Roland receives a second vison of some unknown mural carved in stone. In the center there is a depression that matches the amulet perfectly. Perhaps its a key of some sort.
Marish backs away from the circle of runes. "You go ahead. I'll just go. I think this was a bad idea" She is sweating a bit and looks jittery
The myconids do not stop her if she decides to leaves the village.
Twig gut tells her that Marish wants to take something from the ruins and is willing to kill for it.
Marish says "They won't let me through."
"That is correct. You will have to leave and go around the long way." says Heric. He then looks at Zhernon "Please enter the circle. I promise it will do you no harm if your sincere. You have my word as a warrior."
What do you do? Let her go? Steal the amulet? Throw her into the circle?
"Are you sure someone shouldn't go with her? How long is the long way around? Will she meet us on the other side?" Zhernon takes a step that is between Marish and the circle.
The amulet slips right into Twigs hands. Afterwards Marish is escorted out of the village by some myconid guards.
Seemingly satisfied Heric escorts the party through the village onto the northern side. Another few days of travel and there before you is the grotto seen in the vision.
"This is where my kin died. Damn those bastards"says Heric.
Twig proceeds into the grotto. She has slipped the amulet into her pouch and is trying to figure out why Marish was acting off. Perhaps her friends really did murder the mushroom people. If they did. Why? What reason did they have to do something like that? She shakes her head and takes in her surroundings. "Huh. This looks like the place in the vision! We must be on the right path!"

Roland watched as Marish refused to enter the circle, then just shook his head as she was led away, figuring that perhaps she was just fidgety around magic.
As the group reached the grotto, he recognized the location, and followed in behind Twig. "Looks like it." He looked around. "No Marish, though. I hope she's alright. Still... there's something strange about her. I probably should have mentioned it earlier, but it only just now crossed my mind to do so--the coin seemed to react funny to her." He scratched his head, then shrugged. "She didn't seem dangerous though. Ah well, guess it doesn't matter now."
Zhernon follows the group, keeping an eye out around them as they traipse through the jungle, and then looks curiously at the grotto, searching the area for any possible traps or other unwanted things.

"Zhernon will help but not going to step into the circle. Keep a level head." Zhernon chirps quietly and watches the others.

There is nothing shady on the part of the elders. They just want added insurances as they have grown distrustful of outsiders.
Now this something shady going on with Marish. She is hiding something.
Roland looked at Marish, a bit confused. He then smiled and held out his hand to her, inviting her into the circle of runes.
Then he felt the coin. Pulling it out, he looked at it, then at Marish, trying to understand what was happening.

Zhernon suggests she come with them anyway but that once they get to their destination perhaps they can figure things out from there.

"That depends on how skillful she is at survival. She may never make it to the ruins if she runs afoul some of the dangerous creatures" says Heric
Twig smiles at Marish, then runs up and gives her a big hug. "It's ok, we understand. Just be careful and don't get caught by any gnolls again!"
As she does this she tries to pick-pocket the amulet from her.
