As the group approaches the house, they see a small house which appears to be in better condition than the ruined and dilapidated structures nearby. The doors are reinforced with heavy iron bands, and thick shutters protect the windows.

Boghadair says "Thaggy, maybe he's referring to the giant spiders, zombies, or the twig thingamajigs. Either way, Mister, we were able to clear the area of any danger that we have come across. Now kindly open the door and invite us in for a tea, it's rather rude having a conversation through a door."
After a few minutes of moving items around and unlocking the door, an older white bearded human stands before you. He is thin and poorly adorned. “Did you say you ate the dragon?”

Ian steps forward lowering his bow as to not be threatening, “this is a dangerous place, I am impressed that you have been able to live here. We are trying to rescue a friend. He has been taken to Cragmaw castle. Do you know where that is?”
"Yup, though Thagakh didn't bring any meat and left it at camp. If you want proof, ask Ian here. He stripped the dragon's valuable parts."
The half-orc looks at the old man questionably.
"As for you old man, Thagakh doesn't really know if you're what we're looking for. Can you transform into a beast or do something a druid can only do?"

Reidoth says "staying away from the ash zombies that overrun the village, as well as avoiding the area’s mutated plants has been tough. There are dangerous spiders lurking in the ruins at the base of the hill, and I suspect that someone is hiding out on the eastern side of town — I've seen folk in black masks and cloaks skulking around. However, my biggest concern is the dragon that has taken over the tower. You said you ate it. Wow!! That would be a sight to see."
"Cragmaw Castle is easy for me to give you directions. That group there is disrupting the entire balance of the forest. I am a member of the Emerald Enclave, a widespread group of wilderness survivalists who preserve the natural order while rooting out troublesome threats. The enclave works to restore and preserve the natural order by keeping the elemental forces of the world in check, preventing civilization and the wilderness from destroying one another, and helping others survive the perils of the wilds. The goblins are a threat to the delicate balance. I also suspect that they are being directed by something greater than goblins."
Reidoth produces a map of the region with keys to finding Cragmaw Castle.
At the conclusion of his meeting, he looks at the huge orc and smiles. At that he transforms into a squirrel and sneaks out a hole in the wall.
The half-orc grabs the map and returns to the group and then reports what they found, greatly emphasizing the old man turned into a squirrel while emulating it with his body motion.
Afterwards, he held the map open while pointing his fingers on it.
"You see the map? We go from here to there, but first we must pass through here, here, and lastly here. If you are confused, don't worry, Thagakh is also confused. Ian and Boghadair will explain it better."
Boghadair shrugs his shoulders and grins. '"Thaggy, you explained it magnificently! I want to know however, if we plan on going that route right away, or do we want to find out about these cloak and masked people that seem to worry the old druid. What do you guys want to do?"
"If we're going to check the black wearing group of people, Thagakh will wear his red robe because it would look cool if we fight them while wearing it."

Thagakh knocks on the door four times,
"Hello? Any druid here? We've been sent here by Qelline. If you don't answer, I'll make myself a path."

"The Qelline that Thagakh knows is at Phandalin. She suggests we find you here at Thundertree to ask where is Cragmaw Castle.
If you're talking about the young green dragon at the ruined tower, Thagakh already ate it with others."
