to Ömertyr in giant, Ömertyr grabs his head trying to resist something, but a moment later has summoned a cloud like flail in his hand and swings it at Sam, but misses, before his senses return to him.
One spawn has escaped to the lower level and more have shown up, Everyone who wants to can give me a free action active perception check, Everyone is up!
Neferox can't believe her luck when yet another spawn turns its back on her. She snaps at its heels just like the others. But that is once again followed by more pain as the icy barrier across the door is broken and more of the creatures enter, with one managing to claw her once again. Her natural resistance deflects a portion of the harm but she is looking really hurt now, with blood leaking from multiple wounds.
Vin is too startled to cry out in pain as the mist passes through him and seems to absorb his blood. He goes deathly pale for a moment and looks visibly gaunt. Seeing the cause of the pain reform right next to him, he takes a risk and steps away. The dwarf uses the opportunity to strike out hard, and he grunts in pain, but it doesn't stop him. He then concentrates on the magic within him as the vision Morris showed him taught him. Almost quicker than he would have thought possible, he sends four beams of fire at the dwarf, followed by another two bolts of force. With the last blast he puts all his energy into forcing the dwarf away and off the gangway, even drawing on his divine favour to ensure he strikes true.
"Just get away from me and die!!", Vin calls out at the dwarf.
Neferox finds herself grappled but twists around and sees another four of the creatures have entered the fight. She opens her maw emitting a stream of flame covering as many as possible.

“So stop your sniffling and pick up your little bell and you organize your men into a necessary and irreplaceable workforce… Or by Shenoh’s puckered ass we’ll find someone capable of the job and give them not only your he’ll but your ball sack to carry it in!”
Sol does everything in his power not to drop his jaw at Sam talking about Shenoh's puckered ass.
The dwarf sneers at Sam's words, and more so at Sol's, he takes the bell back and grumbles. Moving into the middle of the room. "You're not wrong, it is a kind of ownership, but I'm not the one owning us, we are all tied to this bell, like the others are tied to her staff... She said something like this might happen." Using the magic Gewyn cast into his ring he teleports away up to the gangway above.

Sam Arcana check to put 2 and 2 together and know the blue dwarf is responsible for the googly feeling coming over him: 4
Sam knows nothing...
Neferox

Casting hold person with a DC WIS save of 20.Raising his hands towards the ceiling of the place above where the dwarf stands, Sol casts forth dawn, bringing in a column of sunlight over the dwarf, and away from the giant scorpion.
"There's nothing in my head!" Sam shouts out in retort to Gewyn without thinking... obviously. Sam's attention is more on their foes.
Muir toots out his trunk from the ceiling at Sam's....retort
as Muir stealths along the ceiling ending up over near Gewyn, His giant scorpion hits with hits first claw attack, though the damage it does seems to be mostly shrugged off by the dwarf, it is however successful in grappling him and slamming its stinger under the dwarf's sallow skin to deliver its poison.
