Vex’s eyes and glaive go white, as he is asleep and the colour shows he is still alive yet doesn’t have any emotion at the moment, because he is unconscious.
Drezmir nods, he'd figured as much, "I see. If it is not possible for you to meet us inside, that is understandable. We can deal with Simon on our own if needed. I'm not sure if trying to have Robin's men help us is the greatest idea if we want to stay on Simon's good side. None of us want to assume he's...well, the problem... but now that he's indirectly told us to get lost or else..." He hesitates, "Well, either there is a lot more going on then we'd initially thought, or Simon has been behind the goblins and the Jet brothers all along. What I don't understand is, what does he have to gain from it? From what we've heard in town, most people think highly of him."
He lets out a breath and crosses his arms, "We will free Robin's men, the question is whether or not to do it before or after speaking with Simon. I'd rather avoid a fight if we can, there is no reason things can't be resolved simply with words. Also...could you give us a brief description of the interior of the Manor? This would be a lot easier if we had access to floor plans, or if someone who already knew the building was coming with us."
He hesitates before looking at Gwen, "Are you sure causing a fight at the front of the manor is the best idea? What will happen if things go poorly for us inside? The last thing we want is for you and your men to be punished. ...when was the last time you spoke to Simon? Are you on good terms with him or bad? Why not try to enter the manor to speak to Simon before starting a brawl. Bring your men with you, and tell the guards at the manor that you need to speak to Simon about something important. If it turns into an argument...well that might be just as good of a distraction as a brawl would be. If it turns into a fight, then it would be no different from the original plan. However, if you manage to get them to let you into the manor, you might be able to meet us inside...so long as they don't force you to allow an escort. Even so, I still think that having you speak to Simon first might help us better evaluate the situation, and if you can avoid injury to yourself and your men thats a bonus as well. If the guards send an escort with you, we can wait and lay low while you speak to your brother...perhaps one of us can sneak in behind you to listen in on the conversation and help if things get sticky."
He pauses, smiling a little, "Honestly, I've never actually broken into a house before, much less a guarded manor, so perhaps I'm thinking about this in the wrong way."
Gwen takes a deep breath and nods looking to Drezmir. She was grateful.. That Drez had given her brother the benefit of the doubt but.. In her heart of hearts she knew the truth. She wouldn't let her love for her brother lead her astray.
"Well.. The Jet Brothers and the goblins were stealing from traders.. And outsiders, adventurers and were forced to give the lions share to the town. He told us we were ready for trade ages ago but I always thought we weren't ready... Maybe we weren't. Maybe instead we stole from the outside world to get where we are. Even if that's the case.. I can't condone it. As for the Manor the entrance I had shown you is an old lab. Up the staircase the room leads to the highest floor. His office should be in the highest floor but even I'm not sure where he holes up anymore. The first floor has the mess hall and town hall barracks. The second floor has the library, clinic, court and the very top floor? Well.. Simon hadn't allowed me access there after he started changing the manor around. But with my entrance you shouldn't have to worry about the first two floors. I really hope we can talk instead.. My men won't fight out in the front unless we hear fighting in the inside."
Gwen had taken a breath surprised he had asked her interpersonal relationship with her brother but.. It had made sense. She collected herself before she began to speak.
"As for the fight I am not sure, I only know that it'd give you guys a distraction to make sneaking on the third floor easier. As for poorly inside.. He is very powerful, I need to warn you one last thing. He can cast this spell.. A blizzard of sorts.. I don't know the spell's name but he can only cast it once per day. I know Ice sounds silly but... It's dangerous. Incredibly so, so much so I almost thought of baiting him to use it on me before you guys came to fight him. It requires a strong physical constitution to resist and even than it could still really.. Do a lot of damage. But I'd need backup for my men if I was going to be bait for that attack. I can't guarantee I'll stay conscious after the attack. I'll most likely live and even if I don't well.. I can't expect to gain anything without some risk. As for talking to him.. We used to train and laugh and play all the time. The last time we talked ended in a argument and a blowout. We fought.. I lost badly. He lost his temper as did I. He hurt me.. Pretty bad it's how I learned about that spell actually.. Heh. He made sure I was tended to and taken care of.. But he's avoided me ever since. Tell the guards I have to speak with Simon..? They may just send me away again. Still I could try as a distraction maybe? Hmm.. Hmm.. I can try all of that. I can't promise anything but it's worth a shot right? Heh.. I don't really break into places myself so I'm not sure the way to go about this."
OOC: Jess can patrol for 2 hours without losing the benefits as long as she doesn't battle ^^
Kocino can keep watch for 4 hours because of Trance. And if they are attacked after 4 hours he will be back in action ready to go.
Corvus listens to Gwen and Drezmir talk about the plan. To him, it sounds like they are going in practically blind. He expected as much. This blizzard spell sounds interesting. Perhaps he will get the chance to see it in action. He hopes he can, as long as he is out of it's range.
Gilded is awake, ready to go. He asks Gwen. "How long before you are at the front of the manor, we need to start into the secret entrance about the same time you show up in front."
Drezmir nods to Gwen, “Thanks, all of that information should prove invaluable on this mission. Even if our knowledge of the manor is incomplete, just knowing a little will greatly increase our chances of success.”
He listens quietly as she tells about Simon then says, “I see. I’m sorry to hear that. He…really messed up there, I wonder if he’s avoiding you out of guilt, or if he’s really just angry that you found out about that spell.” He clenched his fists, then relaxes letting out a breath before continuing, “Though, perhaps this is an opportunity to resolve matters between you…if you can find a way to speak with him. Perhaps we should come up with a plan to meet up inside before we confront him. We can wait a few minutes for you to join us, and if you don’t show within that time limit, we will carry on with the original plan.”
He smiles, “Does anyone here have experience breaking into places?” He looks curiously at Vex, who has rolled up on the ground, “Perhaps we should ask him when he wakes up.”
He looks to each of his companions who are still awake, “What are your thoughts on this matter. Is it worth it use time to wait for Gwen inside? Or should we just follow through with the original plan? Also, what about Robin’s men? It would probably be better to free them before confronting Simon, just in case we are unable to complete the mission. However, doing so also runs the risk of them interfering with our hopefully peaceful confrontation. We don’t want fighting to be our first choice here…right?”
“Where I lived, we don’t even have palaces, just… bigger huts. I think we should free Robin’s men if given the chance, but they can watch our backs when we encounter Simon.”
Gilded chimes in. "I think we should just continue with the original plan. I think trying to get too complicated leaves too many ways for a plan to go wrong. If we keep it simple and we know what she is doing and she knows what we are doing, it would go better. As to Robins men, aren't they criminals either way? Why would we release criminals?"
(OOC: I am assuming we have all rested, and this is after the rest)
Gwen looks to the ground before looking back up at Drezmir with a somber smile. She wasn't sure what it was but.. This wasn't about her closure.
"I've.. Tried to meet with him. He never see's me.. I don't know if I could."
Gilded hadn't agreed to to freeing any outside help in the form of thieves. Gwen knew this would have to be further discussed in the morning. She didn't agree with crime either but she was determined to make things right in Glazing Wind by any means.
An hour had passed as the first guard of those watching (First two hour guards) the elves trancing and the others sleeping. Gwen was keeping an eye out trying to listen for anything. She was almost certain.. Someone followed them. At least she had a feeling.

[b Those in a trance can either roll disadvantage or a flat -5. OOC: In the PHB page 23 it says that Trance elves are "Semi Conscious" so he's still gonna be a little less perceptive for 4 hours just not as much as someone full sleeping.
Gilded was getting in a long rest. Might as well if everyone is.
OOC: Kocino has Trance so he long rests in 4.

How does Sloden remain awake and still get a long rest?
Is he doing 2 hour guard?
Or do you mean his 4 hour trance?
Kocino sits with his back to a tree and begins to meditate.
OOC: Sloden just has to remain still for 4 hours. He’s still conscious.
It's part of his race stuff. You can always check the character sheet if you want to examine the details

How much time has passed since Vex fell asleep in game?
Wait nevermind I saw it now
One hour passed so far. Vex’s perception because he is asleep: 7
