Boghadair and Ian combine to take down one more Bugbear.  Ian’s second arrow seriously damages another Bugbear.

Arafiel launches a firebolt at a bugbear

Thagakh bring his battleaxe overhead and tries to split the bugbear open.

Both arafiel and Thagakh miss.

Blinded by rage from the pain, divine energy flows through Tyrus's blade as he rushes the bugbear in the rift.

Talon Attack: 13

Tyrus is thrown off by his rage and misses.  Sildar continues to shoot his crossbow at the topside Bugbears.

Gundren aims at the lower Bugbear with his crossbow.

Attack: 18 Damage: 5

Sidar hits but Gundren misses.  Sildar kills one Bugbear.

One of the Bugbear from above cut the climbing rope.  The other two run from the room.

The lower Bugbear continues to fight with Tyrus.

 He misses.... back to the top of Initiative.  Boghadair, Ian, Arafiel, Thagakh, Tyrus, Sildar, Gundren.....Bugbear 

Boghadair shoots an arrow at the bugbear cutting the rope.

arafiel casts firebolt  at a running bugbears

Arafiel’s flame burst against a nearby wall but fails to damage a Bugbear.

Up Thagakh, Tyrus, Sildar, Gundren.... Bugbear 

Thagakh takes another mighty chop at the bugbear near him and Tyrus.

Furious, Tyrus once again attempts to send divine energy through the bugbear.

Thagakh misses but Tyrus finishes off the lower Bugbear.  At the same time, the upper Bugbear cuts the rope on the opposite side of the rift.  He then attempts to retreat the same direction that the others went.  On their side of the rift, their are two exits away from that room, Northwest and Southwest.  They used the Southwest exit.

Both Sildar and Gundren use the rope to climb down to join Tyrus and Thagakh.

Boghadair says to the others "I'll provide cover fire while the rest of you find a way to climb up to the other side and secure the area. Then I'll come join you." 

"Thagakh is fine with that plan."

Thagakh removes his rope with the grappling hook, throws it to the other side of the rift, and climbs up to check the southwest exit while securing the area for any hidden bugbear or traps ahead as he waits for the rest.
