"Lads, I believe this is where I can lead the way without any of you being stuck on their hands and knees in case of an ambush."  Boghadair says as puts his bow onto his back, and draws both Cult Daggers of the Dragon Lords.  He cuts his forearm with each dagger and says "Hlal, dragon god of humor and storytelling, I offer you my blood so I can create a new adventurous tale for you to enjoy!"

And then Boghadair leads the way as stealthily as he can.

Not happy about crawling through a tunnel, Ian smiles at the atunement ritual. “I am right behind you if you run into trouble.”

Tyrus will take up the rear, watching the party's back through the small tunnel.

This passageway is barely four feet high and is obstructed by rounded boulders and pebbles. It might have been a streambed, though no water flows here now.  Large Rats skitter away as you move through the tunnel.  The force of the wind pressure almost knocks those walking to the ground with every boom from the water surge.  After what seems like 5 minutes of movement because of the difficulties of the terrain, the tunnel opens up to another large room.  This room has a large crater in the middle of the room from what looks like the damage from an earthquake.

A wide rift fills the eastern half of this cavern. A stream pours out of the west wall, then tumbles down into the rift and flows out again to the north. Several ropes are secured to iron stakes along on the western edge of the rift, leading down to the chasm floor.

Two bugbears are working down 20 feet below on the chasm floor.  They are moving rocks and looking for something.  At the top of the rift opposite your group, there is a Bugbear tending a rope and a male Drow giving orders.  They have not noticed you yet.

Boghadair sheathes both daggers and draws his bow and arrow out.   Taking aim at the Drow,  he holds his action until the others are prepared.  

Boghadair uses mind speech with each friend saying

"I have my sights on a Drow elf above. If anybody has ranged attacks that can get us, it would be the Drow. He will be my primary target, instead of the three bugbears that are here.  I'll assume they would be armed with swords." 

Concentrate on those up top first maybe   the others will have to climb to get us.

Arafiel estimates the distance to the drow and prepares a spell

Boghadair wants until everybody is ready,  and then he fires two arrows at the Drow.

Longbow Ranged Attack: 20; Damage: 7 piercing damage

If Longbow attack hits, Bursting Arrow activates.

Bursting Arrow Attack: 8 force damage
If Longbow attack was critical: 16 force damage
Damage is done to all within 10 feet of original target.

Action Surge to do another attack. 

Longbow Ranged Attack: 15; Damage: 6 piercing damage

If Longbow attack hits, Bursting Arrow activates.

Bursting Arrow Attack: 4 force damage
If Longbow attack was critical: 14 force damage
Damage is done to all within 10 feet of original target.

He then moves to any available cover and prepares to give again. 

OOC:  Will be tied up for the rest of the night.   I'll try to add anything when I can,  but will not be able to do so for the next four of five hours.

The range of the Drow and topside Bugbear is about 40 feet and they are 5 feet apart.

Boghadair does major damage to the Drow and some damage to the Bugbear.

Initiative order will be Boghadair, Ian, Arafiel, Thagakh, Tyrus, Sildar, Gundren.... Drow, upper Bugbear, lower Bugbear 1, lower Bugbear 2.

OOC:  So I get another attack this round?

Boghadair fires off another arrow at the Drow.

Ian sees Boghadair target the Drow so he sends one arrow at him and uses horde breaker skill on the Bugbear next to him.

OOC:  sorry Boghadair only gets one round of attacks... I was just showing the overall order.

Ian hits both the Drow and Bugbear.

OOC: No worries.  I thought I was wrong about that anyways.  It's all good.  =)

With a large rift between them and the drow, Thagakh brings out his unused heavy crossbow and attacks with it.
