Zelacious, quite accidentally standing right next to a particular Moon Elf, if quite boisterous and verbose about his team's performance once he finishes the course. In fact he becomes a bit of a (foul mouthed and bawdy) cheerleader for the others who still have not finished or started. The more annoyed the elf becomes, the louder Z is, and the less his cheers make sense and instead seem more like insults to everyone not on his team.
"Oh, I didn't see you there!" Zelacious exclaims once the last member of his team has comepleted the course. "How did you do, again?"
"That...that was an interesting set of feats that needed to be completed. As I have said before, I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it. But I can certainly see the benefits of such training. The only thing standing between you and outrageous success is continuous progress. And I think we have all had continuous progress here today. Great job today team." Nicolae beamed with pride at the team's accomplishments. He then checked his tablet and yes it seemed they had finished the tasks laid out for them before Last Post. "A couple bruises, but nothing worse for wear. A good's night sleep and we'll be ready for tomorrows challenges!"

When one's senses weren't exactly reliant on the directional position of specific body parts for the most part, Dimbo more than happily did his cheering with his humanoid form's back to the ground. For after all that running about he certainly hadn't felt up to doing much more than laying about on the ground, and let his body appear to inflate and deflate itself like some great balloon. Only decorum kept him from sliding out of his suit altogether and reverting into a more ball-like state for his recovery!

"When do the-...... Oh! Oh ho ho ho! Eyyy~ This guy right there is funny guy, yes? When do the real challenges begin he says -- my goodness that was a good one." Dimbo said breathily despite possessing no visible lungs, and then let out a chortle. "Ain't that right, Naidania? C'mon. Put it there!" He adds as one hand turns more into a psuedopod and is stretched on over and held up for a sort of fist bump.
"Real.. chall" says still panting Shean "They told me I will be commandeering a ship... a starship... not running myself to death.. pheew no.. sorry I cannot take more challenges of this kind today... " he has his eyes closed and is trying to get some air so he doesn't really catches Vargach's intentions.
Just after having completed the course, then party hears somebody yell “attention” as the Master Chief walks into the room. He comes up to the party some of whom may have come to attention others most definitely not - odds on chances Zalacious and Ozzy are in the second group - and says “I understand a few course records have been broken today. How did your first day go?”
"Excellent Master Chief!" Nicolae barked out with enthusiasm. "Vargach really enjoyed the warmups and is ready for more. Others of us," He looks around at the group, "Well, not so much. Their strengths lie elsewhere. But we will fight for love and glory. We will live to tell the story. There is nothing we can't live through!"
Nicolae is not winded at all from the attempts. He doesn't even pretend to be winded, you're not even sure he's breathing at all actually!
Though Dimbo gave it his best scholar's try, he is -- if nothing else -- hardly the swiftest in following the Master Chief's orders, and is liable still in the process of just getting up by the time the Master Chief stood before the group. With a bit of a chuckle to his voice at first, he adds in response to Nicolae's enthusiasm, "Maybe some of us can live through anything, Master Chief. But I think the rest of us aren't too far behind from managing the same someday. And might I say, thanks again for this opportunity, Master Chief!"

Vargach:
As Zelacious begins to insult the chief, Vargach suddenly coughs loudly, the words barely distiguishable hidden within the noise sounding something like "reaper cushions" as he suddenly loses his balance and stumbles into the Hadozee.

Deceived, Zelacious kindly suggests his pal Vargach has that cough of his checked out in sick bay. "Seriously, dude. Get that swamp cough cured up before you infect us civilzied folk!" Zelacious as he dexterously sidesteps the stumbling lizard.
Naidania sees the outstretched pseudopod from Dimbo trying to do a very human thing. “Unfortunately, I did not perform as well as I expected of myself, so it was actually quite challenging for me…” She trails off a bit. She gives an audible sigh. She unceremoniously bumps Dimbo’s fist. Then she hears “Attention!” and she stands on attention looking at the direction of the voice.
After hearing Master Chief's comments, Naidania felt a sharp sting inside of her. Even though she completed the challenge, she might as well have utterly failed it for finishing dead last. There is a swell of emotions bubbling inside of Astral Elf that she has never felt before. This is not logical, such thing should not be happening. She controls herself by just staying on attention. Her head feels like she is in the vacuum of space. She does not hear what the others are saying, they are just background noise...

Hadozee Dodge reduces that by: 4
Initiative: 18
Kevin
Were you talking about uncanny dodge to halve the damage? That kicks in at fifth level.
The Master Chief’s backhander was effectively a surprise attack but going forward if Zalazcious wants here are the relevant initiative rolls:
Master chief = 15
Bosun Tarlo = 18
What does Zalacious or the rest of the party want to do.
