i’m going to start closing the distance a bit so that if i want i can choose between range or melee. stealthily if possible.

Ian rushes directly into the middle of the enemy with daggers swinging and using the horde breaker trait.

OOC:  Ian only add one attack for horde breaker so a total of 5 not 6.

Arafiel freezes two goblins with his spell at the same time as Boghadair releases force damage on a few goblins.  Unfortunately Johnson misses his attack but is able to move close enough for a melee attack during the next round.  Thagakh's massive blow nearly cuts a hobgoblin it two. Ian takes down two of the frozen goblins not killed by Arafiel.  (Remaining 3 Hobgoblin and 3 goblins.)

using my stealth to slide into an good position while the are destracted by the whirlwind of destruction that is Ian.

i find a hobgoblin and go in for the attack with these new daggers.

Tyrus aims to take a hobgoblin out of the fight.

The Hobgoblin is able to barely deflect Tyrus from grabbing him with the slap of his shield. The first of three Hobgoblins strikes right back at Tyrus.

HG1 Attack: 13 Damage: 12

Hobgoblin 2 swings hard on Ian with his longsword Attack: 12 Damage: 12

Hobgoblin 3 attacks Thagakh with his longsword attempting to avenge his friend Attack: 13 Damage: 12

Two Goblins attack Ian with their scimitars #1 Attack: 18 Damage: 5 #2 Attack: 16 Damage: 5

Goblin 3 goes after Johnson with a scimitar Attack: 17 Damage: 5

All three Goblin attempt to disengage from the battle after striking #1 7 #2 6 #3 8

Despite the hard swing by HG1 on Tyrus, his armor holds off the attack.  HG2 connects with Ian and causes a large gash across his chest.  All other attacks bounce off the armor of the team.  One of the Goblins is able to get enough distance from his disengage. 

Johnson's attack takes out the two goblins that could not disengage.

Initiative : Boghadair, Arafiel, Ian, Thagakh, and Tyrus ... then the HG and Goblins.

After cleaving his friend in half, Thagakh swings his greatsword upward.

arafiel casts magic missile at the three hobgoblins

Initiative : Boghadair, Arafiel, Ian, Thagakh, and Tyrus ... then the HG and Goblins.

Boghadair fires off two arrows at two different Hobgoblins.  Then continues to maintain his distance, while firing.

The combination of of Boghadair with his pinpoint shots and arafiel burst of magic, two more Hobgoblins fall to the ground in death.  The weight of his Greatsword and the confines of the space manage to disrupt Thagakh’s swing thus missing.

though the battle rages on its is now Ian and Tyrus before the last Hobgoblin and Goblin.

then begins his bladed assault
