Azurewrath surveys the battlefield to see if she can find the arrow that she shot while wiping the blood off of her swords and stowing them. Regardless of whether or not she finds the arrow she walks over to the group with the live bandit to listen in on the interrogation.
Sorrow pulls Azurewrath aside and says in a low voice ‘I hope you’re not squeamish-I may need you to partially skin those bodies and create a torture like feeling here if he proves closed mouth. Are you willing? And we’ll need to scuff over the blood on the ground so he has no idea what’s happened.’ Raising her voice slightly, she’ll call to the others. ‘Ok-take those-things-into the woods and separate them by a few feet, spread eagle face up. If there’s any leather armor left, can someone cut strips from one? We’ll want several different widths-1/2 a dagger, dagger, dagger and 1/2 then about my hand width. May need to cut them out of multiple suits…’.
Not bothering to see what the rest do, she grabs the unconscious attacker by the hair and drags him towards the water.
Hunkers down into the foliage to keep vigilance over the skirmish site, and the path to the fishing spot. Thinks to himself (This spot is good to watch over the others). Turns his head to the knoll blocking his sight of the fishing spot and thinks (bandits must of came from over there). Reaches out and squeezes Arashi's finger as he passes by "He endures all"
Just a clarification on where you are. You left the bridge behind as you followed the road until it curved to the right. Just out of sight of the bridge the road so straightens out. The road continues on with trees on both sides. The trail these seven were on is the same trail the Karie had indicated that will lead you through the trees to a clearing that is by the edge of the river. SO say it is a triangle. The battle took place is one point the bridge the second point and the clearing by the river the third point,. While neither point is far from each other the all are out of each others site. Hope that helps some confusion.
Azurewath you can find your broken arrow under the bandit who has bled out from your arrow.
After about 10’, Sorrow realizes the sounds of the river are not getting louder. She also realizes that it might be smarter to bind and gag her captive. Putting him face down, she’ll tear/cut his small clothes into strips, then (if someone has cut the leather armor up) stuff a wad of cloth into his mouth and cinch it in place with a strip of leather. If no leather, then tie it in place with strips of cloth. She’ll put one knee in the center of his back as she ties his hands behind his back.
’Azurewath-can you read the trail here? Something seems a bit off…’
Those that go a little ways down the path towards the fishing spot sees that it curves to the south about 80 paces further down. Just like where the fight took place the bridge is just out of sight. Meanwhile Sorrow ties up the unconscious bandit as the others stand around waiting to see what they are going to do. Meanwhile Soldin heads back towards the village itself.
Note Soldin has not posted for a while so for now he is out of the game. Need actions please. Are you going to drag tghe prisoner back to the bridge or drag him with you down the path that leads to Karie's fishing spot?
Veeshal stares at Sorrow in awe/wonder-not quite sure where she was going with her ideas or with the trusses villain. After having seen her visage, her knows she’s a mix of animal and..other, so her thought processes just might not mesh with ‘polite’ company or be acceptable to civilized beings. He shudders visibly, getting a mental picture of what she might do to him if he tried to intervene. After all-she was pretty capable with that axe, able to deal out healthy nonlethal blows…
He’ll stop and watch to see what the Dragonborn does before committing himself to any real action other than scanning the area.
You bid and gag the unconscious bandits while you make your way down the path as others remain at the roadside. Those on the path need to give me a perception check and I will also need a investigation check.
Those who have not moved from the road what are you going to do with the bodies?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Selecting bits of foliage to incorporate into his robes, looking for a suitable tree to climb for a height advantage. Sulking turns to prowling as base instints take over. Claws extract Millwater quickly climb 20 feet to look around.
Sorrow claps him on the shoulder. ‘Good. I have some skills with surviving in the wild-maybe what I see and know can help with you reading the area? If this-trash-was on this side of the river, they may have a camp close by. We should probably scout out or see if we can backtrack them. After that’ she looks down at the captive ‘we’ll see whats what.’
She will ‘aide another’ with searching/investigating the area. (Roll checks with advantage).

’Ok-roll or drag those bodies off the road and scuff dirt over the blood spots.’
Both Millwater and Veeshal can smell smoke that is coming through the trees to the south of the trail that leads to the fishing spot . They both feel that if there is a campfire going then these seven may not have been alone. You are able to get the bodies to the side of the road with no issues and skuff enough of the dirt to hide the fact that a fight took place here just moments ago.
Tail Feathers follows the others in hiding the fact of a fight happening. She will scan the area to look for the ones who took off towards the river ahead of them.
Nose begins twitching from the smoke Millwater climbs down and makes haste to catch up with Arashi. "I can smell a smoke fire coming over there" speaking quietly, pointing in direction of the fishing spot "we should hide and wait for them to pass should they go looking for the slain bandits, make 1st strike when they close in on our companions"
Veeshal draws in a full breath, making ready to call to the others, then slowly exhales and walks up to Sorrow, 'Millwater and I smell smoke ahead' he whispers. 'How do you think we should go about checking it out?' Looking carefully at her large form, he mentally says ##nope-not stealthy at all. Bet that'll be Mill or Azure...##
Sorrow jerks her head up, scanning the area once again with her eyes as well as her nose. Muttering something under her breath forcibly (sounded like potsilui kozu!!), she drags the trussed bandit to his feet and, holding him with one hand she uses the other to free her waterskin. Realizing she still has her balaclava around her face she thrusts the skin at Veeshal. 'Pop the top for me Vee-I seem to have forgotten to drop the veil to do it myself. Thanks.' She then pours a couple of mouthfuls of water into the bandits' mouth around the gag, waiting for him to gag on it and wake.
'Azurewrath-can you backtrack their footprints? Or follow the smoke smell? Or maybe you and Millwater can both track it down? I seriously doubt these morons-well, on second thought...they WERE morons after all...nah. They wouldn't have left a fire unattended. There's got to be a few more out there somewhere. I'd like to get an idea of where, how many and the layout of their camp if possible-before they come looking for this lot.' she says quietly. 'And might be a good thing to have a couple of the others settle in some brush to watch.'
##mental note to self-might be a good idea to get the measure of the rest of the party-be good to know what specialties everyone has##
As you smell smoke and tell the others about it you wonder if there are more of these bandits at a camp. Or did they wander away and left the fire unattended. As you hold up the once that was unconscious and throw water on his face he is slowly coming awake once more. He looks around at the party along the side of the road as Millwater watches the trail about mid way between the road and the open area Karie told you about.
Those on the road still will see what looks like a child heading your way. It does not look like Karie. It is a male child that you can maybe he is just wandering about.
Whistling a jaunty tune as he walks, as he gets closer you can see he is less of a child, and more of a very small man armed and armoured. Dressed in non-descript browns and tans, he carries a bow on his back and a rapier high on his side as well as a slim backpack. Long brown hair held in a tassel, tanned skin, he looks like a experienced wayfarer, all alone. The cleanliness of his gear and the smoothness of his gait also imply a warrior's career, but his size certainly invites testing that.

Azureweath checks the trail and surrounding areas for signs that something is wrong. Azurewrath follows Dumarest’s lead with regards to the captives.
I will help with whatever you need Dumarest. After the horrors of war this should be easy.
