Peotyr takes a sip from his coffee. "I guess enough to call it an infestation. When I went last, I wasn't able to see any, so I couldn't tell you the kind. But considering that my daughter has only seen them at night, that suggests they might be nocturnal. Or allergic to the sunlight." He scratches his chin. "As for what they want, I would assume food, because that's what they've been stealing. Could be for something else, but it's unclear what other uses they'd have for corn and livestock..."
(ooc: sorry for not posting for a few days! The past few days have been quite busy.)
Vyranorae raises an eyebrow at Aaron and shakes his head. "I disagree with your philosophy of courage, courage isn't knowing when to take a life, you're right about that, it is staring into the unknown, not knowing what will befall you, not knowing... anything, and then taking the leap, blindly. That's courage." Vyranorae goes back to his coffee.
"She hasn't had a problem until recently. It's been happening for a week or so, so I doubt that they've had a chance to really establish themselves in a way that'll make them hard to remove. It doesn't matter how you go about solving the problem, as long as my daughter and her crops are safe." Peotyr sips his coffee again. "Perhaps, once we finish these," he lifts up his coffee mug, "We could talk more on the way there? That is, if you are taking the job."

"Well you need someone to show you where it is. Also, I don't think she would appreciate it if a group of strangers came walking up to her doorstep one day at random." You can see Peotyr blush a little as he continues sheepishly, "I also would like to see my daughter. I'm coming with you!" With excitement, he chugs the rest of his coffee and rushes off to the other room. The sound of clattering and crashing follows him as he rushes back into the parlor, his apron gone to reveal a simple, dirty white tunic and brown trousers and work boots. With a huff, he falls back down on his chair, satisfied.

“Maybe, if you give us a letter or a token to show your daughter that you send us to her, that might be a safer workaround instead of coming along with us?”
"True, true. How about this: We take a look at the goblins and then dad and daughter both come and stay here while we deal with the infestation? They get to hang out, and we can take care of the goblins without having to worry."
Vyranorae sips his coffee and watches the scene unfold.

(Ditto, my job’s been kind of hectic.)
”Perhaps they want information for a member of their clan?” Aaron suggests.

"I don't care what they want." Vyranorae says softly. "We should just go ahead and wipe them out."
"Courage is not knowing when to take a life," Aaron replies. "But when to spare one. Do any of you speak Gobeldegook?"

"Have you had problems with Goblins in the past, or is this more recent? Perhaps there is a way to solve this without too much blood shed?"
Vyranorae shakes his head. "Goblins are not diplomatic, the only sane answer is to make a preemptive strike."

Aryn’s ears perk up. “You’re coming with us?”
“I have to agree with Aaron, we should try to settle this with as little violence as possible.”

"Aww but look how excited he is. What if he just gets us as far as his daughters place and stays with her while we deal with the goblins."
Aryn grins. The man did look very eager.
