After ending one, Mala moves swiftly past Ghurr to slash into VC D. It shakes as it moves now, just about holding it together, but in vain - Thurodim appears next to Mala and drives it into the ground, scattering pieces of wood everywhere. In his blind rage he continues on to the creatures moving towards Faera. Wham! Wham! Another reduced to firewood. (Thurodim, choose B or C, it took both your other attacks to take it down so sadly no hat-trick)
Only one now remains, unaware or uncaring of its companion's demise.
Ghurr and Illithir, back to you two. You both have the range to reach whichever one remains, with either melee or ranged.

Ghurr looks sadly at the plant creatures around them and the broken vines and branches. But he still steps forward, swing his glaive around hard, and again, before twirling the back end Bri the centre of the greenery.

Attack 1: Attack: 21 Damage: 14
Attack 2: Attack: 15 Damage: 15
Bonus Attack: Attack: 29 Damage: 12
That'll do it. The last of these viney constructs reaches out for Faera one last time, but its arm suddenly drops to the floor, severed by Ghurr's first strike. The butt of his glaive rams its head upwards and he drives the blade down through its core from its throat. It collapses to the ground without a clatter.
Silence descends on this elaborate bedchamber, now strewn with chunks of gilded wood.
Thurodim keeps hacking away at the pesky vine creatures while slowly calming down. He then steps over to Mala with a worried expression. "You okay Mala? Maybe we should rest now?" He asks, trying to remember why the team is in this very hostile tower.
Mala sheathes her blades and slumps to the ground. "I could use a rest. Thanks for looking out for me." She stays still for a moment, catching her breath. She still looks pretty heavily injured. (Presently 5/44 hp.) She pulls out what looks like a small wooden branch and casts Goodberry, creating 10 berries in her hand. Slowly she starts to eat them one by one.

Thurodim grunts in agreement with Ghurr, then following him, ready to back the gentle giant up against any threats emerging as he opens the closed door.
He then remembers the door he was listening at before they were attacked and goes back to it and opens it.
As you think about these creatures you make your way back to the door, Thurodim behind you. These two looming figures pause at the threshold, one hairy hand on the handle. Silence from the other side.
Throwing back the door you discover... an elaborately decorated close stool. To one side you see a washbasin and a water jug, long empty. You have discovered the Wizard's toilet.
Thurodim looks at the elaborately decorated stool with great suspicion at first until he realizes what it is and gets a somewhat strained expression. "Um, Ghurr, can I have the use of that...in private?" He says with a pleading face, some urgency in his tone.
With a grateful grunt the massive half-orc closes the door and tries to make use of the fancy chair, keeping Skullcleaver close of anything animates and attacks.
"A rest is a good idea. I'm low on spell slots, but are we thinking a short rest? A long rest in a tower we haven't cleared... makes me a little weary." Faera remarks.
"Just a short rest," Mala says, having consumed all the berries but still looking wounded. (15/44 hp now) "I agree, let's not stay here overly long. I'd hope we could get back to town by the time it is time for bed."
"Yes. Ghurr put feet up. Take quick nap. All ready to go again," Ghurr says as he pushes away twigs and branches to find somewhere comfortable to sit down.

Thurodim keeps hacking away at the pesky vine creatures while slowly calming down. He then steps over to Mala with a worried expression. "You okay Mala? Maybe we should rest now?" He asks, trying to remember why the team is in this very hostile tower.
Ghurr pokes around in the piles of cracked and broken wood, looking for any sign of how these creatures got here or what set them off.
"Rest here?" Ghurr suggests. "Just move some twigs out of the way."
He then remembers the door he was listening at before they were attacked and goes back to it and opens it.

Ghurr pats Thurodim on the shoulder and returns to the middle of the room.
