Johnson votes to go in the morning, better to have everyone in fighting shape. we can try and find this secret entrance and maybe get the drop on them.
Akaas tells the group about the town, what he learned from Halia, the skirmish in the street, and what they learned at the Hall.
OOC: If you'd like to omit some things due to Akaas's memory, I've been deciding percentages and rolling against his memory for names and other information.
"I agree. Let's strike out on the morning. Perhaps we will even be lucky enough to catch them by surprise with this secret entrance. Either way, I think all of us agree that they need to be run out of town, or handled in a more permanent manner." Boghadair replies.
Tyrus looks contemplative as he says, "I will not allow my impatience to place my companions in more of harm's way than necessary. 'Til morning it is."
Akaas closes his eyes during Ian's healing speech and then begins looking back and forth at his shoulders as his wounds are healed. The old Halfling smiles as he sighs a breath and then looks up at the Goliath. "Thank you, friend."
"Before I forget, as I am prone to do," Akaas says, "I'd like to let Halia look at the frog we found in the Goblin cave. She might can tell us more about it. Would it be all right if I took it to her in the morning?"
"Alright. G'night Thaggy!" Boghadair says, and to Akaas he says "I doubt the arse-kickin we plan on giving to the Redbrands will be terribly delayed by a quick visit to Halia. Let's find out what we can about froggy."
johnson gives Akaas the statue. I’d be happy to get any addition information i could on the statue. If theirs time you can get it to her, but then we’re off to the manor.
I retire to my room to rest and ponder the ruins and the interesting things that will be their.
Akaas goes up to his room, drops off his things — except for his bedroll — and returns to the tavern. He rolls out his bed near the door and lies down to sleep.
Ian starts his morning as usual. Greetings to the father Sun, farewell to the mother Moon, quietly eating morning rations, preparing the days spells, inspect and repair weapons, dressing in armor.
Once ready, I will search for Elsa to find out how to get to the manor.
Boghadair wakes up, and as he gets dressed he thinks upon the rumours he heard last night. One name keeps coming back to him. Daran Edermath, the orchard farmer. He was rumoured to be a adventurer once upon a time. Boghadair wonders if he knows anything about the Redbrands. You would think that the skills and intuition you get from leading a life of adventure might lend some insight to these bullies.
"Right," he tells himself, "perhaps we have time to visit him, and gather more information."
Boghadair heads out of his room, and begins looking for anybody else in the group that might be awake.
After everyone wakes up and heads to the dinning hall, any person in town can direct them to the Manor. Elsa says to Ian, "Tresendar manor is on the far east side of town. I think that the Redbrands use the dungeon as their base. Please be careful when passing the Sleeping Giant Tavern.... they hang out their a lot."
As the party heads towards the manor, they will pass the Edermath farm with Daran out working on the property. Daran Edermath is a retired adventurer who lives in a tidy little cottage beside an apple orchard. A fit, silver-haired half-elf well over a hundred years old, Daran is a fighter who served as a marshal and herald for many years in the lands of the Dragon Coast, far to the southeast. Upon retiring, he returned to the Neverwinter region, his original home. "It is sad what has happened to good people around here."
Daran is a member of the Order of the Gauntlet, a devout and vigilant group that seeks to protect others from the depredations of evildoers. The order is always vigilant, ready to smite evil, enforce justice, and enact retribution against any who try to subjugate or harm others. Though he is no longer active in the order, he keeps an eye on happenings around Phandalin. He is happy to trade news with fellow adventurers, especially those who appear to hold to these virtues. "I have heard that your group is noble and that you have a Paladin within your party."
Daran is concerned about the Redbrands, and he would like to see a group of adventurers teach the ruffians a lesson. He tells the characters that it’s time someone took a stand against the Redbrands’ leader, Glasstaff. Daran knows the Redbrands hang around the Sleeping Giant tap house, but he can also tell the characters that the main Redbrand safe house lies under Tresendar Manor, the ruin at the east edge of town.

Ian walks over to Akaas, smiles at him the best a Goliath can produce, places a hand on his head.
In words very few could understand, “ may the power within the forest and all that grows redeem your strength.”
