“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Festoon shoots the spider before him causing some damage to it. Sorrow throws a javelin at the spider hitting it for some more damage. Millwater throws some shuriken at it causing more damage. J'nah hits the spider for even more damage Tailfeathers casts a spell giving everyone 8 temp hit points and advantage on all strength saving throws.Veeshal hits the spider with a bolt causing some more damage to the spider. At this point the spider is at the doorway. Thus we are now at melee range for attacks. In the doorway only three people can attack melee wise. Those in the background with bows can still attack. However you will be at a disadvantage when attacking since you will trying to avoid striking one of your companions.
Combat order is Festoon, Sorrow, Spider, Millwater, J'nah, Tail-Feathers, and Veeshal
This time, upon seeing the biggun spider, he decides to get up close and personal with it, drawing out his rapier and dagger for close combat! Moving to the flank of the spider, he waits until a friend is in melee as well, and strikes with swift movements! As he strikes, he moves past the doorway and behind the spider, freeing the entrance for his larger friends.

Festoon attack kills the spider with a well placed stab with his rapier lolled by a slash with the dagger to make sure it is down. The spider actually lets out a high pick scream as it falls to the ground twitching in its death. As the spider falls the soft blue light of the room intensifies for a brief bit blinding everyone temporarily. As the light fades back to its soft blue you see the spider along with all the egg sacks are no longer in the room. As you look into the room (Festoon has a clearer visual as he is in the room) you can see a large female face projecting out of the far wall. The eyes of this face is where the soft blue light is coming from.
The combat has come to an end. I will need everyones next actions.
Millwater gasps at the brutal finesse of Festoon's finish, then let's out a sign of relief. Blinded a moment, "Did you see that?" he says. He checks on his companions, then turns his attention to the elf on the floor.
Using his medical knowledge, he tries to determine if she is alive. A call for Din-Din wasn't enough, so Millwater resorts to ancient acupuncture secrets and uses the tip of a claw and pokes the center of her sole to peirce her soul! (Always worked with master)
Vee turns his attention to what Mill is doing, pulling his heal kit out and kneeling by the elf. He runs his hands quickly over her body, looking for any wounds. 'Whenever you're done doing whatever that is' he calls over his shoulder to the room at large, but obviously directed to Sorrow 'be sure to recover any bolts and javelins that are salvageable.'
If wounds are found, he'll clean and bind them. If none, he closes his eyes and starts chanting a hymn to Sharindlar, asking for guidance and insight to whatever ails the elf.

Festoon cleans and sheathes his weapons, approaching the blue-lit face warily. "So, this female blue face here looks a lot like a place of worship, too. Love the trick with the spider-cleanup! Any of you wiser-than-I heads want to take a look while others check for issues?"
Perception: 6 Checking for traps without getting within 10' of the face or it's wall.

"Is this like the nice lady from before? She said she'd be watching." J'nah sees Festoon scanning for traps and joins him crossing over to the blue glow.
"Huh?" Millwater's response to J'Nah's inquiry, then takes a good look at the elfs face, looks at the glowing eyes from other room and trys to remember details from the statue.
(Could it be?) He wonders with an anguish look on his face, gently rubbing the poke.
Festoon stops suddenly, almost over balanced as he is frozen in place. This lasts for a heartbeat or two before he catches himself and says loudly, "So THAT'S what you people were talking about!! She's a nice blue lady. What's her name, anyways?" Then he goes up to the face and, with a wide grin, picks the nose of the blue face, unlocking the secret compartment behind it. Revealed is a chest that he comments on "She says we can take what we need from the chest. Let's take a look, huh!" and he goes to open the chest without fear.

"Yeah, I got that, everyone, we need to get the elf lady to the nice lady. Yes, she asked Nicely." J'nah continues to pressure everyone to help quickly bring the Elf woman into the other room knowing that he's not that strong. "It'll take two minutes. Heaaave!"
Vee chuckles. ‘Why not let my over muscled friend do the honors instead of us lesser toned ones straining our backs…’ He smiles, the jest shining thru in his eyes as well as his voice.
Sorrow scowls, huffs thru her nose, does the ‘strongman’ pose before coming over to lift the elf. She cradles her gently then carefully moves into the room, placing the elf where the gaze of the face can fall on her.
After carrying the elf woman into the room the first thing you all see is the blue glow surround her. The second thing you see is the shrine has moved a full circle to the right and an alcove has been revealed where it used to be. Inside the alcove is a large chest with a happy looking Festoon opening the chest. As Sorrow carefully places her on the ground before the shrine the blue glow intesifies somewhat obscuring the woman as Sorrow steps back. Soon the glow fades and the blue light diminishes from the elf woman who now is laying there with her eyes open. She slowly rises to a sitting position before rising up to her feet. She looks to all of you. "The lady told me you have saved me from my eternal rest. It feels good but yet strange to be back in my own body after such a time. I thank you for saving me." She gestures to where Festoon is standing by the large chest. "The lady asked me to tell you the chest is yours for the taking. The goods within are your payment for assisting our benefactor. She says the next place to go is to the north of here before you head south." She heads over to the west west wall where she touches the wall and soon a glow appears in the stone wall before revealing a open doorway. As the glow fades she steps through the doorway into a small room with a desk and part of a bed visible.
