Energised by his performance, and bowled over by the crowd’s reaction, Andrick is positively glowing as he comes out of the tent, exchanging pleasantries and small talk with other audience members as he walks.
Seeing Burly approaching he rejoins the group and waits to see what happens…
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Andrick nods 'We were planning to visit them shortly, so I guess now is as good a time as any...'he looks around the group to make sure everyone else is happy to accompany Burly.

Burly's voice is monotone, as if he was just following orders.
Peppermint cusses loud and long in Sylvan, and throws in a few choice guttural sounds, too (Primordial), “Not at you, Burly,” but trudges along with the group. She keeps her mask in place on her face, fingering the whip coiled at her waist.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Yoli wonders aloud, "hmmm. I wonder what they could want with us? I guess the mystery mountain will have to wait." To Burly, "does this type of thing happen often? Are we in trouble?"

"No, there's nothing to worry about" The bugbear leads you to a circle of wagons. Leaning against a particularly ostentatious wagon is an aging clown with a painted grin. He puffs on a bubble pipe and glares at you as the bugbear, ignoring the clown, opens the wagon’s door and ushers you inside.
A flamboyant elf grins from ear to ear as he welcomes you into the wagon with a theatrical bow. “Please come in, it’s a delight to meet you all! I am Mister Light, and this is my associate, Mister Witch.”
He gestures to a stocky elf lounging on a bunk. Mister Witch nods to you and doffs his top hat.
"We wanted to thank you for lighten up the mood in the carnival, you see this very special item here" Mr light presents his scepter "picks up every nuance of emotion in the carnival and it'll shape the mood around to match it, so your visit today has helped to create beautiful memories on every visitor making it a very special one...well we are just in the middle of our stay so we hope you continue with this" Mr Witch in the back simply nods at the back when Light stops explaining.
Peppermint stands to the back of the group, leaving the bulk of Nuotrin between her and the bosses. She’s not often been accused of making things lighter.

Andrick stiffens with sudden anger, and his eyes narrow slightly.
‘You’d like to talk about beautiful memories would you? Let's talk about indelibly etched memories, shall we?'he asks softly, a dangerous air about him now a marked contrast to his earlier demeanour in a way that seems startling from a relatively young halfling - as he uses his bardic skills unconsciously to modulate his voice…
'Let's talk about the memories of a 10 year old child who lost both their sense of direction and their parents in the space of an afternoon, because their parents sneaked into a fey carnival with him. Lets talk about about eight long years amongst strangers, eight long years apart from my people. Let's talk about those memories, shall we?'
He then remembers an earlier conversation. ‘Perhaps we should talk about Dirlagraun’s memory of their child, missing now, as well?’
He pauses, and takes a long breath to steady himself, and then another longer breath. ‘Well, that’s embarrassing. I’d planned on leading into that with a little more subtlety, but now you know.’ He stares down both Mister Light and Mister Witch calmly though. 'I won’t be leaving the fair without answers…’

The silent owner who's been standing on the back both in the show and here in the wagon simply nodding after his partner's words puts on the hat and starts walking towards the exit, it takes a little while to go all the way down, you can see how he struggles a bit with a big stomach and not very dextrous legs...he reaches towards Andrick and says with a low voice, paternal to some degree, it doesn't sound condescending. "I'm sorry kiddo" he pauses a bit and then continues “ Unfortunately, there are forces at work on the other side that are entirely beyond our control.” Mister Witch adds, “The wheel of time turns ever on… what’s lost is lost, what’s gone is gone.” mr light jumps in the conversation "We just wanted to know why you visited us today, wanted to learn what brought together such interesting party of yours, we then learned that our Billiam and Peppermint joined you as well...Billiam we get it but Peppermint won't usually stray from her duties which I have to admit - tends to take very seriously -...anyhow I think I remember you now."
Mr. Witch (the one with the hat) interrupts Mr. Light"There is no point discussing about the past, if you require an explanation from us I can only admit that we aren't the original owners of the carnival, but that doesn't mean we are evil, we exchanged it honestly following the proper procedure...we love this place and the joy it brings to many people...but oh well I need to say goodbay for now I would hate to see the mood of the carnival shift after what should've been a much lighter conversation."
Nuotrin stays tense, and finally opens his mouth. "Was that really the only reason? To thank a few visitors who lightened the mood?" He directs his question mostly at Mister Light.
Hazel jumps in the discussion. « I think we all have lost something or were changed in a way. Since my last visit, I have these spikes of raw magic. No one can explain this, maybe you can. »
« Also, what do you mean by - there are forces at work on the other side that are entirely beyond our control.- ? Would that explain the strange things that keep on happening here ? »

"well, I can see that this was a mistake...we can't say much else, so it'll be better if you go back to enjoy the carnival. Burly please make sure that they get a complimentary tart from us" Says Mr. Light
"You'll learn that you can't be in control of everything, you lost things eight years ago? it looks to me that you managed yoruselves just fine...time to turn the page." Mr Witch turns his back to the group and went back to the wagon not waiting or caring if anyone had anything else to say. "We are done here". And he closes the wagon.
Burly will follow the bosses instructions and once you are far from Thaco he removes his jack-o’-lantern helmet, revealing a worried expression. “I agree with you, bad things have been happening at the carnival for a while. People and things have been going missing. My bosses know more than they’re telling, but their hands are tied somehow. You’re the first people I’ve met who might be able to set things right. Witch and Light are good guys, but you’ll need leverage to make them spill the beans.”
Hazel smiles at the bugbear and asks him « Well, this was fun, what did you think of it ? »

Hazel wonders if there's something else behind this. It is strange to have an "audience" with the bosses just to say thanks
