“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
As Sorrow makes her way over to the last door to clear she gets the feeling that there is another spider beyond the doorway. She can not see well without clearing the webbing in and around the door but this one looks bigger then those recently fought. She pauses before clearing the webs. Festoon and J'nah continue dropping the cocoons they find cutting them open. You also see there is a mix of sizes in the bodies This includes weapons and armor. One of the bodies they find is a elven woman in a simple blue/green dress. Her body is not sucked dry and looks as if she is just sleeping. There is no money or weapons upon or around her. Millwater is moving about cutting open spiders trying to find a way to kill them easier. He is finding cutting dead spiders open is easier when they are not moving. Veeshal says last rites to the bodies they find as he helps loot them of weapons armor and coins. The search is slow going as is the finding of monetary treasure.
All bodies they find are sucked dry with the lone exception of the female elf. While you find lots of weapons the most common are quarterstaves and short swords. You do find bows and enough arrows to refill any quivers which are low. Armor ranges from simple leather to plate mail. Shield range from small wooden to large metal. The best armor in halfling size is a set of ring-mail. The better armor is of human or close to human size. 5'4" smallest to 6' 6" biggest. Once all bodies are revealed and search you will have the amozing treasure of 31 gp, 46 sp and 77 cp. Just do not spend it all in one place.
Thus ends the search of the big room. 65 bodies have been found. Some of the bodies seemed to have been sucked dry recently.
Sorrow lets out a ‘PSST’ to get the groups attention, then chin points toward where she thought she saw the bigger monster. ‘Probably Mother’ she says as she readies her javelin.
He turns his attention to the elf, wondering if she just has paralysis from a bite. He flattens her on her back, and straightens her limbs. He says "Best I can do for now."
"Fire is their weakness." He says, before tightening the saffron cloth around his face. He gets down low to the floor.
"Well, she looks more comfortable now, but is she actually alive?" Festoon asks at first. Upon hearing of a new, possibly bigger threat, he readies his bow again.

As Sorrow tells the others of what she sees Millwater moves over to the elf and makes her more comfortable. All indications tell you she is alive but is in a deep slumber. Whether self induced or otherwise you can not tell. You find no injuries on her that would indicate she is in a paralyzed state from the spiders. The other possibility is she was bitten by the spiders before being wrapped up and some how healed of any injuries while in the cocoon.

"Gah!" J'nah is frustrated, he knows he only has one spell left and want to pump it into the Elf maiden to make sure she's okay, but knowing there's a bigger fight ahead and the chance of an ally going down, he opts to keep that last spell in his pocket and not use it to hunter's mark the new quarry. Knowing he and Sorrow are the only one that can take a hit out of the group, he gets out his shortbow and start moving up slowly to take aim where he's being directed knowing that he's only got about 1 or 2 shots before he needs to close with whatever it is.

Taking a quick glance and noting no signs of breath or life, Vee trades the hammer for his Xbow and slides to Sorrows right. Sighting the box, he lets loose with the bolt.
Sorrow and Veeshal both use range weapons on the movement they see in the next room. Without the webs being removed completely from the doorway you are not sure if your shots were effective. J'nah and Festoon both move up towards the door with their bows at the ready. Meanwhile Millwater causes some damage on the elf woman's body as he tries to wake her. He feels his repeated head butts while not real hard is having no effect on waking her. He does feel that he should not cause her more damage or she may never come back from her unconscious.
Tail chuckles after Mill walks away. "We shall heal her their way, though dinner will be good soon." Readying her scimitar to attack whatever might come past the others.
Sorrow 'hrmps’ in frustration, pulls loose another javelin and peals away more webs, hoping to display more of the bigger spider she caught a glimpse of or of the room behind it.

Sorrow along with Festoon clear the rest of the doorway of webs. Two things come to realization as the webs drop to the floor. One you see a faint blueish light within the entire room. Two there are no webs inside the room at all. You can see some egg sacks along the walls on the floor but no extra webbing holds them in place. The room os about 40 feet square with the doorway you standing in the only doorway in. The doorway is only 10 feet high by about eight feet wide. The huge spider inside can get out but it will be a very tight squeeze. The spider itself looks a bit angry and is coming towards you quickly. (Everyone can get one round of range weapon attacks before it is at the doorway. This spider looks to be 50% bigger than the ones before. You can not see anything else about the room due to a large spider in your way.

Keeping an eye on the opening, Millwater walks a lazy circle by the elf's head. He plops down and starts head butting the elf like he is owed 2 meals.
"We are expecting trouble, now would be a great time to wake up" He whispers.
