The water is nice and cool to the touch but quite deep. When the water settles it is 20 feet deep. Every 2 minutes the water surges in and raises the water line up 10 feet higher.

As Thagakh takes a bath, and the others are equipping the new items, Boghadair takes off his leather armor and bow and bathes both in the brazier's green flame for the required time to enchant them.

He then puts his armor back on and heads to the room to follow Thagakh.
"Hey Thaggy, we're off to see the wizard," Boghadair says, "Wanna join us mate, and see if he knows where the Gundren's brother is?"
The structural damage and the skeletal remains in this area are evidence of the destructive spell battle fought here centuries ago when the orcs and their mercenary wizards stormed the mines.
Glittering minerals in the ceiling of this large cavern catch the light and send it back to create the impression of a starry night sky. Dozens of skeletons — many crushed under fallen debris — are scattered across the floor.
The cave is large enough that it contains two freestanding structures. Each of these stone buildings is proportioned for human use, as opposed to the dwarf-sized doorways and furnishings you’ve seen elsewhere in the mines. Both structures have battered and blackened masonry walls, their double doors cracked and scorched. The cavern is divided by an escarpment, into which a flight of stairs has been cut. Passages lead out of this area to the north, south, and west.

"Hey Thaggy, are you sure the water wasn't rising only because you got into the hot bath for a good dunk?" Boghadair asks, while keeping an eye on the skeletons.
Dust, ash, walls blackened by fire, and heaps of debris beneath the sagging ceiling show that this room was damaged by a destructive blast. The furnishings — tables, chairs, bookshelves, beds — are charred or splintered, but otherwise well preserved. A scorched iron chest stands near the foot of one of the beds.

As Ian approaches the chest, a ghost like creature rises up through the floor between him and the chest. It speaks in grave whispers. When the wraith first rises up from the floor, it says, “Your presence is offensive to me, your life forfeit. My treasures are mine alone, not yours to plunder!”
The wraith is about 5 feet in front of you. Tyrus is at the door.... 10 feet from the creature.

“Hold on for a second!! I have come bringing you a gift. Your neighbor up the hall has been sent back to his plane of existence. You will not have to deal with him anymore. I want to share a gift with you before I leave.”
Ian reaches into his pack and takes out a flask of holy water. He uncaps it and throws it on the wraith.
"Well, I saw Ian and Tyrus walk off this way." Boghadair says while pointing towards the way he saw his friends go. "They shouldn't be too far away. Besides, they couldn't have gotten into too much trouble, right?"

After relaxing his guard from the hot spring, Thagakh almost had a heart attack after hearing Boghadair call him.
After checking that there is no dwarf around this parts, Thagakh puts on his things and hurries himself behind the group to report his findings.
"After dipping at the hot spring to relax... I mean, after looking around the hot spring to find Gundren's brother, Thagakh found no dwarf around.
Instead, Thagakh found the water rises for a few feet before returning back to its water level."
Ian walks over to the first building to inspect it.

"That was Thagakh's first thoughts too, until Thagakh saw a small opening where the water comes in.
Thagakh thought it would be hot but after soaking in, it was alright. Thagakh now knows lost caves have great baths."
After proudly proclaiming his recent discovery, Thagakh search for tracks of undead and tries to learn where they mostly came from.
