The half-elf hesitates to speak as he looks towards the group trying to figure out if he should trust them or not. When he hears the name Xavword mentioned he seems to perk up a little but then he glances down at where his arm once was and sighs ever so softly.
"How do you know m- that name?" He questions as he attempts to get to his feet. Upon closer examination the half-elf almost perfect fits the description of Xavword, the only notable differences would be the missing arm, a couple bruises and a scar that runs down the left side of his face. "I was on my way to Wintercall when he captured me. He told me that if I didn't assist him with getting into our family's vault that he'd kill me and then things got blurry. The next thing I can recall is my arm being lopped off by Sir Lowclaw as he tried to free me from his hold, although it's entirely possible that he'd been aiming for the dragonborn. I'm not entirely sure what happened to him but after that the dragonborn dragged me here and I guess you probably heard what happened after that, because if you didn't I don't believe that I'd be alive right now."
“Precisely! Andnon, come forth, is this indeed Xavword?” He turns to Xavword, saying “What have you found with your investigations? We read some of your thoughts in your journals, trying to pick up the trail (lucky that we arrived when we did, if I might say…), what have you sorted out to this point?” Ludolf leans forward with his journal and pen in hand, all ears.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Andnon hesitantly stepped forwards and glanced to Ludolf and Eglar before turning his attention to the half-elf in question. There was a momentary silence as the Tiefling looked him over before letting out a somewhat soft sigh. "Xavword... You look like shit, but given the circumstances it's certainly understandable." He said with a soft chuckle.
Xavword winced slightly as he got to his feet and nodded ever so slightly. "What I have learned does shed some light on something that I only had suspicions about until Yostil caught me off guard and kidnapped me. Two of the members of the counsel are working with a group from Espar that were trying to kill the leaders of the neighboring kingdoms who have also banned necromancy from being used. Although neither of their identities are known to me as of yet."
"We, need to get you back to your father. Maybe something he has could take care of your arm." Eglar shakes his head. "I would like to know what this, Yostil was after. And who he, was."
“Agree with that, perhaps we can regather there and decide the next course of action. Everyone agreed?” Ludolf keeps taking notes in his journal, making a quick drawing labeled “Xavword” as well.

”That’s fine,” says Flutter, “As much as I would like to explore further, we need to get him home safely.”
"If he hadn't sent you guys..." Xavword trailed off slightly before nodding ever so slightly. "Father will likely have to see the Smith to see about a prosthetic."
Andnon and Victor glanced at each other for a moment before looking at the party. "It would probably be for the best if we had this discussion above ground. There's a chance that he wasn't the only blood drinking menace down here and while I would love a hand clearing more ghouls and ghasts out from down here, I feel that it would be for the best if we get the young lord topside before anymore harm can befall him."
Ludolf says “Quite so, lead on, let’s have the rest of this talk above ground. Your father must still be worried sick.” He puts away his notebook and puts his hand on his dagger of warning, keeping an eye peeled for any trouble on the way out.

{With a 20 Flutter doesn't notice anything, although as the party starts to move there is a slight hint of movement near where the damaged statue is. Whoever it is doesn't seem to be hostile and it appears that they are trying to repair it, but as soon as they hear the party approaching they seem to disappear.}
Seeing nothing aggressive or threatening as he moves along, Flutter keeps going along the path to the exit. He makes note of the passageways they pass and considers what else they might need to do down here to clear out the undead, but does not act on any of it yet.

When Ludolf hears that, he does a quick about face for a moment, activating his helm of telepathy, and casting detect thoughts with it, trying to listen to the thoughts of the invisible tail they have on them. He’s relieved that they are not hostile, but doesn’t want to be spied on either…. “Come out, come out, wherever you are…..”. He probes to find their location and hear their thoughts.

"We were sent here by your father. What, was the vampire after?"
Eglar looks around "Your best friend, Andnon should be around here, somewhere."
