Ismark nods to them and get to his feet, making sure to leave the needed amount of money on the table. The party will notice that the coins are different from their own as they have the picture of a man printed on them.
As Patch grabs the pitcher of whine she will get a weird look from the three women and the bartender. They soon shrug and figure it is only a single lost pitcher.
Everyone in the tavern that is not in the party are human but a bit of magic comes from the three women as if they have inate abilities like some elves or other races do.
Ismark Will lead the party through the town to his home, this being the Burgomaster's mansion. Along the way the party passes the house of the woman who was still sobning.
A weary-looking mansion squats behind a rusting iron fence. The iron gates are twisted and torn. The right gate lies cast aside, while the left swings lazily in the wind. The stuttering squeal and clang of the gate repeats with mindless precision. Weeds choke the grounds and press with menace upon the house itself. Yet, against the walls, the growth has been tramped down to create a path all about the domain. Heavy claw markings have stripped the once-beautiful finish of the walls. Great black marks tell of the fires that have assailed the mansion. Not a pane nor a shard of glass stands in any window. All the windows are barred with planks, each one marked with stains of evil omen.
"Let me tell my sister we have arrived." Ismark says to them as he steps forward and quietly talks through the door with someone inside the house. Thendoor was soon opened by a woman that Ismark introduces as his sister Ireena.
Once her brother is inside she moves to let the party enter the large house.
The interior of the mansion is well furnished, yet the fixtures show signs of great wear. Noticeable oddities are the boarded-up windows and the presence of holy symbols in every room. The burgomaster is in a side drawing room on the floor — lying in a simple wooden coffin surrounded by wilting flowers and a faint odor of decay.
Hello mi'lady allow me to introduce myself. I am Sentinel Richmond and these here are my friends, I'll allow them to introduce themselves. Do not be frightened, they are quite alright.
Now first thing's first, what's he doing in a coffin here? Shouldn't he be buried in a graveyard?
Richmond will be pointing to the figure laying in the coffin.
Both of the siblings cringe when Richmond brings up the fate of the burgomaster and the current state of his body. "It has been three days since father died. His heart was unable to handle the stress of the nightly attacks from wolves and other terrible creatures. We have been unable to transport his body to the church. Ismark wished to do it but without aid it is not possible." Ireena says as she looks to her adopted brother who simply nods with a dour expression on his face.
"We planned before father died to leave this village and to travel to the town of Vallaki as it is said to be much better defended then our own." Ismark explains even as his sister glares at him for bringing it up while their father is still unburied.
"That would be the best. I will not leave this house until father is properly buried in the cemetery." Ireena said as she stopped and paused as she heard what sounded like a wolf outside the house, paws clawing at the door and around the house.
Is Mark readied his longsword and looked to Ireena who nodded and slowly backed into a more protected room. She seemed to be ready to fight but at the moment was putting a hand over her neck protection. "They do not usually try to attack but be prepared for anything."
Yes, I'm alright with leaving. If you're afraid of someone attacking you we can guard you.
Ismark nods to them and get to his feet, making sure to leave the needed amount of money on the table. The party will notice that the coins are different from their own as they have the picture of a man printed on them.

Yes, if you'd like we could help you bury your father and then escort you to Vallaki if you'd like.
Is that why you needed us?
"That would be the best. I will not leave this house until father is properly buried in the cemetery." Ireena said as she stopped and paused as she heard what sounded like a wolf outside the house, paws clawing at the door and around the house.
It sounds like we're not alone. Are they able to get inside or are we fine?
Is Mark readied his longsword and looked to Ireena who nodded and slowly backed into a more protected room. She seemed to be ready to fight but at the moment was putting a hand over her neck protection. "They do not usually try to attack but be prepared for anything."
Alright, is there anywhere you'd like me to be posted? I'm a pretty mean fighter with my glaive.
