"If you need someone to back you up in case, now's a good time to let us know. Otherwise, give us the signal when the coast is clear ok?" Yurime says to Three before she pulls out the key to the next room.
"This next room might have more mummies, or it could be a trap..." She mutters under her own breath before raising her voice for everyone to hear. "Everyone, stand back... in case something horrible happens." She then inserts the key into the lock before twisting it slowly...

The door opens to reveal a quiet, non damaged room. Within it, there is a statue on a rotating base. The statue is of Netjebau with one arm out and his hand open. There are two hieroglyphs engraved in the floor, several feet apart. Lining the walls are several different objects, some of the ones you can make out are a scroll, a crown, a staff with Thoth's holy symbol engraved on it and a khopesh. Only one of the walls has no objects - instead, it holds an inscription that you will have to get closer to read.

Inside her head: Huh. Was expecting some sort of ambush...
Unlike Three who heads straight for the khopesh, Yuri paces over to the wall with the inscriptions before moving towards the one with the drawings, holding her fan in front of her face during this time as if she's masking herself. Investigation: 21
To three, the khopesh seems normal, though it is an older make. The inscription on the wall in front of Yurime reads: In his second century of his reign Netjebau was chosen by Thoth to channel his power. In this moment he came into his own as both a priest and a divine ruler. This helped him focus on the most important part of being Pharoah, a piece of wisdom which he held onto tightly. With further investigation, Yurime notices that the wall is weaker than the others, and appears to be made to fall down into the ground underneath itself.

"In his second century... chosen by Thoth...priest and a divine ruler... a piece of wisdom..." Yuri mutters to herself. It took her some time to comprehend on what she had to read since she's still learning this country's language, but she finally understood what it meant. It was only until she placed her clawed hand onto the wall that caused her to startle as soon as it crumbles slightly. Could this wall be waning since it was first built? Or was this wall actually a fake? She has no clue about it yet. "Hmm, there's a lot about this... Net... a... Je... Boh(?), bow (?) pharaoh. But... if Deshret is located inside here, why take her to this place and not the other pyramids? What's so significant about this?" She asks no one in particular as she glances at the unstable wall.
"Hmm, anyone know why this wall is as fragile as a blossoming Sakura unlike the others?" She asks the group before inspecting the hieroglyphs on the floor. She wanted to also inspect the other items that Three didn't pick up but she decides to leave it to the others if they are willing. "I can't read this text thoroughly... does anyone know how to translate this?" She asks as she examines them.

Rohar watches to see if Three will burst into flames or something. (I mean, you never really know). haha
When she hears Yurime ask about the writing, she looks back and says "I only know common and a tiny bit of slave giant speak, and Im not that great at those, my master didn't exactly want us smart."
Gnash watches from the doorway as the others explore the room and then listens attentively to Yuri read the inscription aloud. He scratches his snout contemplatively before opening it to offer a suggestion. "Perhaps we need to affix the statue with a selection of these items to progress? The text placed emphasis on his being both a priest and a ruler. What if we were to place the crown upon his head the the holy staff into his open hand?"

"It's fine if you don't. I'm just asking, that's all. I'm also still learning how to read them if you ask me." Yuri nervously replies.

The text placed emphasis on his being both a priest and a ruler. What if we were to place the crown upon his head the the holy staff into his open hand?"
That's right. The spinning statue. Yuri couldn't believe that she was the only one who ignored it entirely. She rises up from her squatting position at the hieroglyphs and gathers around the others who are investigating the statue. Taking note of the different items including the khopesh that Three grabbed, Yuri flashbacks to the inscription that she read.
"Hang on a moment." Yuri replies to Three as she raises her free hand and signals for him to stop for a while. "If Lizard guy says we need to assign those items to the statue in order to unlock some kind of door, don't just take the... um... funny sword just yet. What if it's one of the items that needs to be attached on... whichever hand it should go on?" After examining the statue and listening to Gnash's words, Yuri decides to do the easy bit and take the crown off the wall and place it onto the statue's head, bracing for any kind of effect that might harm her. Noticing the open hand, Yuri thinks that this must be the statue handing out something small. Like a waiter serving a dish. "I'm not sure if I'm right but, maybe the scroll or one of the weapons could go onto the outstretched, open hand... anyone want to do the honours?"
If no-one is willing to place the scroll or the weapons:
Yuri instinctively collects the scroll and places it onto the open hand. Piece of wisdom, she mutters. And that must be it. As for the staff, she glances at the khopesh that Three was holding, thinking that it was the item needed to be added. But she then glances to the staff, having Thoth's symbols carved on it; Chosen by Thoth so it would make sense to be holding something after the god itself, so she grabs the staff and places it on the statue's open hand.
"Sadly, for both you and me, I have to differ. If it is the symbol of Thoth, then it is a sign of wisdom. We probably need to but the khopesh in his open hand. He isn't gripping it, so it would be a sign of 'letting go of war,' which is quite wise. Then, we should read what is on the scroll to 'activate' the statue."

"Also, what's the statue holding so tightly."
"Hmm, I kind of know where you're going with this. Maybe it's one of the weapons and not the scroll that should be placed on the open hand then. All I'm concerned though is that the statue or something inside might retaliate against us if we put on the wrong item that's all. But if you all want to proceed then be my guest."
Investigation as Yuri peeks over the clenched hand: 18
In the clenched hand of the statue is another piece of oddly shaped sandstone. It looks like it might be inscribed with something, but unfortunately the hand of the statue is covering the relief and it is impossible to make out.
