The first arrow misses its fatal target, but still scores a terrible gash along Myschael's arm. The second is offset at the final moment by another semi-metallic flash.
(Both hit, but the second is narratively a near-miss. Not all hp damage contacts with flesh. Sometimes it's a bit of luck spent to avoid that potentially fatal attack ;) )
Myschael extends an arm toward Solomon and Evelyn. Without any fladh of light, the area erupts as though a lightning bolt struck the ground between them. After the eruption, she retreats to the opposite side of the gatehouse roof, out of sight.
(CON save, DC 17 from Solomon and Evelyn, or take 30 thunder damage and be stunned until the end of Myschael's next turn. Half dmg and no stun on success.)

(Might be giving away a bit more of the mystery, but like Tadriel, this isn't a "spell" per se. However, I'll consider this a spell for the sake of argument and it is being cast as a 7th level spell, so DC 17 still. Keep in mind that Counterspell is an ability check rather than a save just in case a feature/item gives a bonus to one over the other.)

Solomon throws up his hands at the last minute in front of he and Evelyn, trying to trace along the lightning to disturb the spell, 15 (Luck: 20), and by the skin of his teeth manages to nullify the magic! He is, however, visibly sweating bullets. “I bought us a second, Evelyn, keep doing what your doing!”
Unfortunately very little is available unless you'd like to get up close behind Elon, Rex, or Talvus. The wall is designed to be defended against outside threats and the side facing into the city is low enough to stop accidental slips. Walls like these are most vulnerable when the two sides are both actively fighting each other on the wall. The gatehouse is just ahead and the soldiers that came initially are nearly all dead.

OOO: OH! My bad! I got so caught up that I forgot I was next!
Solomon has the nagging suspicion that whatever god allowed him to kill that dragon won’t let him do the same here. Almost as if fate has corrected itself after horribly misunderstanding a sacred text. In light of this, Solomon pulls out a dagger, “I have literally never used this. First time for everything!” Solomon extends the blade towards Myschael and his form discorporates into ash as he uses Steel Wind Strike, (One attack against her, and four Guards: Attack: 23 Damage: 31, Attack: 26 Damage: 32, Attack: 27 Damage: 31, Attack: 22 Damage: 34, Attack: 20 Damage: 19 force damage). Sudden slashes appear as Solomon’s form once again appears behind the furthest guard that he could attack. He looks as though he’s about to vomit for a moment, but recovers, “That... that’ll take some getting used to.”
(As much as I love that spell, keep in mind there's 1 guard with 12hp left, so you basically just turned him to pulp :P)

Solomon's attack rips through all adversaries as Myschael retreats for cover atop the gatehouse.
As the mage retreats, Talvus charges and leaps atop the structure in a single leap. The sound of clashing and fighting quickly follows.
As the last soldier falls, shouting erupts from atop the wall. Arrows can be seen sailing from the wall toward the approaching formations. A pile of rubble also falls away from the door ahead and arrows sail forth to keep you all at bay.
Vs. Rex: 16 for 8, 11 for 4
Vs. Elon: 9 for 7, 16 for 8
Vs. Evelyn: 8 for 10, 23 for 9
Vs. Solomon: 14 for 6, 24 for 7
In the distance, a dark mass among the black night begins to pours forth from the central keep. The occupying force seems to have been ready for an attack or else it would still be at least an hour before they could mobilize like this. Outside, Bründir and the Alvernian vanguard is quickly approaching, but still have a long dash to get to the gate. As the scene unfolds, a familiar, disembodied voice penetrates your mind, "Talvus won't protect you now!"

The rubble is cleared from the doorway enough to enter and several archers can be seen within manning arrow slits and firing at the approaching force. At Rex and Elon's approach, they shout to retreat and a couple begin down the flight of stairs to the gateway below.
(If you have any thrown weapons, feel free to let them loose now. Otherwise, you can take cover near the doorway. The few that shot at you before have moved further in and won't be shooting out again since there's closer threats at hand.)

Rex and Elon can make out a notched wheel on a wall with a chain that runs into the floor. It seems like the most likely mechanism to open the gate.
Evelyn's arrows kill an enemy instantly while another falls mortally wounded nearby. A commotion can be heard on the roof as Talvus seems to have met more resistance than anticipated. Shouts from the opposite end of the enclosed building hint at more archers outside. Several people can be heard below, some barking orders, others yelling to one another in a rush to secure the gate against possible rams.
(Just for clarity, I'm leaving the Soldiers in initiative order for future actions. There's a large handful of them both on the wall outside the opposite door and down below at the gate, so whichever way you choose, I'll just use whatever is already in place.)
Attack! 17 for 37
An arrow sails from the street below and slams into Solomon's hip. The projectile hits like a charging bull and a strange force of the impact causes your mind to shudder momentarily. Down below, Tadriel appears to have caught up, but he's brought company: another elf bearing a longbow and a pair of sheathed blades.
