Alright, keep it distracted. Let Cob blast away. Eremoz takes a deep breath, pushing out his arms and chest. He makes himself as big as he can to make some room. Dropping his right foot back, Eremoz drops into a lunge, using his arms to push against the statue and hopefully breaking its grip.
With a mighty blast, the statue shatters, but most of it still remains tightly gripping Eremoz. You wince a little as the blast doesn't only affect the statue but also Eremoz. When you fly up, you can see Drexon looking at you and trying to get your attention from the roof of the manor.
Eremoz, you grunt as the blast from Cob hit not only the statue but also you and push the statue away before it can tighten its grasp on you and do more harm. Unfortunately, the statue immediately grasps you again after you got out. It appears to still be very mobile and strong despite its falling-apart form.
With no other recourse open to them beyond destroying the statue, Drexon reaches out with his hand and a spectral replica appears and attempts to clutch the remaining portion of the statue.
Movement: Getting into range Action: Cast Chill Touch on statue. To Hit: 20+7=27 [crit], Damage: 3+7=10 [necrotic] - Can't regain hit points until Drexon's next turn
As the spectral hand passes through Eremoz and the statue, you see a spectral figure being torn away from the statue. It is a figure that you can barely see if not for its thrashing. It actually resembles the figure you first encounter during your journey together, almost transparent and intangible, but more haggard and incomplete looking. After a few moment, the statue crumbles to the ground and the spectral figure dissipates into the air.
With Dvark and Karm in the manor, you both see the continuation of Fenton's speech.
"It may be hard to perceive for newcomers like you," Fenton replies to Karm. "Mantagard used to be strong. Not many know this, but the Guilleman family used to be from Mantagard before we were ousted for supporting the republic. We were not always called Guilleman, you see. But, my ancestors cast their nobility and name when they left for Timaril. No matter. I am not here to air past grievances. I am here offering a future and it starts with deposing our mayor and redistributing the wealth that the very owner of this house has coveted."
"Wait, what?" Leillana gasped in surprise. "This is not what we agreed on."
"I think everyone here can agree with me when we say that you are part of the problem, Leillana," Fenton says. Without realizing it, some of the guests nod in agreement. "I can forgive some of the houses for their ability to evolve and move on to the modern age, but you are not one of them. Snobbish, spoiled, weak-willed. After all, you willingly made a deal with me to depose your own daughter and take the wealth of the Clarent for your own enjoyment. Will Mantagard become a better place if people like our mayor and you just... disappear?"
With the Statue now destroyed, Drexon waves at Cob and Eremoz and then puts his finger to his lips and then two fingers to his eyes and points down into the house. Finally he beckons then over and taps his temple.
Whilst the others are hopefully moving, he telepathically speaks to Lady Selena, "We will lose contact shortly, is there any more you can tell me that might help?".
As all this is happening, he keeps an eye out for anyone in gold cloaks that might see him, Cob or Eremoz.
"I don't think there's anything I can offer more," Zelena says. "I didn't think someone would be brave enough to topple the peace and stability of the city like this. The repercussion would be severe to the city and House Clarent. Have you contacted anyone outside? The perimeter guards? The city guards that should be patrolling the streets? The Barony?"
Cob and Eremoz, both of you can see movement behind the manor's front door. Through the window beside the door, you can see that a few people are patrolling around wearing gold cloaks. To the left side, you notice the house is overhanging a little above the lake and there are a few climbable steps if you wish to climb to the roof. To the right side, in the direction of the sunroom, you can see no discernable way to get to the roof if you so wish. Still, there is a slightly raised dirt bed that seems to be an outdoor extension of the sunroom and can be used as a step to see into the manor better while still keeping a low profile.
Cob points up to where Drexon is and nods at Eremoz before he flies up to see what Drexon has discovered. As he flies up, he takes a look for any house guards that aren't incapacitated, or any of the personal guards of any of the dignitaries inside. If nothing else they'll be useful distractions.
Cob, Drexon, and Eremoz, the three of you reunite at the top of the manor. You can faintly hear Leillana yelling and cursing Fenton, but the rest of the conversation is too muffled. However, you get the impression that the situation is escalating in the grand room.
Meanwhile, inside the manor, Leillana is getting more agitated at Fenton's announcement.
"I will not stand for this, Fenton," Leillana hisses. "This is not what we agreed."
"Ah, ah, ah," Fenton tuts, "this is exactly what we agreed upon. You want the Clarent gone so you can retake the Petrov's glory. You are the one who suggested using your daughter's birthday party to depose our mayor and putting the blame on the Clarent. A marvellous plan, I applaud you. You only miss one thing. Just one tiny little thing. You are now a Clarent by marriage, so you also need to disappear."
"Damn you, Fenton," Leillana yells. "Grab him! To Perdition with your plan!" She motions for her three remaining guards, the one by her and the two by Karm, to grab Fenton. She realizes too late that she is not the one commanding her own guards when they remain in their place.
"I lend them to you, remember?" Fenton says with a smirk. He motions at Leillana and the guard standing beside her immediately moves to restrain her. "Drag her here. And the mayor too. Maybe the two foreigners just to round it. It is time to move to the next phase. A demonstration of what will happen should any of you refuse to join me. Oh, did you think I came here and planned all of this only to offer something to you nicely? No, no, no. I am here to persuade you until you join me to create a better Mantagard. Whatever the cost and the means."
“Not a bad plan”, Drexon replies checking the chimneys for smoke in case they can be simply blocked.
”By the way, Lady Leillana organised for everyone to be poisoned, including Lady Zelena, although she and the two lords are safe for now. Fenton Guilleman is the real instigator here though, he controls the Mason apprentices. He even has the mayor at his mercy, not to mention Dvark and Karm. We need to move fast whatever we do, and we need backup. Perhaps we can get the attention of the Barony somehow”.
The roof material is concrete tile, easily shattered if dropped to the ground. It also shatter with a lot of noise. Three access points into the manor are available: the inner courtyard, one smokeless chimney that is probably in the library, and one smoking chimney that is probably in the kitchen. The chimney itself is made from bricks with an opening large enough for a medium-sized creature to get into.
"Down the chimney?" Cob suggest, pointing to the one with no smoke coming out of it. "You should fit, though it might be a little trickier when you can't just use wings to fly down."
He looks out towards the street for any sign of a mob or guards. Either would be helpful right about now.
The street outside the estate is barren and abandoned, but you know that the Barony and the Amber Squad are fighting on the other street. It would probably be a few more moments before you can see who is victorious. Still, casting your eyes on the roofs around the estate, you notice that a couple have a red-cloaked figure on them. They are either hiding as projectiles fly over the buildings or aiming down.
Not knowing the state of the conflict between the Barony and the Amber Squad makes it dangerous to raise a signal. The last thing they want is more adversaries turning up. Seeing the red cloaks on the rooftops as well suggested they too were engaged already.
"If one of you have something to block the smoking chimney that would cause smoke inside. Then we go down the other. I have nothing that would do it though", Drexon says then quickly makes for the not-smoking chimney. "Remember, Fenton Guilleman is the primary target", he adds and then looks to the others to see who will go first.
Seeing how Cob especially looks worse for wear, he digs in his pack and hands him his one healing potion.
Cob gratefully takes the healing potion and nods his thanks. He drinks it down quickly (6 ).
He then looks at the smoking chimney and shakes his head.
"Unless we could balance roofing tiles around the edges, I've got nothing," Cob says.
Looking around he muses "I'm almost ready to just open the front gates and let whatever mob is there in to cause some chaos. It would be a distraction at least."
He then peeks over the edge and looks down the non-smoking chimney.
"I can at least fly down and see what's waiting for us down there," Cob says.
He flies up and over the edge of the chimney and then down, slowing as he gets to the bottom and peeks out into whatever room is there to see if it's occupied or not.

"I've been a tad busy, but it's on my list", Drexon replies quickly before readying to switch the telepathic link to Cob.

Eremoz looks to the roof where Drexon is. Damn. He doesn’t have Zelena him. Let’s hope she is safe.
He runs over to where he can make his way over to the roof and begins climbing to meet his friends.

Cob takes a look at the roof and the building materials. Is it stone or do they have a wood roof?

As Cob flies down, Drexon initiates a telepathic link that will last for the next 3 minutes so Cob can relay what he sees and hears.
