Arafiel, there is nothing of value or interest near the dead wolves.
Johnson the area is very poorly lit but you can see a rope bridge up above. However, the path you are on goes underneath the bridge and continues to rise and turn to the right.
Thagakh the wolf initially runs away, but slowly approaches the meat.

Tyrus says "Let us wait for master Boghadair's findings before we press on, yes? We don't want to be in trouble on two fronts at once, with Akaas and Thagakh already missing."
"It is true that I am old," replies Akaas, "but I'm afraid I have not seen much. I have spent my life in one place doing the same thing over and over: teaching. That is why I am here with you. Before my light is extinguished, I wanted to finally know what it is like to travel the world — to experience real adventure." He looks away from the half-Orc and then back at him. "And I also know what it is like to not remember. My memory is not what it used to be. There are many things I have trouble remembering as well —" Akaas looks like he wants to say something else, but he finally just smiles.
Then, after Thagakh throws the meat to the wolf ...
"It is good that you are caring for this creature, my large friend. Living in harmony with nature is a step toward true peace." Akaas watches the wolf with a contented smile on his face.
OOC: As the wolf eats, Akaas will attempt to get close enough to be in its proximity, but will not get close enough to be a threat. Animal handling: 24
As the party moves forward, the light spell that had been active expires. Any character with dark vision can still see. arafiel can see the rope bridge up ahead. It is about 20 feet off the ground. It is guarded by one goblin which does not notice your party yet. On the other side of the stream is another passage way. It is very difficult terrain. Rocks and boulders are stacked along this path.
Arafiel is the only character that can see at the moment.
Back at the wagons, Akaas is able to perceive from the wolf that it wants to attack but is holding back. It is confused by your calm and kindness. It is also expecting “others” to be joining it soon.
Not moving in any way that would spook the wolf, Akaas says very calmly and smoothly to Thagakh, "The wolf seems to be waiting for something to join him. We should be on our guard to protect ourselves should others attack."
Akaas is very alert to his surroundings and is ready to defend himself.

i can take the lead still unless we have someone with better darkvision to take over scouting.
if the party advances and noone else take scout duty, i’ll stay out of the main light as much as possible (while still being able to see) and stealthaly move forward

OOC: if anyone else takes over scouting i’ll still be avoiding the main pool of light as much as possible, i don’t like being an obvious target.

Seeing that his companions have let loose arrows already, Boghadair holds his shot in case there are any other goblins hiding on the bridge.
Boghadair says to Johnson with mind speech "I cannot see a bloody thing without the torch. I'll continue to take up the rear and provide cover fire as we go."
"Wolf probably hungry, Thagakh will get meat"
The half-orc chops one of the dead horses' limbs with his greatsword and chucks it toward the wolf.

The half-orc heeds the old halfling's advice
"Watch Thagak's back old Akaas while Thagakh butcher this dead horse meat. If they are wolves, we can just chuck them more dead horse meat."
The half-orc just cleaves the dead horses with his greatsword.
