Casey realizes her telekinesis isn’t doing any good against the huge wall, so she drops that spell and curses the wall with a hex, (BA) then shoots it twice with eldritch blast for 30 to hit 14 damage first attack and 26 to hit for 9 damage second attack. Her spiritual weapon hovers menacingly.
The wall takes 23 damage and now has disadvantage on strength checks.
Sorry folks - no time to post until later this afternoon. Posting this from mobile now - Aino will definitely try to Counterspell and use her bardic inspiration if she needs on the roll if she’s countering a higher level spell.
Ok ready now. Posting Aino'sreactionCounterspell to Death's (or Death's bratty kid's) Doom spell.
NOTE: this is NOT Aino's turn. This is a reaction happening during the demon wall's turn.
So Aino casts Counterspell as a reaction using a 3rd level spell slot. Presumably Doom is a higher level spell. So for Counterspell to work, Aino has to succeed on a check (not save, so no benefit from Bless or Storm's aura) using her spell-casting ability (INT+5). The DC for the check is 10 + level of spell. So 14 to counter 4th level spells, 19 to counter 9th level spells. (It automatically works for 3rd level spells or below since Aino is casting it at 3rd level). But I'm assuming this is DC 19 for a 9th level spell.
She also gets a +1 on all checks from her Stone of Good Luck (Luckstone). So 1d20+6. She is going to use her regular (DM) inspiration that she has been saving to roll with advantage and then add her Bardic Inspiration from Casey if needed.
Rolling using History since Aino happens to have a +6 for it, but this is the Counterspell DC19 check: 26 (Nat. 20 on 2nd die!)
So Aino'sCounterspell should work! Without needing the Bardic Inspiration. Now the question is, does someone or something counter the Counterspell which would need Casey to counter the counter to the counter as a reaction since Aino just used up her reaction?
By the way, if Casey ever has to do a similar Counterspell check, hers would be 1d20+8 instead of 1d20+6: +5 from CHA, +1 from the Stone of Good Luck (Luckstone) which she also has, and +2 from the Bard Jack of All Trades which adds half proficiency to all non-proficient checks like this one.
OOC: Thank you I keep forgetting about concentration
Concentration: 14 & 25 both without Bless still pass both
Order: Aino, Casey, Storm, Kileprat, Wall
Top of the order. Round 3 of 5 for the challenge. Aino is up.
@Bushawk: Aino just took her turn - see post 1282 a couple posts back. Did 32 damage and used Interposing Hand from Bigby's Hand.
Storm was just making his saving throws to maintain concentration on Bless since the wall had hit him before that.
But I think now, after Aino, it's Casey's turn.

Hit. Cracks are starting to form in the wall.
Storm is up
Storm slashes away at the wall "May the light purge you!"
Attack 1: Nat 20 Damage: 24 slashing + 18 radiant +5 more radiant because I rolled a Nat 20
Attack 2: 32 Damage: 12 Slashing + 15 radiant
Wow mega damage. The wall starts to crumble.
Kileprat is up.
1 hit 1 miss for 13 damage.
The wall is up.
Feeling the end the wall will use its trump card.
The demon points at each member of the party. A figure you recognize comes out of the ground.
Sooo we meet again. JOIN MY ARMY MUHAHAHA.
Death slashes each if you with its scythe become melting away.
The demon cast homebrew spell doom.
DC 20 Con save. On a fail HP =0 on a pass HP = 1.
End of round
Round 4 Aino is up after the saves
(Uh oh! Maybe one of us can counterspell aino? What level is it?).
don’t forget your inspiration if you haven’t used it yet. It’s a d10 now)
Here’s Casey saves: 18 plus 4 bless
with Storm bonus and bless. If she fails will reroll using inspiration next post..
19.. trying again…
23 plus 2
Whew! Casey’s still up with 1 HP. (She only has 3rd level slot for counterspell if that’s a possibility)

OOC: If anyone here plays Magic the Gathering, all of your countering the counter stuff makes me think of blue players in Magic
Nat 20 will do it. Unfortunately I did not think of a counter spell fight would have been epic. Nice job
Ah memories. I played a red deck heavy in sorcerys, lava axe for the win
(Oh yeah- haven’t played in many years, but I do remember countering counterspells). Who is up next? Finish off the wall?
