New adventure

Ok fellows  the daggers are magical.   But dont know if they are cursed or not   so use at own peril

Boghadair was able to spot in the woods a trio of dire wolves pacing the group within the tree line.  They are about 50 feet from the group with half coverage.  Every time the group stops, the wolves stop and hunker down and watch the team.  It is about one hour until evening meal.

"Hey Thaggy," Boghadair says, "Have you ever eaten Dire Wolf?  'Cause it looks like there is a small wolf pack seems to be keeping pace with us on our journey here. They haven't shown any signs of aggression yet, So I'm good with leaving them be until then."

escorting or spying i wonder?

Arafiel climbs into the back of the wagon

"Last time, Thagakh saw a wolf escorting goblins and bugbears while Thagakh was guarding the wagons then old Akaas followed them back to the goblin's den.

Thagakh can't really talk to wolves so either we leave them or hunt them."

“ They are going to attack us if we give them an easy target. Let’s move farther away from the tree line so if they rush at us we can get several shots off before we get bloody.  Maybe 100 feet further from the trees.  This will get tricky when it gets dark.  If I can take any shots I will try to drive them off.”  Ian says as he draws his bow and several arrows.

i will assist ian in keeping watch on the wolves

we definatly need to keep an eye on them. it could be a coincidence, but i don’t trust in coincidences...

ooc: i’ll hold on to a pair of those daggers, for my studies even if i decide not to use them.

Ian would like one dagger for sure... two if there are enough after everyone chooses.

As the group continues towards cragmaw, they add distance from the trees and dire wolves.  It is eveningfeast time but the goodberries provided enough nutrients for the day.  A decision about camping and security during the night needs to be made.  The dire wolves were spotted about an hour ago but have not been seen since moving away from the trees.

Thagakh will take first watch. He will pay attention to the surroundings with his great hearing.

OOC: hearing was so great, Thagakh heard a distant snap that echoes through the cosmos.

while staying up Ian tries to incorporate green dragon scales with his shield and armor.

During each one of the first 3 watches, the dire wolves are seen approaching but as soon as the person on duty moves around they run off.
