"I doubt the others at the inspired hands will be as kind considering how many problems this... 'son' caused." Drux states gruffly. "But if they at least get a bit more out of it by fixing it up WITHOUT the bloody thing trying to murder everyone, then... I stand by seeing it handed over to them. But either way, let's crack on out of here at least." The Dragonborn further emphasizes, before then moving to head back for the gate. But with every intention of at least keeping to a pace so that the group could at least walk and talk. If any asks him to grab the rest of the body as well, he'd grumble a little, but follow suit knowing the others to be less gifted in the muscle department.

Cat shows the others the map, points to the X in the dockward "We need to go there, now! It said in a few hours the stone will be retrieved I surmise that's, where the x is! We need a horse, or something fast, to get there!" She waits for the response the goes as fast as she can
Piers raises his index finger "I have a crazy idea!I can transform into a horse but we still need a wagon.what about a carriage? There must be all around in a big metropolis like Waterdeep "
Drux sighs. "It did say something like that didn't it... Great. Well, this is gonna be a long ass night."Drux says as he as needed picks up the pace to a fast jog at the very least. 'There's bound to be some, yea. Problem is getting tied up in either needing to steal one, haggle, or some other aurox shite'He mentions via the link to make it easier to breathe and communicate at least. 'Either way, we'd be wasting some precious time. So.... shite, uh... Ah! Piers! Have Cat ride ya there. You too are pretty sneaky, and if you can at least find out who the stone winds up with, we can always follow-up on it. In the meantime, me and Lores here will try to get our own horses, maybe hit up a Dray, or take what short cuts we can through the alleys -- And I know! ... I know it's risky to split up like this, but we're gonna be rolling the dice no matter how you slice it. So either we take the risk or be on the back foot and gamble on the Inspired fixing up the construct enough to give us more intel.'

"Well, if we chip in for a carriage on the way, but if I remember right they weigh around 600 pounds, and do we have time to haggle over a price. My parents had one, it cost around 100dragons. and the horse about 50dragons each, and we'll need two."(gp)
she looks in thought "We'll have to do this on the way" she continues walking, but more half sprinting.
Piers follows the group .He knows he is not in shape therefore he says before he runs out of breath "Drux is right..I (breaths) ll become a horse and take Cat with me.. You and lore can rent a horse and come and find us" He stops running and quickly changes his form into a nice black stallion.Approaching Cat neighs gesturing to hop on
As you exit the dark atmosphere of the city of the death, you change the scenery to a more. . . Naval atmosphere, so to speak. it's a run-down Dock Ward neighborhood that reeks of fish and scorched timber. the buildings are actually Burned-out Ship shells with (at best) sails for roofs. Fishing poles and nets line the dock, and you can all see people fishing and talking at the shore.
Asking a few people around, you manage to get directions to Glinda's house, altough their reaction make it seem like she is an obcessed, eccentric wizard. when you walk towards her residence, you find Four cloaked humans trying to break her door. a few people around seem nervous, and are trying to ignore the event, as there are a few hooligand overseeing the operation.
"GIVE US THE STONE, GRINDA! DON'T YOU DARE GO BACK ON OUR DEAL!" screams a dwarf, as the thugs try to open the door
"NEVER!" Responds a woman's voice, presumably Grinda "THERE'S JUST SO MUCH I CAN DO WITH THIS! YOU SIMPLETONS WOULD NEVER UNDERSTAND!"
Cat wrinkles her nose to the smells of the dockside area, "I never liked this part of the city, dead fish, and excrement, course there's plenty of places to hide. Piers, how about a fog cloud, wait, first let me find another way in." she thinks to Piers as she dismounts, "We need to get at least a Waterdevian (English style) saddle! I'm kinda bruised."
If Kess has followed along she says in a whisper "Kess, if its necessary, can you stay invisible and put the humans to sleep? "
Perception for looking for another way in. 24 in game log.
Winded as he was from the journey, even had he and Lore managed to acquire some temporary transportation, Drux could only say through the link should he catch Cat's words to Kess, 'Might escalate things a bit if people start dropping... but would even the odds a bit for us to go in and start throwing hands to clear'em away if that's the play' He then takes a look at the exterior, seeing at first if there was any other easy means of egress from the front before adding, 'But paired with the right distraction like... say a drunken dragonborn claiming to be a mage, I could draw a few away at least? Wouldn't even need to get that close to pull it off.'

Cat shakes her head in disagreement and thinks back "I think they're too focused on their task, so no, not a good idea. If Piers spell could leave a two foot area between the door and street, Kess's attacks, would be unnoticed."
Piers reverts back to human and speaks his mind "A direct confrontation would be unwise..I can cast fog that will cover let's say 40ft..Then if there is a side entrance we get in, snatch the stone and we leave at once.Preferably without bloodshed"
Drux opens his mouth as if to say something -- several things, in fact -- only to sigh, resisting the urge to poke holes or argue further. 'Doubt she'll let us even if we tried. Let's just get the stone and slip away if we can. The less she's aware of us, the less likely she'll be able to track us done personally with magic... though I can't say the same for the stone if it isn't protected somehow... But baby steps.'

To explain reason why we are going to such lengths Cat's thoughts are broadcasted to the group flippantly.
"When we rescued, Renaer Neverember Mi lords son, from the warehouse on Candle Lane. Renaer told us about Xanathars attempts in trying to ascertain the whereabouts of the Stone of Golorr."
"Course that lead us to rescuing Floon on Volo's quest and out new home. I think Degault or Renaer Neverember might give us an extravagant reward for the stone. Anyways, its best to keep it out of nefarious hands."
"The grailhulds were in league with the cult of vecna and they were looking for the stone as well, now the xanathar guild looks for it and Kelemvor knows who else..I think this stone must be destroyed..look how much trouble it caused "

With a nod, Cat jumps on "We'll still be able to talk mentally, for awhile." she mentally says, as they ride away. (Including Piers)
she tries to short rest as she rides but, with the map, gives directions as she does.

Lore nods, "Two birds, one stone: Take it back and ask to borrow some horses? I could send Kess ahead to alert Nim."
(( Kess' movement is 40' and she can fly in a straight line ))

(mylo?)
Cat thinks to Lore "If you will, send Kess with us, so you guys know where to go."
(Check the map in the first part of the ooc: You see Piers heading southward towards the dock ward.
The house of inspired hands is to the west.)
