Drexon is quickly engulfed by the vines, restraining his body from moving from his place and making it difficult to do anything else. Other vines try to grasp Cob, but he flies away just in time. Still, he couldn't fly high enough to prevent another rush of vines if the creature made it so again next time. The foliage is getting thicker as the journey continues.
{{Back to the top. Drex, Cob, Eremoz, take your turn. Eremoz and a blight are to the west about 20 ft. from the path and the rest of the group. The other blight is to the east about 10 ft. away from Drex and Cob.}}

Cob doesn’t want to leave Eremoz alone with that blight but it looks weakened and he trusts the strength of his companion. He turns his focus on the one to the east that’s closing in rapidly.
Again he lets the bow run across the fiddle strings and unleashes another blast of eldritch energy.
Unhappy that one of the plant creatures was unaffected by his discordant melody, Drexon decides to try the same tactic again. Especially as Eremoz will be able to take advantage if the one by him runs away.
He struggles a little against the vines constricting him, and hopes his plan to get the plant creatures running away works.

As Drexon's psychic might crashes to the creature by Eremoz, its vines wilt and melt into the mud pit. Just as you think it is over, the roots and small branches part of the creature twitch and move, gathering themselves into four little plant creature that quickly surround Eremoz.
The other creature to the east recoils as Cob's eldritch energy strikes it. The damage it took seems to jolt it from taking the effect of Drexon's psychic sussuration.

The creature of vines and roots on the east moves closer to Cob and Drexon. Taking advantage of Drexon's restrained form, it swings its whip-like limb at Cob. The vines grasp Cob's lower body and drag him down to the ground. The vines and roots on the ground quickly move to surround Cob's fallen form, restricting him just like Drexon.

The creatures, both of vines and twigs, prove more resistant to the effect of the magic. One of the twig creature, fortunately, also wither to dust, removing a threat from the vicinity.

Cob shakes off the now dead vines. While the constriction hurt a fair bit, when the vines dried up and fell away, he felt a spark of energy hit him at the same time. He looks over at Drexon and gives him a quick salute, assuming Drex is responsible for his good fortune.
Cob decides the big vine blight is the main concern still.
He lets the connection to the Prince of Fools open up and fill his hand with energy. Making his fingers dance like a burning fire causes another fire to spring up under the vine blight.
As fire springs to life under the vine creature, it flinches as its lower body bursts aflame. It looks hurt and the flame clings to it, burning through vines and dried branches on its body.

From there, he floats up into the air, staying off the path and lets the energy build across the strings of the fiddle. With a sharp strike of the bow, the eldritch energy leaps across at the vine blight.

With the vine creature taken care of, Drexon reaches a sparking hand toward one of the twig creatures, blasting it apart and scattering the twigs. It won't be regaining its form soon, if at all.
Eremoz evades one of the twig's little clawed hands and activates the rune he had etched previously. Suddenly, his form blurs a little and the twig strikes one of its own instead of Eremoz.
