The tiny creature snatches the persimmon and leaps into the air, winging its way through the carnival atmosphere of the night market.

(A bit of a chase as you try to keep it in sight as it flies to its other friend. Roll Initiative, then you can roll a d20 and add your Acrobatics as a base action to keep pace and possibly catch up. If you have something else you'd like to try, describe what you're doing and roll with the appropriate modifier for that Skill instead. Since you would not be pushing for speed through the busy night market, non-Acrobatic checks are likely to lose a bit of distance, but have the potential to pay off in other ways. This is homebrew and fluid, so convince me something make sense and we'll go with it!))

Tandor calls for his companions to follow him and the creature and does the same, his mind working furiously. There was no way he could catch the flying beast but perhaps he could use his mind instead of his body. He'd always been good at figuring out what people were thinking, what they were going to do next...and not just people. He had plenty of clues from the night, if he could just put them together....
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
ooc: Tandor trying to use Insight to "...or predicting someone’s next move." to guess where the thing is going, not necessarily ultimately, but perhaps more of a general thing, allowing Tandor to follow but not in a straight line. Maybe he cuts corners, dashes through a merchant's area, that sort of thing.

Mialee puts away her knife, but keeps the rest of the persimmon in one hand as she runs through the market. Her 35 ft. move speed makes her faster than most, and she tries to leverage that through her natural agility to keep pace with the flying blue animal.
"Seems like the plan is to hunt down the spice merchant- then once the blue thing tells about what they did and how Aroon told them to, he'll hopefully confess or we'll have to convince the other merchants or the council we saw earlier to believe us."
She pauses, then adds-
"And just in case, I would be ready for a fight. Aroon might be some sort of summoner; you'd know more about that than I would, though."
Liber is a bit taken by surprise and confers with Mialee what the plan is.
((Liber, Acrobatics is the base check, but you can do other actions instead, if you can justify them. Also roll a d20 for me to see if any complications arise.))

Mialee catches the 'more treats' and dutifully gives over the second eighth of persimmon.
"Okay! New friends follow!"
