“I meet Goodall if she enters with her own knob. Sometimes she’s there, sometimes she’s not. I never know. This time I was fortunate to find her there sleeping but her time was brief. Remember we were catapulted out one time for staying too long? It happened to her. As for the fruit she wants to know what any of us know. I didn’t have a chance to tell her anything as she was catapulted out.”
"Well I can assure you I know nothing regarding the fruit. I had all but forgotten it, in truth. We happened upon the overturned cart on our way back, looked like there had been a struggle or such. Was there any fruit left to recover, even? Though I do recall the crates had a guild stamp upon them... Though I don't recall which guild's?" Sam answers.
"The others are in Ginro's pocket thingy though. You may be able to gather more from them if you catch them before they go to sleep..."
“I’ll let them tell Goodall themselves if they wish to partake in the group speak. If that’s all then Sam I will join the others” with that Muir bows to them both and if there’s nothing else he will touch the orb
As Muir touches the orb he disappears, no lurching in the stomach, no nauseous feeling. Reappearing on the other side he is greeted by a domed room, not very large but big enough to accommodate several cloud beds, one for every member of the group including Neferox and spyro who seems to have been allocated circular ones. Neferox lounges upon the large circular bed, Vin reading a book upon the bed next to Nef. Gewyn has also just arrived and the group watch Elthana move to a curved table along one of the walls and begin looking through papers there, though the words on the diagram frustratingly elude her.
Muir enters the room in the orb "Hello There, Sam will not be joining us. He doesn't trust the orb or Ginro or something else, I am not sure. I did try to persuade him to come in. I apologized for my line of questioning when we were alone but that did nothing as he ignored it. I also want to apologize to you all for my behavior here. I am trying to put everything behind me that has happened here and return to my normal self. So how may I be of service before we sleep? Oh goodness....I forgot to mention I entered my tree and spoke briefly with Goodall. The cleric's of Hermes are on the march and the cavalcade have sent out troops to parlay, they should meet in Trundlesten in around four days time. We suspect Gore is being mind controlled through the fruit that was left in Hokum. At some point Goodall would like to speak to us all about the fruit. I did not have a chance to tell her because she was pulled out of the tree....her time was up....So how may I be of service?"
Vin briefly looks up from his book, and the others can see his eyelids half closed. He has been struggling to read whilst he waits for whatever needs to happen for them to start getting proper rest.
"Glad to hear that Muir. I think we should focus on resting though, rather than being of service or figuring stuff out. We will likely come to better decisions with fresh minds", he replies. "Do we just go to sleep now we are all here?", he asks, not addressing the other elephant in the room, and their reasons for not joining them all here.
Elthana looks up and smiles at Muir as he enters, papers in hand. "Well our clever friend Ginro has left us with what looks like plans for the phylactory! Though I would agree with Vin... rest before anything else. But I'm hoping you can read these things, as it completely eludes me." she adds to Muir.
Yawning, she sets down the papers and climbs into one of the beds. "Also, remember that Nivara is always listening, though.. I don't think she'll care about what is going on back on our plane. Four days our time or their time?" She lays down, exhaustion washing over her.
"Hmmm, I too would like to know more about this fruit and why interest keeps looping back around to them," Gewyn says, reclining in one of the cloud beds and flipping casually through his new book. "I like less and less the idea of others using them for human plots. The fae magic of those fruits does not belong to the people of their plane."
“Agreed…Gore is under its spell and we can only assume the clerics somehow gave it to him. Who knows what they’ve done to the fae portal….” Muir says from his bed
Muir wakes up feeling refreshed a bit wiser after the trauma of this realm. "Good Morning Vincent! You look well this morning. Ooh sorry you are reading...What are you reading? Oh sorry I disturbed you twice." Muir bows to Vin apologetically and goes to look at the papers Elthana was stressing over the night before and leave Vin to it.
As people wake up to find Vin studying once more, and Muir looking over the papers, you all indeed do feel refreshed, though with no change in the lighting of the room, nor any change in the room itself, it is impossible to tell exactly how much time has passed.
Neferox wakes as Vin does but doesn't take any initiative to move around or begin the day at all. Spyro on the other hand pads nervously around the foot od Elthana's bed, stretching and yawning, eager to hear if Elthana had a nightmare again or not, and hoping for the latter.
Muir looks through the papers, an annotated design showing the dimensions of a perfectly cuboid box, the annotations in auran become clear to him as he reads. (Info in channel)
"It's the book Ginro gave me", Vin replies to Muir absently. He doesn't seem concerned at all that they appear to be stuck in this room with no way to know how long it has been or when they will get out. He is happily consumed by his reading.
Muir nods and leaves Vin to it seemingly not wanting to be disturbed....Not waiting for the others to wake up he speaks loudly to wake them up or if they are up so they can hear him
"This box seems to be the phylactery but I cannot make out these symbols. The rest I can read and make out. The annotations outline material compositions of inside and outside of the box, the enchantments included to strengthen the box, and there is an arcane lock, but there are these symbols which mark how to open the box which I cannot arrange to make sense. It's not a language nor are they arcane symbols, it's almost like these symbols are a puzzle that need to be arranged perhaps, one of you could give it a go?"
Elthana wakes with a start, eyes open wide... and seeing Spyro right in front of her bed, she gives a small cry of surprise before realizing who it is and visibly relaxing. She sits up, wraps her arms around her knees, pulling them to her chest and takes a look around the room. She sees that Sam isn't there and sighs, though she isn't really surprised.
She is quiet as she notices Vin reading again, Muir pouring over the papers and Gewyn still sleeping. She smiles down at Spyro, hoping she didn't frighten him away with her start of waking up. She yawns and asks, "A puzzle? So your ability to read any language helped some, but not all? Well.. better than I could do."turning to the student, she asks, "Vin, are you any good at puzzles?"
Muir startled a bit and turns to look at what he hears as a ruckus and sees Elthana waking “Oh dear, pardon my jumpiness…how did you sleep? I did not hear any yelling or screaming throughout our sleep.”
Elthana shrugs. "Not good. Nightmare involving my... well Nivara's mother and Nivara, but at least it was all mine. No outside influence. So.." she shrugs, "could have been a lot worse." she attempts a smile.
"What? Oh, puzzles. I enjoy a puzzle, but I am not sure I would claim to be good at them. Perhaps you could show me, Muir", he says, placing the book down on the bed, upside down and open to the pan he was up to.

Group speak? Sam wonders to himself but doesn’t question it aloud, instead allowing Muir to move on to his rest…
"Four days their time, so that allows us some time to get back" Muir responds as he finds a place to lay down

Vin falls into a deep sleep pretty much as soon as his head touches the cloud pillow, his book open on his chest.
When he wakes up, his mind feels so much clearer.
Depending on who is awake and what they are doing, he will greet them quietly and then bury his head back in the book.
Muir wakes up feeling refreshed a bit wiser after the trauma of this realm. "Good Morning Vincent! You look well this morning. Ooh sorry you are reading...What are you reading?
