Drexon reaches into the mind of the flaming horse and twists something within it. The horse buckles and looks ready to bolt away. The rider, surprised at the sudden movement when he has just shot an arrow, flails precariously.
When Cob breaks through the top branches and looks in the direction Drexon indicates, he sees the rider about 150' away.
He flies towards horse and rider until he gets to 120' away. Seeing that the horse already looks ready to run, Cob focuses on the rider, hoping a little nudge might push him the rest of the way off the horse.
He lets the bow fly across the fiddle, building up electric blue crackling energy. A bolt of lightning like power leaps off the instrument and races towards the rider.
Eremoz grits his teeth at the sight of the rider re-emerging. Seeing the rider off balance, he stows his handaxe and sprints in the direction of the rider.
As the horse buckles more and Cob's attack hit him directly near his centre of mass, the rider cannot hold on quick enough and falls down. He lets out a raspy cackle as he picks himself back up.
"That was embarrassing," he comments. He groans and fixes his bow as the surrounding dim forest appears to shroud him.
Seeing Eremoz rushing toward him, he deftly grabs an arrow and lets it loose at the rushing leonin one after the other. The first one hits Eremoz, but the other is easily batted away. With the range advantage rapidly disappearing, the rider climbs up a tree and attempts to cover himself in the dimness of the foliage.
Rider 1st Attack to Eremoz: 19 to hit, Damage: 6 piercing Rider 2nd Attack to Eremoz: 14 to hit, Miss Bonus Action: Hide Movement: 30 ft.

Drexon notices the rider fall off the horse and a grin spreads across his face, his poker face gone for the moment. Seeing the others start to converge on the rider, he also starts to head back that way.
He looks up for the horse, seeing it has bolted straight upwards, but unsure if the rider will be able to call it back to him.
Not wanting the rider to somehow call the horse and escape, he focusses on the steed, building his magic and enhancing it once more again. If the horse comes within range, he will whistle a discordant tune only it can hear.

As he nears, Eremoz activates a rune on his armor and grows to a large size. He uses the adrenaline surge and grabs the rider from the tree, attempting to keep him from toying with the group further.

The rider struggles for a bit before he seems to phase through Eremoz's grasp in a red haze that stings and burns Eremoz. The rider quickly jumps back up the tree and continues his way deeper into the forest to make more distance. As he leaps from branch to branch, he shoots another pair of arrows toward Eremoz.

He flies towards it and decides to add a little sting to the back end to try and encourage the horse to stay away. Cob plucks one string on his fiddle and an arc of energy leaps out and races at the horse. Cob immediately blinks out of sight and then reappears closer to the horse.

Seeing the rider do something quite impossible to do, teleporting from one place to another, Cob knows, deep in his mind, he can do something similar. Perhaps it is his connection with his patron, or perhaps his own inherent ability as a fey. Reaching deep within himself, he copies what the rider had done and phases out of existence. For a very brief moment, Cob can see a glimpse of a grand landscape filled with colourful flora and strange fauna as he phases out. A regal woman dressed in royal yellow and gold is attending to the flora with tender care. He blinks and the vision ends. He finds himself moved 30 feet away from where he once was.
Eremoz pulls the arrow from his shoulder and sticks it in his belt, grabbing a hand axe in exchange. Focusing his last bit of adrenaline, he takes a breath and chases after the rider and throws his weapon as he closes in.
Nodding to Drexon, Amberrushes toward Eremoz to try and heal him with her magic. Unfortunately, the leonin proves too far and too fast for her to catch up.
Eremoz's handaxe flies through the air and slashes the rider's leg, prompting the rider to move further away. The rider changes his direction, strangely hopping from branch to branch toward the less dense area of the forest. However, at one point, he stops in his stride, aims his bow toward Cob, and lets loose his last arrow. The arrow crests just slightly below Cob's feet. As the arrow falls to the ground, gnarled and sharp vines sprouted from the tip of the arrow.
At the same time, after receiving a blast of energy from Cob, the horse whinies and fades from view. It appears to have used its ability to disappear again.

In his haste, he feels the magic potential build up in him, and knows he has the capacity to quickly use it. And he does, sending a telepathic whip into the mind of the rider.

Cob just sighs when the horse disappears and the rider goes even further away. With nothing he can do at the moment, he moves closer to the rider, dodging as he does.
The rider stumbles as Drexon sends out a telepathic whip. Looking back, the rider slows down in his stride and stops when he reaches a rather wide clearing. He stands in the middle of the clearing, breathing heavily for a moment, before turning to face the group with his hands raised.
"Very good and very lucky of you," the rider says. "I can see why the other group has such difficulty. Even with an informant on your side, it is a testament of your skills that you have come this far."
Drexon winces too when he is suddenly bombarded with the image of a young elf dressed in a summer-season ensemble. This is not the rider, that much he can tell, but it feels like a person he had seen in the past.
Amber continues her run to reach Eremoz. Out of the other three, he is the one looking the most hurt. Well, Cob appears more injured, but, in her mind, he is at a safe distance. Breathlessly, Amber sounds out a stuttered whistle. Eremoz immediately feels the wind caressing his body before some of his injuries slowly heal.
