In his wild fury, Szazzul flies across the expanse to take on Rex and Solomon.
Claws+Bite vs. Rex: 19 for 16, 28 for 10, 14 for 30. If one of the first two attacks knocks out Rex, the remaining will target Solomon.
The remaining prisoner tries valiantly to assist Elon against the remaining troll: 19 for 7
With that, we are at the top of the initiative order and Bründir's force joins the fray! 17. Bründir calls out in dwarven and his formation begins a short, syncronized chant. A faint corona of light grows from the back ranks and a sudden warmth fills everyone during this horrible fight.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rex's strikes are no match for Szazzul's hide.
The champions squared against Rex and Solomon is emboldened by its master's presence and strikes at Rex: 7 for 9, 16 for 11, plus 11 if either attack hits.
The other champion will Dash to Evelyn, eliminating the gap between the two.
The troll, unphased by the sudden darkness, will flail through blindness to hit Elon: 11 for 10, 9 for 12, 8 for 7

The back row of Bründir's phalanx step forward and raise their shields. Their weapons become beacons of divine radiance and the swing they deliver launches a spear of sunlight at a distant target.
6 radiant bolts, cast at lvl 2:
Vs. Champion (Evelyn): 21 for 22, 9 for 22
Vs. Champion (Rex): 11 for 18
Vs. Szazzul: 9 for 15, 21 for 22, 9 for 13

Seeing the dragon bear down on he and Rex, Solomon extends a hand over Rex’s shoulder, “Excuse me.” With that, he fires another Magic Missile, this time at 3rd level, and fires 5 (turns out last time it was supposed to be 6 blasts, whoops) magical missiles boosted with Alchemical Casting into the skull of Szazzul for 15 force damage each! Oh that’s bad...
Edit: wait whoops, that’s a d20, it’s actually 2d10, so 6 +3 = 14 force damage each which equals 70 force damage total.
Additonal Edit: Aaaand that’s pretty much all my magic gone
In a flare of incredible timing and precision aim, Solomon's missiles rip into Szazzul's maw and tears through the back of his skull. The Great Shadow becomes a great corpse. The black cloud surrounding Elon lifts

The darkness was universally blinding, so all attack rolls are at disadvantage. However, the darkness has dissapeared with Szazzul's death. You, the troll, and the remaining prisoner (gritty survivor!) can see clearly now.
