Xellos says "I think it might be a good idea to press on as well. Just in case we are delayed."
Would this be an appropriate time to quickly sell the silverware that Xellos took from the Keep? It was valued around 700g, but since this is a small fishing village then I wasn't sure if it was even possible (or worthwhile) to sell it in Jast.
“I agree we should press on. Even going towards them. If there are more ambushes set for the Windhovers our help could be needed. Let’s go to the meeting point and the we decide if we press on or not. ¿Ok? Do you think we can buy or rent horses in here? “
"I'm not opposed to pushing ahead, let me see if we are expecting any delay though." Ozum will cast druidcraft to predict the weather for the next day.
Ozum: Your spell indicates that the weather in your location will be cloudy and cool, but no rain.
Frandal: Purchasing horses--or renting them--isn't a possibility in Jast. Horses will be available in larger population areas, such as Talisten or Findric.
Everyone: With an hour of daylight remaining you enter the the town of Findric. Nothing noteworthy occurred during your journey northward; you enjoyed the close-up view of the Corvus Mountains to the west, and to the east you saw mostly open grasslands. As you drew closer to Findric, however, you encountered farmhouses and empty fields that had been recently been harvested. Findric isn't nearly as large as Talisten; you estimate that a few thousand people may call it home. Not long after passing through the gate in the southern wall of the town, you see the Mug and Platter, the inn where you will meet Sariel and Bharash in twenty-four hours. What are your thoughts and plans for passing the time before meeting the WIndhovers?
Xellis says, "Perhaps we should casually check the building as patrons or shall we stay away for now?"
To lighten the mood a bit, he adds, "Or I have a bag with something interesting inside to try." He says in a joking manner, but pats the pouch to show he is telling the truth.
Xellos has a serious look on his face, but then it changes to a smile with closed eyes as he holds one finger up, "Now that's a secret!" he says with an upbeat tone

Xellos also says to Frandal as he seeing him eye the silverware, whispering to him in Elvish:
Frandal:
"I need money from the share I would get after giving the others their fair share. Almost every profit I've made in my life has been given to those who need it most. Homeless and people starving or sick, mostly.
The Windhovers mean well, but I don't think they need *all* of their accumulated wealth. I know they aren't mine, but I don't think Ro had anymore use for it. If you want me to give them back to the Windhovers, I will—I'm no petty thief. I hope you can understand my intentions at least.
I'd rather the others not know what I do with my money—I don't want to appear all high and mighty."
Everyone:There's minimal activity in the Mug and Platter as you make the arrangements for your rooms and your evening meals. The proprietor of the place, Pike, is soft-spoken but polite. After finalizing the arrangements for your room, he says quietly, "I was told I should be expecting the five of you. I'll be sure to let you know straight away if the others arrive. I hope you can find some rest in the meantime."
"Thank you so much Pike. I think I will retire now, I'd like to take a look around your town in the morning." The gnome heads to the room and neatly stows his gear for the night. He touches his mistletoe sprig around the door frame before going to sleep.
I can understand what you say. I used to gave away the money I collect to those in need. This thing with the silver is pretty the same with the magical objects we collected to further use. We will talk to them tomorrow and if we get their approval then I will help you sell that things myself. It’s that alright with you?.
OOC: Good call! XD sometimes is hard to play a lawful character when you are breaking into someone else tomb or house and kill everything in there and plunder the place ;)
Frandal will take a bath if possible, if not he will use his magic to clean off the dust and the salt of their journey. He meditates in his room but goes downstairs as soon as he finish and goes out the Mug and Platter and looks for a nearby tree where he climbs up the lowest branches and stay there checking the status of his arrows and bowstring.
I appreciate your understanding. Of course, I would love that! Anyway, let's hope they get here safely.
Inside the tavern, Xellos says, "Meet here in the morning then?"
Before going to bed for the night, Xellos again takes out the needle to see if it's pointing west. Then looks at Kurt's shortswords, to see if he can figure out their properties
DM
With Xellos' arcana roll of 20 earlier, he will inspect the 2 shortswords for Kurt to figure out their properties
Insight was 22, History 5, Religion 13 (if any of them are needed)
Xellos:The time you spend with the swords, in addition to your Arcana proficiency, allows you to identify them as +1 weapons. Looking at the magical compass reveals the needle is pointing northwest rather than west.
Everyone:You eat your evening meal and wrap up the day, and as you're nodding off to sleep you wonder what news you will hear from Sariel and Bharash tomorrow. Before the sun rises, however, each of you is awakened by a sharp knock on the door. You take a few moments to gather your thoughts and shake the drowsiness from your mind, and once more, you hear the knock on your door. This second knock, however, is followed by Pike's voice. "Forgive me, friend. An urgent message has been sent for you! I was told to waste no time." Pike comes to each room, saying the same thing.
To whoever opens the door first, Pike hands a rolled up piece of parchment that has been sealed with wax. He then says, "A kettle of tea will be waiting for you in the kitchen when all of you are ready to make your way downstairs. I have a feeling you'll be departing Findric quickly, but possibly I can help you not to do so on an empty stomach."
Pike then hurries away to allow you the privacy to read whatever is on the piece of parchment.
Arssa jumps up and opens the door, taking the piece of parchment.
"I really don't want more bad news."

Horatio Hirschfeld - Squire imbued with fae powers, in the Coliseum of Conquest (W2/L1) DM for Reavers of Harkenwold, and sometimes The Fighting Grounds of the Coliseum
You break the wax seal on the scroll and read the following:
Friends of Syndaris, sadly Sariel and I must appeal to your goodness and grace once again. We believe more pressing matters lie elsewhere at this time; so we are unable to come to Findric. Evidence suggests that all Windhovers are being hunted--Thoradin, as you know, was attacked. But now we believe former Windhovers are in danger as well. Sindrith Grey, an old Windhover who lived near Greyloft has been killed. Four other former Windhovers still live in Syndaris. The halfling Tobi Trailfinder lives near Everal; so Sariel is hurrying to warn him. I am returning to Talisten to warn Kempis. We will have to trust that the old dwarf Haradal will be safe and sound, hidden in the Corvus Mountains.
Oda Waywocket is the mayor of Ansora; Sariel and I are hoping you will be willing to journey there and warn the old wizard. Whatever you might choose, please plan to meet us in Findric in four days.
We cannot thank you enough for all that you have done on our behalf.
