A lone hobgoblin (D) is the first to appear. He shouts to the others behind him in goblin: [Spoilers for those who can understand goblin.]

That same hobgoblin runs forward (dash), unaware of Kiersa laying in wait! [Kiersa make your attack of opportunity. If you want me to roll for you in the future, just let me know. You can also pre-emptively roll inside a spoiler when you make the ready. This pretty much goes for everyone here!]

Surprised, the hobgoblin stops in his tracks and shouts back in goblin:

 The minotaur arrives and stands opposite Iravon, starring him down. The minotaur huffs out its nose, smoke seeming to escape its nostrils. It seems to be ready for something.

Kiersa's readied attack (against Hobgoblin D):

Kiersa cuts him down in the first swing! [Hobgoblin D is defeated.]

Seeing Kiersa strike down the first goblin with ease, Mae decides to stay behind cover for the time being, keeping an eye on the minotaur (did they not respond to her message?) and the door to see if the other goblins come out. (taking the Hide action: 14 stealth to stay by the small building)

Empowering his voice with the strength of Maglubiyet, Iravon points to the Minotaur with the handle of his flail.

"You!" He shouts. "Kneel!"

Command: WIS save 14 required.

Minotaur wis save: 15

[Sorry, I just noticed this! My apologies. From your current position, you cannot see the minotaur et al (Mae is taking Val's word on this) and your voice wouldn't be in a great position to carry since its like walls and tall rubble in between you and possibly where the minotaur is standing. Feel free to amend your actions!]

[Forgive me party, I will properly update the map when I get home and my toddler hopefully doesn't sentence me to an early bedtime!!]

The Minotaur watches unflinchingly as Kiersa pops out and slays the hobgoblin who dared run forward without thinking. As Iravon attempts to subdue the great creature with his mind, the Minotaur barely shifts its stance. Staring Iravon head on. It shouts in a language you all don't understand, "Do not make light of this assault. Give them everything we've got!"

Only Valeria who is flying up high can see what the next set of hobgoblins do:

 Valeria feels she must act!

"Iravon! Kiersa! There are more of them coming? Be prepared to fall back if you risk being overwhelmed." Valeria calls out from then skies.
She holds off from attacking but keeps a good look out for the reinforcements she expects to join battle in a moment.

The last hobgoblin from the first group moves and strings their bow. They take aim at Iravon! They speak something to the minotaur, you think, but you don't understand what it says... it is speaking the same language as the minotaur! "Get into position already. We can't push our advantage unless we gain more ground! You will be supported soon in the air..."

Kiersa, your move!

Hobgoblin [C] is joined by another hobgoblin (E) that emerges from the room in the north! They take aim at Iravon as well!

[Okay now Kiersa can act!]

Hearing the warning from Valeria, Kiersa will remain in place (O11) backing up just slightly to still be able to strike any creatures that emerge but somewhat out of sight.  (Use READY to Attack any enemy that comes into range. No BONUS ACTION.)
