Ander nods his hand in agreeance, "I'm in, I mean who doesn't like 100 gold and by the look of it not to many of you all are from Sharn, so you will need a local to show you around. One question though, why do you need so many people just to speak with one person?"
"The informant is a Warforged named Coal. They'll be waiting in the Cog Carnival, a bar in the High Walls. I need all of you because you each have a unique specialty that I need to bring these criminals to justice, and I fear for Coal's life."Germaine explains, handing over the writ and coin while gratefully accepting the bag of treats from Bas.
Aurora her eyes still locked on the folder in Vilroy's hand... and nods, "meet with a Warforged named Coal at the Cog Carnival bar in the High Walls. Sounds simple enough but few things seldom are as simple as they seem. Now do I get a peek at the folder now... or are you going to make me wait until the job is done?"
We have the writ. Does it say from who it is? Then it surely is enough
Ferdinand takes the coins he is given and deposits all but the last in one of the many pockets. The last he flicks in the air as if he'd flip a coin but he makes no effort to try and catch it with his hand. It instead lands on his shoulder at which point a tiny mechanical creature in the shape of a rhinoceros beetle scuttles out from under the coat-collar. It begins to dig it's tiny jaw into the coin, which is just as big as the construct itself.
Naedash's eyes peer intently at Vilroy. "You say do not want your own people mixed up in this, but there are criminals to bring to justice and an informant to protect. Why then do you send us and not your own watch guards?"
Aurora smirks at the one called Naedash's question directed at Vilroy. The Windrider murmurs, "perhaps there is a concern regarding the loyalty of her watch guards, that such information could be sold or leaked. Or perhaps her watch superiors have refused to sanction the operation forcing her to improvise with something off-the-books. After all, Sharn is a city known for its intrigues. In the end, does it really matter?"
Ander takes his coin and gives Laydd a big grin, “now I don’t know exactly where this Cog Carnival is, but I sure do know where the High Walls are.”
If everyone is ready Ander will lead the way to the High Walls.
Is everyone ready for the High Walls? (@Oddlot Germaine will be making you wait for the information) Or was there another stop anyone wanted to make with their shiny new gold?
The High Walls, a decrepit district in Lower Tavick's Landing is mostly enclosed, though looking upward gives the illusion of looking at the night sky, filled with stars but void of the rings. This action is not recommended however, as looking up in wonder may give you a facefull of surprise mystery liquid. The walls are filled with graffiti and hate towards the Cyran refugees that make their home here. Putrid smells pervade the atmosphere, and grime coats the whole district. You are not sure where Cog Carnival is exactly, but you think that most people here might know. Would you like to try to find the place on your own, searching the district, or try to find someone to ask directions from?
As Bas mentions the Cyran refugees Ander turns to him, "you see a fair few Brelish lost their lives to the people of Cyre, I get where your coming from but its hard for some to move on from the death of a loved one in only two years."

Farewell.
Bas divides the gold among the group and puts the writ in his pack. Looking back to Vilroy, he asks, “How will he know we are his contacts?”

Laydds coins quickly disappear beneath his cloak before turning to Anders "I believe it's your lead then, local."
Ander takes his coin and gives Laydd a big grin, “now I don’t know exactly where this Cog Carnival is, but I sure do know where the High Walls are.”

Bas stops packing the writ and shrugs as he hands it to Ferdinand. “I’m not a big reader.”

Bas takes a look around and catches the anti-Cyran sentiment. “That’s a shame. Why hate people who just want to live their life?”
He finds the nearest local and approaches. “Hello, I was wondering if you could point me to the Cog Carnival.”
As Bas mentions the Cyran refugees Ander turns to him, "you see a fair few Brelish lost their lives to the people of Cyre, I get where your coming from but its hard for some to move on from the death of a loved one in only two years."
