Althea smiling looks to Twig "Well lets see what the captain says shall we"suddenly creaks intensify. Althea looks to the ship "Blast it somethings wrong. I got no time for this"she grabs Twig and shoves her into a nearby empty quarters with simple cot. Twig hears a click as Althea locks the door.
Zhernon squawks loudly and curses under their breath before running for the stairs and up on deck! He rushes around the ship cawing, "Sinking! Sinking!"
"Wa--" Twig's words are cut off as she is shoved through the door. "Really? She locked me in?" She crosses her arms and huffs. "Well at least she didn't throw me overboard. I still don't want to talk to that Captain. He seems really mean." Walking over to the door, she pulls out her lockpicks and starts trying to pick the lock.
"The ship is sinking?! Ah man! I didn't sign up for this!" She grabs her cap, pulling down over her ears, "What to do! What to do!" Panicking, she runs up onto the deck. She knows if the ship is sinking, that being below deck is a death sentence. Once there, she looks for a new place to hide, while keeping an eye out for anyone she should avoid. She does not want to talk to the captain, or any of the other sailors for that matter.

Captain Fray is barking orders as the ships tilts to one side. He looks over the side of the boat "We are taking in water. You 5 get below decks and plug that hole at all costs."He then heads over to the row boats to make sure they are intact in case everyone needs to abandon ship. Satisfied he takes the helm of the ship and does his best to maneuvers the ship into the the oncoming waves.
Twig shivers as she finds a place behind some boxes to hide. She watches the Captain yell at the crew, the sees, a bird person? Was that who was making that weird noise as they shouted 'Sinking'? She has never seen a bird person before, this causes her curiosity to numb some of her fear. She watches them carefully, waiting to see what they do. A weird person like that must have something interesting in their pockets... She shakes her head, causing some of the water to fly out of her hair. What was she thinking? She was on a sinking ship! But then again... there isn't anything she can do about that.
Zhernon watches the sailors head below and then attempts to get the captain's attention and begin mimicking the chanting the sailor had been doing down below, pointing down below decks.
The captain disregards Zhernon as he stays at the helm. Althea walks onto the deck and sees Zhernon "What is its your trying to say. Yes we know there is a leak. Umberlee the godess? Oh no we must of attracted her fickle gaze. This is bad.I came to gather more help. Can you and the other passengers head down and help us stay afloat or we may all perish."
Roland had just adjusted to the dim light when he heard a variety of commotions, and then the ship itself began sounding like it was creaking apart. He rushed back onto the deck, ignoring the winds and torrential rain as he focused on the Kenku's words:
The farmboy's eyes grew wide. Between his equipment and his chain mail, he wouldn't last too long trying to stay afloat--especially in this storm. Gritting his teeth, he began looking for a handhold, and rushed to grab it as the ship listed.
"We are taking in water. You 5 get below decks and plug that hole at all costs."
Below deck?! It sounded like a suicide mission, but then, if the hold didn't get plugged, it probably meant death for all of them. Putting the sailor's fate out of his mind, Roland began looking around for the other passengers, only to see... a teenage girl dart behind some boxes? He wanted to laugh but just shook his head again; seems like she'd picked the wrong ship to stowaway onto.
At the asking for assistance, Roland realized they were likely doomed. Still, it was apparently either die trying, or die holding on for dear life. He released his grip, stumbled across the rocking deck, and hurried back down below, this time ignoring the dim light and trusting in his training to guide him toward the damage site as he dashed forward.
Twig stays hidden behind the boxes, she watches as a man in chain mail emerges from below deck, looks her direction, then runs back below deck. Had he seen her? Not that it matters now. She's already been found out, not to mention she's probably about to die anyways. As the ship lurches sideways, she nearly falls over as she looses her footing on the slippery wooden planks. Luckily she just slid into one of the boxes. Maybe being on deck isn't a good idea. She's probably die either way anyways. Why did she have to hide on this ship? Scrambling back to her feet, she makes a dash back to the door leading below deck, hoping the captain doesn't spot her. She probably sticks out just as much as that bird person due to her wild red hair and tiny stature.
Once below deck she will try to follow the others. Trying not to be seen, she watches the sailors and the passengers scurry around doing whatever they think they need to.
Twig watches this in confusion. Could this bird person not speak? Didn't he just say 'sinking'?
Insight: 10
(If she's never encountered a Kenku before it would seem very odd! They certainly seem capable of speaking though...perhaps she just needs more time around them to understand them better!)
Zhernon chirps at Althea and attempts to recreate some of the sigils they saw before scratching them out, then heads back down below to try and assist the sailors in plugging hole or holes however they can.
(Yep that's probably it! She's only really been around humans, half-elves, half-orcs some dwarves, some elves, and the occasional dragonborn. So Zhernon and Tilsu are both going to be very strange to her.)
Twig continues to watch everyone run around below deck, and the water level.
The first mate Althea looks to the little girl on the deck "Didn't I lock you up. Come here. If you help then I won't turn you in to the captain and we may even save our own hides"
“Oh ah you wanted me to stay in there?”She lets out an odd giggle. “Uh, what I’m I supposed to do? I really don’t want to die. I’m far to young for that you know”

Tilsu keeps a note of the captain's poisons but starts to hear the shouts of sinking. He takes off to the lower decks, seeking the leak.
