ooc: would it be faster if we all rolled multiple times for this? idk how many rolls are necessary but it seems like getting it all done at once might be more efficient.
((I was just thinking that. Acrobatics, as default, or anything you want to try instead, and 2 d20 rolls each round should cover bases, second may not be needed, but then I have it.))

Acrobatics (replace this with something else if you want to try something that doesn't involve dashing through the market to try to keep pace): d20: d20:
Mixtli is able to keep pace, following Liber as much as the flying creature that is flitting about. As Tandor makes to follow, a shabbily dressed fellow steps in front of him.
"Please sir, spare a few copper?"
The cleric glances up to where the creature is getting farther away, but notices it keeps looking back, and he suspects it isn't trying to lose them, but is just having fun (insight used). He turns his attention back to the fellow in front of him.
((You have your rolled 12 to potentially put towards the complication of the beggar, how would you like to resolve him?))
Tandor grasps the man's shoulders with a firm, but gentle grip and moves him to the side. "I must leave you friend," he says as does this. Then he steps away, tosses the man a few coppers, and resumes his movement. Always, he keeps a mental eye and hand on the package under his armor.
A few coppers strewn to the side gets the fellow out of Tandor's way, and he's able to keep moving.
A fellow in a yellow outfit carrying a large hooked polearm steps in front of Liber. He extends the weapon and calls out, "I don't want to profile, but you match the description of a suspect in a attempted attack earlier tonight. Stand down and come with me!"
@Mixtli, Trencher and Tandor
You see Liber being confronted by one of Sid Squid's sous chefs who helped with the prawn wrangling and cooking.
((Liber, how do you want to try to resolve being halted by this fellow? You rolled a 3 to be applied to your next check... while it would be possible to just try to ignore him and move past, you're not sure how he'd respond.))
((I'll take rolls for Trencher, Mixtli and Tandor yet for this round!))
