New adventure

The cane marks seem to head down the road in the direction that one would have to take to get to the tower.

At an intersection near the middle of the village, a narrow lane winds up the steep hillside to the north. Directly to the south is a ruined building that might have been a store or workshop. Webs stretch across the lane, from the building to the trees on the north side of the road.

I think fire is good against webs. Taking out a torch and lighting it.

At first the torch singes away large sections of the webbing.  As the tension of the web is reduced from across the road, movement is notice from the group as two giant spiders come out from inside the structure.  They do not immediately attack.  Instead they inspect the web closest to the door of the building.

The half-orc whispers to the group,

"Thagakh never tried eating a roasted giant spider", he licks his lips in anticipation of an exotic meal.

"I really don't like giant anything,  let alone giant spiders"  Boghadair says to Thagakh using Mind speech. 

Boghadair fires his arrow at the closest spider, and then proceeds to back up and keep his distance.

The goliath easily snaps the web around him at the same time knocking the spider from its perch.

"I am with you, friend Halfling," Akaas says, jogging forward to attack (on his turn).

Boghadair force off another arrow at the giant spiders (same one as the first attack if it hasn't died yet )

Just waiting for Johnson, Thagakh, and Tyrus.

Thagakh rushes to the nearest giant spider and attempts to bisect it.

Greatsword Melee Weapon Attack: 13 Damage: 8 Slashing Damage

Crimsom Rite, Rite of the Storm: 2 Lightning Damage

Thagakh misses mightily with his big swing.

Boghadair and Akaas take down one of the giant beasts.

Due up is Johnson and Tyrus.
