Xellos' jaw drops in amazement for actually placing in the Top 3 then says to the elf, "Guess I'm buying with 100 extra gold! Talk about beginner's luck. Enjoy those magical arrows. The name is Xellos by the way."
He says to the gnome, "Good luck to you as well! Perhaps I'll see you later."

“Well done indeed! Was a hard competition! Frandal Silvereyes, from the Silvereyes Clan” Replies to Xello’s greeting “We will see in the following contest!” Says the elf to Xellos as they move towards the next results.
When he came as victor again he blushes a little bit. That was unexpected for he sliped and fell too soon of the barrel. He winks to Xellos “Well, I guess that you are not the only one with beginner’s luck “
As you make your way across the tournament field to the next contest area, your ears pick up the sound of a male voice that is both angry and threatening. You turn to your right and you see a half-orc standing menacingly over a much smaller male human.
The human shows signs of concern but says, “The bet was fair, Kord. Stop grumbling.”
Kord’s response is swift but wordless. He draws his right fist back and delivers a powerful blow to the midsection of the other man, who immediately doubles over. “Who’s grumbling now?” You can tell that Kord intends to do more damage because he draws back his right arm again, preparing to throw another punch.
Kord's surprise quickly turns to wrath. "Ought not to interfere in another man's business," he mutters through his clenched teeth. "You wouldn't draw steel on me," he says, half daring you to do so. He then looks at the crowd that has begun to gather around and says, "Some hero, eh folks? The brave man with two swords facing off with me... a man with only his bare hands!" And takin' sides with a man who just cheated me outta ten gold!"
"Again if you think he has broken a law lets call the Watch guards. Otherwise I will defend him. Up to drawling steel. I will not allow you to pummel this man.
Kurt steps next to the man, standing to the side in between the man and Kord.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ozum steps forward through the crowd standing a gnomish 3'1" and confidently says, "You need to calm down buddy, or pick a fight with someone your own size ... err, or ... just back off!" He punctuates his 'threat' by slamming the butt of his staff into the dirt.
"Damn the guards. Damn the whole lot of ya," are Kord's final words as he turns abruptly and shoulders his way through the crowd. Kurt and Ozum, your eyes follow him as he heads south and crosses the street, apparently leaving the tournament area altogether.
Xellos, Arissa, Alora, and Frandal, as you are en route to the obstacle course you notice a small crowd gathering around two large men who seem ready to exchange blows with one another. One of the men is a half-orc; the other man all of you recognize in some way. Xellos and Frandal, you recognize him as one who has been competing in the tournament. Arissa and Alora, you realize that it is Kurt Stoneseeker, whom you met at The Donnybrook last evening. Then, upon closer inspection, you notice that Ozum had also stepped forward to join Kurt in opposing the half-orc.
The disagreement with the half-orc seems to defuse quickly, and he then makes his way through the crowd and leaves the tournament field.
The male human begins by looking at Kurt and Ozum and saying, "Thank you for stepping in." He continues, "Kord lost a fair bet; then he lost his temper as you can see. He thinks I somehow cheated him on the archery contest. I was feeling a bit cavalier, and I put up ten gold on the tiefling to place in the top three...and Kord couldn't take that bet fast enough. Then, the tiefling shocks us both and finishes in second place! Kord starts accusing me of having some kind of scheme in place...saying the tiefling and I are a couple of con artists who trick honest people out of their money. He didn't want to believe that I did nothing more than make a lucky guess."
The man smiles and shakes a small leather pouch that emits the familiar sound of jingling coins. "He paid me. Yes, he did. When I wouldn't return the coins to him, that's when he started threatening me. Let's forget about Kord. I don't want his apology, and I don't want to be any more bother to any of you."
He then says to Xellos, "Nice shooting today and thanks for helping me earn some money!" He also repeats his thanks to Kurt and Ozum for their willingness to intervene.
Lastly, he says, "Happy festival to all of you. Best of luck!"

Xellos moves towards area where the confrontation took place and sees Frandal moving ahead of him moving to the same spot so he follows.
Xellos asks (Kurt), "What in the world happened?"
He sees others from the tournament standing by him and says, "I didn't see what happened—did the half-orc attack any of you? Not very sportsman-like."
