"Well, if she insists that we stay in her home, I won't ignore that and drive her back here. But I'll keep the two of us out of your way, so you can do the job. I'm all for it!" The half-elf stands up once more, walking into a hallway. Just before he disappears, he turns to face you all again. "Let me just get my horses ready, it'll be just a few minutes. I'll be just right out the door at the end of the hallway, and down the stairs, if you need me. If you could put your cups anywhere in the kitchen over there," he points to the room he ran into previously, "once you're done, that would be much appreciated. Excuse the mess." With a bow of the head, he rushes through the hallway to get everything in order, leaving you alone in the parlor.

"If they are in some kind of cave or nest we could just set the whole place ablaze, its a moraly dubious choice but an effective one but i would prefer trying to figure out why they are stealing the nearby farms and then solving that problem"
"Yeah, let's keep the burning them all as a last resort. Perhaps we can capture a scout, or lure just a couple out of hiding and see if they can be persuaded to talk."
After a few minutes, Peotyr pops his head into the parlor again. "I'm all ready over here. I just finished hitching up the horses to the wagon, and we should be good to go. Come, follow me." He leads you to a modest wooden wagon, pulled by a single horse. He sits on the coach box as you pile into the wagon. "Are we all ready? Let's go." With two clicks and a snap of the reins, you start your short journey over to Peotyr's daughter's farm.
An hour or two of riding through the picturesque countryside, and you arrive at the front of a big countryside house. Exposed wood grain walls and many, many raised garden beds and window boxes make the house feel open, naturalesque. The dirt pathway leading up to the front door crunches beneath your feet as you make your way up to the front door. Peotyr excitedly knocks on the door, and after a few seconds it's answered by a tall wood elf woman. "Dad!" she exclaims, rushing forward and scooping up his relatively tiny frame into a great hug. "What brings you here? I see you brought friends; come on in!" Dropping him, the elf motions you inside her home. A simple, airy white blouse and a green prairie skirt flows with her wide movements as she strides into a large kitchen. There are a few seats at a dining table in the center of the room and a single wooden countertop lining the room on two walls. She leans back, elbows resting on the counter, and addresses all of you as you make your way inside. "I'm Saeora. It's nice to meet you. I assume you all are here for to help me with the goblins? They're starting to become a real problem."

"Pleasure to meet you Saeora, the name is Marbin, and we are hoping to help with this Goblin situation. What can you tell us about the goblins? Anything that helps deal with them without casualties is a great help."
"Pleased to meet ya, Marbin and company. I really do appreciate the help, even though I can handle this myself," Saeora shoots Peotyr a quick look as she says this. "These goblins only really attack at night, and they only really go for corn and cows. They tried a pig once, but they left them alone after that. They don't come near the barn I have out back, and they don't come near the house either." She's been counting the things she's noticed on her fingers. Having put up all five fingers on one hand, she switches to the other. "I've been able to follow the trail of corn they leave back to their little cave, an' they only take the corn and cows that're closest to it." She looks back at the rest of you. "That's all I know."
Eir, looking around reveals nothing. There's not a single scratch anywhere around the house, on the outside or inside.

"Alrighty. Just let me get my gun, and I'll be right out." Saeora pushes herself up and leaves you in the room. The brief silence is interrupted after a few minutes by the sound of a gunshot, and a few seconds later the elf comes out with a rifle in her hand. "It works," she chides with a smile. "Let's get this show on the road!" She strides to a large screen door next to the kitchen counter, opening it with a bang.
Her heeled boots crunch the dirt underneath as she announces, "We've arrived!" It took only a twenty minute walk in full sun to get to the destination. The gaping mouth of the cave looks ominous enough illuminated in bright sunlight, and the stalagmites and stalactites forming teeth at the cave's mouth isn't helping. A small chittering noise echoes from the depths within. Looking down on the ground reveals a much more grotesque version of the old Hansel-and-Gretel breadcrumb trail: a trail of blood, corn, and the occasional small pile of carrion lead into the cave. The smell is bad enough out in the open air, but you have a feeling the smell is only gonna get worse from here. A light breeze alleviates the senses for a second, and Saeora comments, "This nasty cave is only the beginning. I've tried going down there, but the smell and the sounds and the dampness gets to be too much for me. There are really dark tunnels going deep underground, too. Y'all's better be careful, hopefully you brought some perfume and a handkerchief, or at least a light."

Vyranorae, upon entering the cave the smell gets ten times worse, assaulting your senses like nothing you've ever smelled before. It makes your eyes water, causing you to trip a few times as you walk down into the cavern's gaping maw.
"Please be careful!" Saeora shouts after you. She pulls out an apron that's been stuffed in the pocket of her skirt, and ties it around her nose and mouth creating a mask. Her voice sounds half muffled as she adds to the rest of you, "I'll go in after all of you, as far down as I can."

Mazorn put his cup in the kitchen like the half-elf said. “So how are we going to get rid of the goblins?”

Vyranorae stands, "Show us the cave. We will do the rest."

Marbin pulls out a torch "How discreet are we trying to be? Should I light this thing.."
"Go ahead and light it, I'll start down." Vyranorae makes his way down the cave 30 feet, I am going to make a Stealth check.
Stealth: 6
I have disadvantage so this is the disadvantage roll: 16
If it says that the post has potentially manipulated die roll it is because I forgot to add the modifier and tried to edit it in, whoops.
