(The weapons they have are your standard rat bastard faire, so shortswords/scimitars/daggers. To be fun, I'll say Bandit A has a light crossbow. As for armor, they are all wearing variations of the same - leather or studded leather. I'll say Bandit C has studded leather that has metal bits on it, but the others don't seem to have any metallic bits on them.)

Three of the four bandits suddenly fall prone, asleep.
21 - Bandit C (ZZZ) 18 - Midnight 18 - Bandit A (ZZZ) & D (ZZZ) 16 - Alakazam & the Knight 13 - Bandit B and E
The last one of the four standing here momentarily blinks and starts to go, "H...huh?"

The Knight rushes towards the group of bandits and grabs a scimitar off one of the snoozing bandits. She slashes at the bandit that's still awake, giving him little time to react to the situation.
Midnight stays by Alakazam's side and casts Ray of Frost on the same bandit the Knight is targeting.
Knight Movement: moving into melee with Bandit B Free Interaction: grabbing a scimitar off a snoozing bandit Action: attacking Bandit B with scimitar Attack: 7 Damage: 4
Midnight Action: casting Ray of Frost on Bandit B Attack: 25 Damage: 7 On a hit, target's speed is reduced by 10 ft until the start of Midnight's next turn.
21 - Bandit C (ZZZ) 18 - Midnight 18 - Bandit A (ZZZ) & D (ZZZ) 16 - Alakazam & the Knight 13 - Bandit B (-4) and E
The Knight rushes the still standing bandit, but she swings just short of his face. "Tch. I'm more accustomed to longer blades than this." (She still has an extra attack. She can attack again when she takes the attack action!)
Midnight's rays hit that same bandit. The cat meows loudly as part of the verbal component, apparently.
Alakazam can still act as well.

Since everyone is still asleep, all three of you take your turns.

Midnight hisses at yelling bandit, sending a [spell]Ray of Frost[/bandit] at him. Following suit, Alakazam conjures another card and throws it at the same bandit. If Midnight and Alakazam's attacks are not enough to fell the bandit, they move 30 ft away from the bandit and the Knight grabs another scimitar off the ground (dual wielding now) and rushed him.
Midnight Action: cast Ray of Frost on Bandit E Attack: 18 Damage: 6 Movement: 30 feet away from Bandit E
Alakazam Action: cast Eldritch Blast on Bandit E Attack: 19 Damage: 9 Movement: 30 feet away from Bandit E
Knight Free interaction: pick up another scimitar off a snoozing bandit Movement: moving into melee with Bandit E Action: two scimitar attacks against Bandit E Attack 1: 11 Damage: 6 Attack 2: 7 Damage: 6 Bonus Action: offhand scimitar attack against Bandit E Attack: 23 Damage: 6
21 - Bandit C (ZZZ) 18 - Midnight 18 - Bandit A (ZZZ) & D (ZZZ) 16 - Alakazam & the Knight 13 - Bandit E (-8)
(That's actually amazing!)
The Knight is off her game, claiming the heft of these blades is still not as heavy as what she is used to using. However, despite all that she nearly cuts him down in her second blow. Based on this bandit's appearance, he looks like he could die if anyone so much as breathed on him.
It would appear he knows it too.
"I surrender, please, don't kill me!" He throws down his weapon and holds his hands up.

The magician motions the knight and Midnight to cease combat for a moment to see if the bandit would listen to his orders.

Alakazam waits for the bandit to walk completely inside the cage before approaching him. If the bandit does not lock the cage then Alakazam does so.
The magician then tells the Knight and Midnight to take care of the other sleeping bandits, one by one. The Knight using her double scimitars to slash at their vitals while Midnight would cast Shocking Grasp. (Considering the bandits are asleep and prone I figure this duo could take care of the sleeping bandits on their own easily, but if you still want attack and damage rolls lemme know).
(I'll rule that its fine for your NPCs here to easily get kills in, even if the idea of a sleeping target sleep dodging is hilarious.)
"The, the hell man! Why are you killing my friends? I surrendered!"

As blade and sorcery falls upon the bandit's friend, Alakazam turns his back to the bandit to watch the bloody scene. "It's unfair isn't it..." the magician turns to the bandit, "...to think that the night would be filled with merrymaking and a good time. Only to find death knocking at your door, at the hands of some strangers you've never met. Without any warning to say your goodbyes or any means to stop death's approach."
"Who am I?" Alakazam removes his mask and recalls the various people who died at the circus and at the hands of these bandits. As he continues to speak, he uses his shapeshifting abilities to change into those he speaks about.
"I was a baker, who woke up early in the morning everyday to fire the ovens and provide for his family."
"I was a mother of three beautiful children, with another on the way."
"I was a conjurer with so much potential."
"I was a magician's assistant. Who cherished everyone's happiness just as much as my own."
"I was a weakling. Who couldn't do anything more than watch his lover die."
"Who am I?" Alakazam stares fiercely at the bandit before putting his mask back on, "I am the one who will avenge the unfairly fallen. The one who will protect the smiles of the innocent. The one who will excise the cancer that is evil. And the one that has determined you and your ilk are a tumor..."
"No... no... you are one of those circus people... I thought you were all dead or captured..." The man is bewildered. "No... this is... this is witchcraft! How-how-how are you doing that!?" He is properly spooked.

Alakazam decides to take advantage of the bandit's fear and proceeds to interrogate him, "The question isn't how I'm doing it, but what I'm going to do to you. Your friends are lucky to have died whilst sleeping. I intend to make you suffer the same pain every singleone of your victims suffered. However, if you can give me some useful information I may be persuaded to make your death swift and painless. Tell me is this everyone from the circus massacre, or is their more of your group lurking about these lands?"
Intimidation Check (if needed): 14 (Note: I rolled in game log but accidentally rolled deception instead. Given that Alakazam's deception and intimidation have the same bonus, I chose to use the same roll.)
"Please, please, Ilmater... someone, please..." The bandit cries and prays. He seems deathly afraid, for good reason of course. "I'll tell you what you want to know, but let me out, please..."
At this point, the air is filled with the soiled smell of blood and piss. The Knight makes her way over to you after having cleaned one of the blades she picked up. "Pathetic weapons, these." She is looking around for any sign of it. She doesn't seem to care that you are threatening to torture this man.
"Listen, I'll tell you everything, but please let me out of here!"
