"I'mmaking hot pies! But it's gonna take a few hours to bake with a small fire. But it will taste alot better, used rations for ingredients."
Happy to have a sparring partner, Millwater shows how a hard stretch at the wrists can snap back harder going from block to strike. He corrects J'nah's back posture to lower his center of gravity to make him harder to push over.
After a few rounds "You know this is really just a show, the secret is knowing your opponents anatomy!" He taps a spot near J'nah's elbow to numb his arm. Then a wide 2 finger pinch to top of knee that makes him stumble. Very subtle moves with a very light touch "A master I am not. But most creatures have weakness to nerves that lie beneath the skin. Finding them is proving to be difficult. My order focuses on healing... and a quick death to end suffering. We believe the mundane has more power than magic, a healer of faith can only help but a few patients at a time before they need a rest. Some surgeons were known to work on scores of patients for 3 days straight before collapsing!"
After the chest has been closed every one hangs out until Millwater is done with making his latest food. Soon everyone is ready to head out before everyone is back in the hall you were following before Tail-Feathers had spotted the hidden doorway/ Once everyone is in the corridor Tail-Feathers closes the hidden door. You turn to face the next room that is just a short distance away. Heading into this room you see it is a 40 x 40 room there is a doorway directly across from where you now stand. These doorways are it the last 5 feet of the walls with a wall running directly between the two doorways the side walls run the other 25 feet from these doorways. In the center of the wall which is parallel to the wall on your right is another doorway. Those who had the wisdom from the statue will see a faintly glowing arrow om the wall above this doorway guiding you some. The door way is otherwise is adorned/
Millwater checks out the glowing arrow. 1st trying to climb up the doorway to get a good look at that spot for writing. Failing that, asks Sorrow for "uppies" with arms stretched out to get a closer look.
“You see it too?” She asks Mill after watching him try to get a closer look. “It looks like it’s giving us a bit of help in which way to go still. I see nothing else around it.”
"See what?" Festoon asks, looking where they seem intent on, curious.

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Sorrow blinks then smiles, the trusting nature of the little Tabaxi finally melting a bit more of the ice she had coated her heart with. Sheathing the axe, she gently lifts Mill up and sets him on her shoulders.
"A glowing chevron!" Millwater stands motionless on Sorrow's shoulder and braces with his hands on each side of the glowing arrow. (A war rages between 2 wolves in his mind. A stoic and wise one that embraces cautious observations and a wild, sensory seeking, cross-eyed, slightly derpped one that wins out every time.)
Millwater licks the arrow. Magic, mineral, vegetation, fungal? His tongue passes thro to the wall. He presses his face to the wall and sees its above the surface. "It's just there! Must be magic! Divine perhaps, wish you could taste a difference" playing with his paws in it's light, changing the glow's shape. "Neat O!" as he scampers back down to the floor.
Vee nods as others confirm what he was seeing (the floating chevron). ‘Right then. Standard order, Sorrow?’ At her nod he motions everyone forward so he can take up his rear guard, Xbow at the ready.
As you all leave this room behind you head deeper into the cave system. This corridor is ten feet wide with fifteen foot ceiling. It runs straight for 80 feet before you come to a T intersection. The left and right side you can see some webbing ahead on the ceilings but not much. The ceilings stay around 15 feet high. Which way do you plan on going?
Raising an eyebrow Sorrow glances down at Mill, then looks to Tail and Vee for any assistance with the choice. If they do not give any indication they see anything, she takes the right hand branch and leads onward.
Nodding to Sorrow, Millwater steps into corridor. His mind practices "stillness" slowing down his thoughts, breathing, and his heart rate. He checks both ways, looking for magic and mundane signs. Trying to distinguish if noises heard (waterfall?) are just us.
"I don't hear the waterfall anymore."
He keeps close to the wall on all 4s and a step back from Sorrow.
Tail goes to the opposite way from Mill and listens for any noise besides the group. Her eyes glancing around the walls for possible critters to get a little more information of the area.
"I don't hear anything but us" Millwater says, then looks at Tail to see if she heard anything. He looks around for signs he may have missed, then looks up at the ceiling.
As we proceed J'nah keeps an eye out for any signs of life, plant, animal, humanoid, monstrous, but focuses on keeping track of where they've been as well as were they are going by cutting diagonal notches in an bolt he picked up, good for keeping distance in longer caves if it became too much to keep all the information in his head. So far, he'd memorized all the rights and lefts and distances, but once you get past 5 turns and 400 feet the memory can play tricks on you. "was it a dead end or are you just reporting back that you didn't hear anything too?" J'nah asks Tail
"What about up or down? Any arrows you people see at all? Did the divine blessing run out?" Festoon asks, looking around as he waits.

What is your next move?
Seeing the webs J'nah checks the duration of his torch and figures it'll last long enough if they need to spark some webs.
