Cinis cursed under his breath before moving up against the cave wall. He reared his hand back and spat out, "Sruthán," which caused a Fire Bolt to form in his hand. He hurled the mote of fire forward at the goblin on the right. (If I can hit the one that's fleeing, I do that. Range is 120 feet.)

OOC: Should have been a bit clearer with the goblins' action on the last post, they used dodge, so attacks against them this round are at disadvantage.

Argos's first strike clangs off of the goblin's scimitar; the vibration pinches a nerve in his arm, temporarily weakening it and throwing off his second strike, which digs harmlessly through the air. (OOC: Crit fail means Argos loses his bonus attack with shortswords for 3 rounds. Arm is still strong enough to use a bow)
The other goblin sees Cinis's fire bolt coming, and sidesteps it. Bob trips as he looses his crossbow and falls prone.

Tarok and Nemean have broken the wall. As Nemean's arrow sticks in a goblin's throat, Tarok cuts through the other's arm and into its chest, felling it in one swing.
Still somehow standing, the goblin Nemean shot takes a desperate swing at Tarok, before disengaging from combat and fleeing toward the entrance to the southern room.
Scimitar Attack:17
The momentum of the strike is cut by the goblin's desire to run, and the blade just nicks Tarok's arm, dealing 3 damage.
Tracking: The goblin stands just in the entrance to the southern room, slowly bleeding out from the arrow in its throat. It is only visible to Tarok and Argos, a bend in the wall blocking it from Bob, Cinis and Nemean unless they move forward to where Tarok and Argos are.

Cinis curses at the goblin making his escape and takes off after it. He manages to get off another Fire Bolt before the goblin is out of sight, however.
The goblin manages to duck Tarok's swing as he chases after it. Cinis's fire bolt sputters out of his hands, meagerly falling to the floor before fizzling out. The sorcerer's confidence in his spellcasting has been sorely shaken. (OOC: Crit fail means your spell save DC has a -2 penalty for 3 in-game minutes. Cinis is definitely cursed.)
Turn 2Remaining: Argos, Bob, and Nemean (in any order)
Running with Cinis to get a shot at the fleeing goblin, Nemean's arrow doesn't quite meet its target, dropping meekly to the floor just a few feet ahead. The longbow's string has loosened over time, and has come unstrung. (OOC: Crit fail means that it will take 3 actions to restring the bow.)
OOC: Holy crit fail, Batman! Where have all the nat 20s gone??)

Argos and Tarok can now see into the southern room.
Sacks and crates of looted provisions are piled up in the south end of this large cave. To the west, the floor slopes toward a narrow opening that descends into darkness. You stand at the large northern entrance to the room, at the base of the steps leading south into the room. The roar of falling water echoes from behind you. In the middle of the cavern, the coals of a large fire smolder.
There are two stalagmites in the western side of this cavern. Hiding poorly behind one, you see a mangy tail. You can also see that the crates to the south of the room have been very poorly constructed to hide three goblins.
Cinis caught up to Tarok and Argos after the goblin had been dispatched. He noticed the goblins hiding behind the crates and the tail poking out from behind a stalagmite. With a gesture, he expressed his intent to launch an attack at the crates the goblins were hiding behind in order to cause them to catch fire. After receiving the go-ahead signal from the rest of the group, he mumbled "Sruthán." under his breath and hurled a Fire Bolt at the crates, hoping his aim would finally be true.

"Cinis, those are perfectly good supplies, maybe we shouldn't burn them." Tarok says quietly to the Tiefling.
Tarok approaches the stalactite as quietly as possible, hoping the fireball has distracted them a bit and aims a blow for the owner of the mangy tail, he guesses the wolf that Sildar described earlier.
