This section of the wall actually hides a stone door, which opens into a small 5-by-15 foot hallway, containing nothing but a stone set of stairs that ends at a wall.
Argos looks back to the others as the door opens. "Well, it's gotta lead somewhere, right?" Argos then enters the secret passage and descends the stairs. As he notices the dead end, he yet again searches for another hidden door. "There's gotta be another hidden door. They wouldn't just build this to a dead end."
"I'm with you. But we have to be quiet. If we open up this door and there are thirty Redbrands on the other side, that wouldn't be good." Cinis whispers to Argos as he Helps the dwarf search for another hidden passageway.

Nemean follows the indentation along the wall, and gently opens the passage like Argos did upstairs. He wiil heed Cinis’s warning and proceeds as quietly as possible in case there are Redbrands on the other side.
Tarok stays with the others, his sword drawn. He feels a nervous tension, knowing that they'll be in a fight at any moment. He tries to remain as quiet as possible alongside Nemean.
The door opens to a bedchamber covered with drapes of scarlet cloth. The furnishings include a small writing desk with a matching chair, a comfortable-looking bed, and a wooden chest at the foot of the bed.
Sitting at the desk is a short, dark-bearded human male in robes, studying a tome. He wears a princely mantle of ermine. A beautiful glass staff leans against his chair, within easy reach. His eyes raise slightly when he sees the door open, and when Tarok bumbles into Nemean, he grabs his staff with a flourish and bows. He addresses the two calmly.
"That's interesting, I wasn't expecting guests at this hour. I hope you have found the hospitality suitable thus far. Regretfully the entertainment has been light of late."
Cinis unleashes a shard of ice with stunning ferocity, punching through a glowing energy that surrounds Glasstaff and shattering. Tarok's vicious follow-up swing glances off the magical energy.
Round 1 Order: Players <=====Argos, Nemean and Sildar are up Glasstaff
Seeing the others jump into action, Argos rushes into the room, running around Glasstaff. Argos gets on the opposite side of Glasstaff from Tarok, so that he can flank. He then swings both of his shortswords towards Glasstaff.
Argos stows the shortsword in his left hand after making the second attack.
OOC: I gave myself advantage on the attacks because I assume I am flanking Glasstaff. If this turns out not to be the case, then I suppose you can just choose the first roll instead of the second.
Both of Argos's precise shortsword strikes punch through the magical defenses of Glasstaff, placing a wound in chest and shoulder each. Glasstaff reels back as Sildar rushes into the fray.
Longsword Attack: 21 Longsword Attack: 19
Sildar's face turns into a darkened rage as his sword lashes out, pommel first. "Iarno! Snake! I will see you hanged for this!" His pommel strikes Glasstaff in the throat for 4 damage before striking him again in the center of his forehead for 2 damage.
Round 1 Order: Players <===== Nemean is up Glasstaff
Sildar shouts at Nemean as he charges, "Nemean, no!" but it is too late. Nemean's scimitar breaks through Glasstaff's magical shield, opening his throat and sending him crashing dead to the ground.
Sildar rushes to check for a pulse, then shakes his head as blood begins to pool beneath the dead wizard. "Their 'Glasstaff' was Iarno Albrek, the mage who went missing. His punishment belonged to the Lord's Alliance, Nemean," he sighs and puts his hand up to his forehead, "Nothing to be done about it now, I suppose. That was...impressively quick work, all."
Tracking: There is a closed wooden door on the west side of this room. The hidden door you entered from exits this room to the east.

"Huh, that was their leader? Not much of a fight, but at least we're all safe." Argos begins looking around the room, first looking at the desk where Glasstaff sat, looking for any clues that could connect the Redbrands to the goblins on the Triboar Trail, or any other important information. "Let's look around and see what we can find in here, maybe there's something that can help us." Argos also checks to see if the chest at the foot of the bed is locked, if not, opens it.
Cinis inspected the body of Glasstaff, making sure he really was out of commission and that there weren't any magical items on him that could hurr them.
OOC: Correct, the chest was in the crevasse under the bridge, and Cinis has not relayed that information aloud yet.

"Hey, what's this on the wall right here?" Argos runs the tip of one of his swords through the indentation.
Could this be a hidden door?
Argos attempts to figure out what the indentation is.
