right after fala ends her report, you feel someone touching your shoulder. a woman was trying to get cat attention, and she quickly points to one of the roofs "i saw who did it! I tell you, it was not a man. More like a puppet shaped like a man. A puppet without strings. It was on the rooftop. It hurled something into the crowd below that caused the explosion. I saw those halflings burned alive! I saw them!”

 The woman's statement intrigues' Cathern the most She looks to the indicated roof top as she says I know its horrid, "I've never met the gnome or the others before. And it saddens me. But thank you for helping." 

She turns to Lore who hopefully got the neckless "Could you send Kess over there? Tell her to look for a large animated doll"

She points to the roof top.

Piers goes upstairs and gets dressed as he was in his boxer underwear.He hastily goes outside were he sees the devastation and the bodies all around "Gods help us!"

Drux yawns as he stretches. He rolls over to his side. “Man what a rest. How did you gu….” looking around and seeing no one he calls out while standing quickly, “HELLO!?”

Seeing the door left ajar, he gears up and runs to the door. “What the…” looking up and down the street at the carnage, Drux seeks to find his friends.

Cat suddently remembers something from her childhood. she remembers that during Autumn, the The House of Inspired Hands; temple of Gond; celebrates the day of wonders by sendint their automatons to march in a parade of display of their inventions. the automatons share a striking similarity to the puppets described by the woman

She says to Drux and Piers  "Come here we need you"  and the rest "We need to check the Bent Nail next for a singed man with a limp.."

Pier walks faster getting to his companions. "Alright, alright I am here looks its an emergency by the look of those bodies.!"

Cat looks around once again looking to see if at least one person is still alive but she asks Piers "Do you see anyone here still alive?." she tries to prompt him to do a medicine check. After the results, she moves towards the Bent nail shop, beckoning her friends to follow.

As they move she relates quietly "The woman over there told me she saw someone that looked like a puppet or mannequin on the roof top throw something then a fireball exploded. The boy Lore got the neckless from said it fell from the sky. I think he was near that roof top."

She breaths and has a distant look. "I grew up here in Waterdeep my adoptive parents used to take me to the parade, the House of Inspired hands would put on every year, during autumn I would watch with glee as these things called floats horseless things would have musical bands made of automatons shaped like humanoid bunnies mice, bears and other things.(Chunky Cheese style but more realistic ) Animated wolves chasing animated people around in circles on the floating platforms. They even had an animated Dragon once."

She glances towards the roof tops then back to the task at hand.

"The automaton, If that's what it was. I'm thinking this thing may belong to them. Or they can help find out why this happened."

Lore asks Kess to look for signs of where this supposed automaton might of run -- tracks or traces on the roof; there must a lot if leaves and dirt, hopefully some were disturbed. While she is within range. He crouches down, linking his senses with hers, trtying to track though neither are proficient. Hopefully two minds and one set of senses will be better than one.
